my heart still goes out to scara man. its been years, and im STILL not over him. constantly thinking how long he stayed in shakkei pavilion just waiting for something. he wasn’t even supposed to wake up; ei left him there to sleep indefinitely, which is arguably a fate worse than death: alive, but not living. he's most likely immune to erosion as well, so just imagine what would’ve happened if that guy hadn’t found him, and even then, who knows how long the time span was between him waking up and him being found

he just wanted to belong. even when he was in the fatui, he was alright with not being seen as a person; he was alright with being used as a tool—as an object—bc if he wasn’t useful, then what was his purpose…

his colleagues used him as a bruiser; he spent a significant amt of time in the abyss just fighting, only resurfacing to get fixed bc of the significant amt of dmg he took, then he’d just go back down. rinse and repeat. and once he found out the ppl of tatarasuna didn’t betray him and it was all dottore’s doing, he didn’t think twice abt sacrificing himself for the slim chance that they would’ve lived; in other words, he literally committed suicide bc he rewrote history with the intention that he never existed

could talk abt this man for hours on end and i dont even play genshin anymore 😭
