i'll be online to do my asks tomorrow. for now, i'm going to go watch my show and then go to bed. i slept all day but i'm still somehow exhausted and i've got to go celebrate my friend's promotion tomorrow afternoon (she's leaving my job and i'm sad) so i'm emotionally compromised atm as well lmao i'm going to be here eventually to be more active. sorry, my main accounts come first and i always put more energy in them lmao

"my woes unto you, milady," he repeats with a smile still present. he can't help the cheesy words that come out of his mouth, he's happy that he's just able to be here at all. before he was connected to Kiara and couldn't leave... now, he could do whatever he wanted without her. as much as he loves Kiara and he always will, a man really needs his privacy. he watches the wheels turning in her head and waits patiently. Shiloh isn't surprised by her questions, either. it's no surprise that she'd be curious---anyone would be. he shrugs his shoulders. "i don't know. we have to figure that out as we go, i think. i'dunno. there's been a lot of trial and error gettin' me back. i guess we'll have to take it in stride." a pause. "what other questions d'ya have?"

"yes. you wouldn't be the first, nor the last, to lay your woes at my feet, i suppose."

but he's smiling. which is good. normally when shit doesn't work, people are a lot more... yell-y, scream-y about it. sometimes they even cry. and sometimes they don't say anything at all because they're transfigured. but that's neither here nor there.

"hm," elle says slowly, "so you are." she looks like she's running the numbers in her head, even when she gives him a small, sincere smile. "welcome back to the land of the living, shiloh, but i do have questions: was it a one time thing? or do you need to continually take an embryonic elixir like it's a shot of rhodomel? this... this is new for me too. would you be okay with me asking you a couple of follow up questions? like, properly, i mean?"

despite being startled by her presence (he should be used to this), Shiloh beams. arms are quick to wrap around her legs to keep her steady as he laughs. "well good mornin' to you too." he says with a wide grin to match hers. he cocks his head to the side, giving her a sideways glance. "what has you in such a good mood this morning?" well, despite the fact that she can touch him again, anyways. it's been a long time---that's how it feels, anyways.

there is no one who can light up kiara's life like shiloh can, both figuratively and literally. he is, without a doubt, the best friend she has ever and will ever have. it's sunrise (his favourite time of day) and she's bouncing over him, joy in each step before jumping on his back. ❛ morning, sunshine! ❜
