Seeing the fear in the humans eyes actually made the creature feel bad, but it was only protecting itself! Eyes still narrow, it snorted at her, stepping closer as she tried to scoot away. Other like it? What was that supposed to mean? The creature leaned back up, tilting it's head and blinking curiously, but soon leaned back down to sniff at her. She was willing to give it her camera? That meant she was telling the truth or trying to save her own hide. It didn't intend on hurting her if it didn't have to. Pressing it's nose to her arms as they blocked her body, it took a deep breath, inhaling her scent to memorize it in case it needed to track her down if she turned on it. Once it got a good enough scent, it's body language relaxed, laying it's body down and nuzzling her arms with soft whines and nudges, trying to get her to open them. Honestly, it didn't mean to scare her this badly, even if it felt it needed to. After a moment of trying to get her to open up, it rest it's head beside her, letting out soft whines and whimpers, eyes looking over at her while it's tail wagged. See? It was harmless... most of the time.

Each expression changed like clockwork, and everything happened in what felt like literally a split second. The next thing she knew, her harness, part of her shirt, and camera were ripped from her from the swipe and her camera was now in the middle of the tunnel. She looked over to it, and then back at the beast only to lift her hands and start scooting back, “Hohohoho now noooo. It’s not what you think!” it was obviously intelligent, and it obviously understood her, what she was saying. It wouldn’t have done that if it didn’t.
"I don’t show that to anyone except other beings like you!" She lifted her hands to protect her center, arms crossing somewhat over her chest and one leg coming up over her belly. She wasn’t going to die here, and if she couldn’t reason with the creature, she was going to have to find some way of getting help. Would the boys actually be able to get there in time if it got to that point? She couldn’t fight off this thing, it was huge! She swallowed hard and tried reasoning again, "It’s just for me to watch and study! I like to learn about things different than me, there are others that do, too! If I were really a bad person, don’t you think I would have called someone by now!"
She peeked around one of her arms, now pinned against the tunnel wall she knew full well it was do or die time, “I don’t want to hurt you or expose you. I promise you that, you have my word. You can even keep the camera, I don’t care, just please calm down!” she wanted to extend her hands, show she meant no threat but she was scared now. She wasn’t bleeding or hurt from the swipe, though she had a ripped shirt and still in tact undergarments under that (Thank goodness that would be embarrassing if the guys did show up). She was otherwise unharmed still, just rattled.

Hearing the offering of food, the creature quickly got back up, nodding it’s head and coming closer to loom over her as it waited eagerly for the food. It would definitely leave if she threw all the leftover, unwanted pastries in a bag! It would carry them off feeling like royalty.
Snorting and grunting excitedly, it bounced it’s front paws, licking at it’s maw. Maybe it would get more than just bread. Maybe some donuts or crescents or something else tasty!

A hug? The beast's muscles tensed at the turtle's touch at first, not used to any sort of connection, but soon relaxed, letting out a snort and moving it's head to nip at his shell, flea biting him affectionately like a dog.
It couldn't help but wonder who he had lost, slowly pulling away from the hug and letting out another snort, motioning it's paw in a 'wait here' fashion before darting off.
It was a few minutes before it returned, a polaroid picture gently held between it's teeth. Lowering it's head, it offered it to Mikey to view. It was a picture of an older man, in his 60s with sunglasses and a bright, happy smile. he had many laugh lines on his face, seeming to be like any old grandfather one would look forward to visit. Beside him was a smaller version of the beast, looking confused and leaning into the crooked frame to try and get in the shot. The man had been blind and hadn't had much experience with cameras, so Kleine was trying to help him move his arm when the camera flashed. She remembered that day well, it was one of the last she had with him. Smiling down at Mikey, it wagged it's tail, happy to share this with someone.
Michelangelo jumped a little as the tail wrapped around his back, but once his forehead made contact with the Kliene’s he felt the comfort rest upon his shoulders like a thick, warm blanket. It closed it’s eyes, and Mikey felt the purr vibrate through the mutant and brush against his forehead.
"Thanks" the small turtle whispered. He leaned further into the mutant, returning the hug with equal reassurance.

Seeing the turtle girl use it made the beast’s heart soar. It had been helpful! Even if it was something little and not the best… She actually liked it and said thanks. That was enough for it! Tilting it’s head, it wondered where she was headed. Home? If home, then where was she before that? It wished it had the courage to talk to her, paws alternating bouncing in place in excitement with this knew acquaintance.

Yin blinked, watching the creature get up to leave. She was about to get up when it came back and snorted at her, indicating it didn’t want her leaving. The female turtle sighed and sat back down.
The wait wasn’t long as it quickly came back, carrying with it an umbrella. Yin glanced at the umbrella as it was placed near her feet. Well, seems it understood her which was good. A small smile tugged at her lips as she leaned forward and grabbed the umbrella.
"Thanks." she responded as she opened it up. It was a little worn and torn, but it seemed like it could help.

Fluffy, huh? It tilted it’s head. Wasn’t the most creative, but it made sense, seeing it’s appearance and with him not knowing it’s gender, it was a safe choice.
Leaning down, it licked the candied turtle’s cheek, enjoying the sweetness he naturally had as it showed support for his choice, tail wagging happily behind it. It didn’t mind Fluffy at all for the moment.
"Um…well for now would something like Fluffy be okay? I don’t wanna give you a name like George if you’re a girl or a name like Lily if you’re a guy. I uh…I’m bad at that still." He smiled sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck.

