found out i lost a childhood friend yesterday, it happened during the weekend. i was awaiting his letter, as our only form of communication was such, he was in prison, for a crime i believe he did not commit, he was at a low point in his life, but he had a lot of big hopes and dreams. he loved astrology, was a deeply spiritual person, and had a passion for poems and music. he wanted to publish a poetry book. he was passionately in love with my best friend since they were children, but there were too many obstacles in the way, not to mention we're all adults in our thirties, with relationships & kids, things pull us away in different directions. but still, he wanted to stay friends with all of us, he wanted to share his passion with people, and he loved my oc, ramona, as i showed to him in one of the emails ive sent him.

i fully expected to see him again, once he got parole in 2030, i didn't expect it to be this way, it still feels like a letter of his will turn up, and i find myself waiting for that letter.

i still kept his other letters.

I keep meeting artists who complain that Tumblr Is Dead then when I check their blog they've made four posts in six months and all of them were self promo lmao.
