Emma quietly sneaks up on Théo while he's at his desk, wrapping her arms around his shoulders and pressing a kiss to his cheek. "Happy birthday, handsome."

He hummed, tilting his head back feeling Emma’s arms around his shoulders. “Thank you, Em. I appreciate it. Sorry I had to work today.”

[He nodded with a quiet hum towards Emma] Is that why there’s that mild...disconnect between you three? Age gap? [He kissed her head gently]

Mmmm, do you? [He returned the kiss softly]

[Emma taps her fingers for a moment in thought] Wim and I are much, much closer in age than Bas and I. I have memories from about a thousand and fifty years ago when Wim found me, but I was also carried around with nomadic tribes for a little less than a thousand years before that. Wim is slightly older than me at around two thousand plus. Bas… he really is young, considering that there’s fifteen hundred years between him and I.

[She gawks at him for a moment before giving him a kiss, her hand stroking his cheek] Mm…Hey, I love you too.

I do believe that you’re right...though I’m not sure of the timeline your brothers and you were born in...I know Wim’s the eldest, you’re the middle and Bas is the youngest, but what’s the age gap? [He nuzzles her gently] I love you.

I would like to hope I knew to some degree, but then again, that’s more a question for your brothers. [And he grins cheekily]

Oh well. [He tugs her into his side, kissing the side of her head] I can live with that.

[She smiles back, walking over and sitting down on the couch before kissing Théo’s cheek and snuggling close to him] Perfect.

Mmm, and we don’t want that. His fever is slowly lowering and I don’t want to disturb that. [He grinned] Look how cute you are. I’ve got drinks and popcorn and a blanket to snuggle in.

I was gonna say. [A little huff of amusement as she takes her pjs from his hands] Yeah, it’s not a pretty thing. He gets whiny too. 

[Emma wanders to the powder room, changing into a soft t-shirt and shorts, both grey with little navy blue elephants all over them]

Théo smiled down at Emma, kissing her cheek gently, giving a small nod towards Emma in response. “I know darling. Maybe we can celebrate both of ours on my birthday in August?” He takes the rest of the bags and smiles down at her. “You’re cute.”

A quiet hum left Théo and he looks at the mass amount of bags between them, nodding slowly at his girlfriend. “I’m so sorry I missed that I hope you know. I really, genuinely am.” He takes some more bags from Emma. “Well…I guess that’s enticing enough.”

I feel like grumpy, sick Bas is not something that we need on our hands. I’ll be right back. [He creeps upstairs, getting their PJs and coming back downstairs, silent as a mouse, handing Emma’s over]

I forgot our stuff was upstairs.

I say we change down here quickly in the powder room so that we don’t wake your brother going up and down the stairs.
