The worst thing about having a crush on a friend is that they’ll do some normal innocuous friend thing and you just can’t be normal about it.

Like today my crush somehow got like a tiny piece of plastic from a bag in his hair and he was trying to get it out and he was like “can you try to get it out for me?” and as I’m touching his hair and pulling the plastic out my brain is just like “wow this is so intimate” and this poor guy just wants the plastic out of his hair and has no idea my feelings towards him.

when i try to fall asleep at night all i can think of is you.

this is what’s holding me back from acting on anything

our friendship and just being in his presence is way more important to me than risking it on the potential of physical affection

i feel like i’m always trying to ride the high of his affection; he’s so addictive, i always try and come back for a second taste

i wish it could go back to how it was before back to how i felt before these feelings crept up out of nowhere

normally a crush just leads to beautiful inspiration no real desire or longing - just an appreciation for a person that sparks me to be more creative

but not now

this ones different

everything feels different ill be fine until i see him then all i can think about is being near him

and when im near him all i can think about is wanting to show affection that i know i cant

i just want to stay there all day with him

i worry he doesnt feel the same

ive never wanted to be able to read someones thoughts more than i do now
