✨ We are proud to announce our charity of choice -- Action Against Hunger! ✨

A quick overview of our charity: Since 1979, Action Against Hunger has worked in nearly 50 countries in an effort to end life-threatening hunger. In the last year alone, it has raised $45 million and assisted 21 million people.

AAH aims to reduce instances of acute under-nutrition through various programs: providing emergency treatment, improving access to clean water, and building sustainable solutions to chronic food insecurity. It is also at the forefront of scientific innovation -- in 1997, AAH introduced F100, the therapeutic milk formula now used by all major humanitarian aid organizations to treat acute malnutrition. Since then, the global mortality rate of severely malnourished children under the age of five has been reduced from 25% to 5%.

To learn more about Action Against Hunger and its programs, operations, and financials, please visit their website or their profile on Charity Watch. A full 93% of their donations go towards their programs and services, and the SUGIO Cookbook zine is immensely proud to help fund their vision of a world without hunger. We can’t, however, do it alone.
