I think it’s kinda a shame how far zombies got from their source material

Don’t get me wrong, I like the way that they evolve over time reflects the fears of the people in that time period, but I still wish there was more of a connection to its source

So (this is just a really quick recap but I encourage everyone to go read up on more of it), zombies originated from Haiti (specifically Haitian slaves), and they weren’t violent, they were corpses reanimated against their will to continue being slaves, and the fear surrounding them was about becoming one, having your restful sleep stolen from you, and not being able to have that peace in death because of some jackass with magic

And yeah nowadays there’s a fear in being bitten, but idk, it’s less about the fear of becoming part of the horde and more about the fear of being torn apart by the horde, it’s not like how werewolves agonize over being werewolves, and I think it should be more like werewolves

Like even when a person has been bitten and is slowly becoming a zombie, it’s not really framed from their perspective of the fear of losing themselves and not being able to rest in peace, it’s always framed from the perspective of their loved one coming to terms that they may have to kill them to protect themselves

“Oh hell is full so that’s why the dead roam the earth” those are good people!!! who had their eternal rest robbed from them!!!!

I just. I just wish that killing a zombie was more about having mercy on them

never been punched so i don't have anything to compare it to, but i get nosebleeds a lot. they get worse during the winter months (and seriously, it's -7 degrees out. it's constant anymore), so it's not frostbite per se, but related.

the taste of it is this meaty, mouthwatering metallic thing. it's almost more of a sensation than a taste. heady. addicting. i let it drip down my nose and onto my lips just to lick it off.

i'll get super heavy nosebleeds where it's just a faucet and i have to lean over the sink to stop it from getting on everything. drip, drip, drip, three times a second for minutes on end. it makes these beautiful splatters

sometimes it drains down the back of my throat when i lean my head back too far on accident, and i end up coughing up clots. it gets under my fingernails, baked into my knuckles and the palms of my hands, smearing my face. i think it's when i look the most beautiful

BEAUTIFUL???? BEAUTIFUL?? THE MERE CONCEPT OF BEAUTY AND ADMIRATION FAIL TO COMPARE, TO GRASP, TO COME CLOSE TO EMBODYING THE LEAST OF THE FAIRNESS, THAT YOUR BODY PRODUCES. Beauty, the human concept, as it is perceived by most , cannot adapt to what we experience towards the macabre. No, you're not beautiful, as the word beauty is too limited, to describe that of your existence. What would not I do to witness it up, close and personal.

Always wondered what the blood from a nose would taste like. Not the one leaking after a punch, but the one from frostbite. Warm blood vessels popping due the temperature contrast. Would it have slightly salty taste from the snot, or this nice, thick, metallic one? Would my tongue warm-up the nose as it licks its red nectar? Would the flow increase? Would I suck it harder, eventually digging in and enjoying the feats of the soft tissue and joint?

Most definitely yes! But would there be someone willing to help me with this urge?

God, there's just something about the idea of cold flesh against mine, in my hands, against my body. Looking down at a pale, lifeless face as I hump and grind myself against them like a damn dog. The stiffness of the corpse under me contrasting with my desperate, hot movements. My panting opposing a still chest. Pressing my warm lips against their cold ones, melding against the unmoving as my tongue invades their mouth, drooling and licking in the utmost depravity.

I fear it's a need.

As a kid I was always obsessed with cemeteries and death etc so I think my necrophilism began there, it wasn’t until maybe a few years ago that I began to indulge in guro and recover from a gore trigger that I like. Had my true awakening LOL

On the subject of scooping brains, sometimes I get this sensation that it has melted, especially after long lectures or after hours of forced socializing and is about to leak out of my eardrums and eye sockets. All I wanna do in these situations is to collect the leaking fluids, put it in a bowl, and eat this nice, warm, thick soup. At least it won't hurt anymore. Mmmm....brain soup.
