So not only do I feel pretty good about this upcoming year for the first time in a long while, but my bi ass is also wicked excited for a wlw movie coming out in a month!!!

“Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga” (“How I Felt When I Saw That Girl” or the translation I prefer: “I Saw This Girl And I Felt !!!!!”) follows the story of a closeted girl who struggles to find acceptance in her family as she comes out with her truth. I honestly started crying when I saw the trailed because it really hit home having grown up in this culture.

The movie is going to be the first mainstream major motion picture in India featuring an LGBT, specifically a wlw, couple!! It has the same release date - February 1st - here in the US and worldwide as it does over there in India though so don’t worry about missing it!

Y'all PLEASE spread this movie around, it is such a big step forward for India and to have a movie about getting acceptance to come out on the big screen about this is an amazing thing to happen.

THERE ARE CAPTIONS SO PLEASE WATCH THE TRAILER AND GO WATCH THE MOVIE IN THEATERS

This movie is on par with the effect of Love, Simon coming out in the US. It will be in theaters nationwide so this would be an awesome and huge step forward for it to come out and receive such amazing feedback and response!!! Please don’t let it flop 💗💜💙