Eagerly taking the cookie, the beast scarfed it down, waiting for more, ready to eat all of her cookies without considering she might really need them. It seemed just as confused to what she was as well, but wasn't going to question free food from someone who wasn't a human.
Hearing a noise, it turned it's head back, on high alert of any possible humans seeing them, but after a moment, it looked back. Probably just a rat.
Taking a second look, it noticed she was running out of sweet treats and started to feel guilty. What if that was her only food? Frowning, it stood back up, walking past her, hooking her with it's tail as a nudge to follow before letting her go.
"Oh um….alright then." Echo handed over the cookie. "You do not have to lay down anymore, I was just curious if you would do it or not. I will not tell you what to do anymore." She watched, still confused. What was it? Did it have a name or any companions that might be looking for it? It may live here, that was pretty common these days.

Hearing his sadness, Kleine wasn't sure what to do, frowning down at the turtle, wondering who he lost and how long ago. Her old friend passed away many years ago, but it still hurt. If he lost his more recently, it remembered the pain it had gone through, wishing no one to suffer as it had, even if it was a fact of life.
Getting closer, it curled it's tail around Mikey's shell, pulling him into it as if trying to hug and comfort him. It leaned it's head down to rest it's forehead on his, closing it's eyes as it purred. It was trying to communicate support and sympathy for the turtle, hoping it wasn't going to frighten him away by doing so.
Mikey’s gaze softened as he read the words on the ground.
"Oh… I’m sorry" he apologized, rubbing his arm sadly. Almost immediately, his mind connected his current situation to the subject of Leatherhead. He walked up to the female mutant with a sympathetic smile
"I know the feeling" he said, the chipperness in his voice suddenly replaced with a glimmer of restrained sadness.

After eating it's fill of foods that were certain to make it regret stuffing it's face later, it pulled away from the fridge, licking it's maw and looking over to Leo. Someone it didn't even know was kind enough to share their food with it, without question. It was odd how much kinder mutants were than humans, probably understanding the struggle it was to find your next meal.
Lowering it's head in front of him, it bowed to show Leo it's thanks, promising itself to return the favor someday if it could find it's way back. All it really had was canned food at the moment, nothing compared to how nice fresh food was, but it was the least it could give.
Sitting himself down against the cabinets that sat next to the fridge, Leo gave in and let the beast do whatever. There were going to be questions in the morning and Leo hoped he could avoid them. It was against the Bushido Code to lie, but staying out of a confrontational situation was advised. Chuckling quietly as the beast turned its attention back to food, Leo reserved himself to just sitting quietly and waiting for the creature to finish.

If it weren’t for the damn bindings and muzzle, it would have done more than roll on the Kraang, not wanting to see one left alive after all the things they had done to so many, but it just wasn’t an option now.
Looking up at the alligator as it began to run off, it saw him pause, as if a welcome to join it. Right now, any enemy of Kraang was a friend of it’s. It’d have to worry about the possible dangers this stranger was when they were out of here.
Hurrying over as fast as it’s binding allowed, it struggled to catch up, snorting at the other through it’s muzzle as it shifted it’s paws eagerly, wanting to be free.

Numerous enemies swarmed the alligator, but he did not feel overwhelmed. No, the anger coursing in his veins blinded him to any difficulty, only the overwhelming desire for vengeance. And oh how he dished it out with relish. Each blow came like a crushing jaw on the metallic bodies of the Kraang, their metal bending like crumpled paper at his feet. It didn’t bring him joy, but with each less Kraang, it brought him a feeling of bloody satisfaction.
In the midst of this carnage he found another player entering the game. The way it fought Leatherhead thought similar to his own, had he the ability to make cognizant. The alligator only thought of destruction and escape. But this new addition Leatherhead found beneficial, if something decided to aid him in his anti-Kraang agenda, no need to question it, right? After the last of the Kraang swarming him, Leatherhead took the opening as a chance to move down the hallway and closer to his escape. He looked back at the beast before moving on. Dare it follow?

Why was it so many humans and mutants were appearing in it's tunnels so suddenly? It was constantly chasing someone off and who knows how long before people were going to bring traps and cameras down here to find it? Now another human girl was lurking around, searching for something. Well, the beast wasn't going to have that.
Stalking the girl, it waited for the person moment of 'attack', which meant scaring her and chasing her out of it's home, when it heard a weird beeping. A bomb? A phone? A tracker? Who knows. It kept to the shadows, seeing that the way she was dressed, she could be packing real weapons.
Crouching low now that she was distracted by a rat, it prepared to pounce when a large group of humans appeared. Oh come on! Was nothing sacred?! They were coming in droves now! Seeing the girl turn in fear, it guessed they weren't friends, but curiosity got the better of it, keeping low and watching for what happened next.

Why?
In all the buildings, and all the places in this city, why had he decided to come down here into this abandoned subway? It wasn’t as if he’d have much of anywhere to hide really, not to mention this area was really in shambles. Some of the fortifying beams looked like they were about to give, and there was so much rust on the untended metal rails that she briefly considered the thought that anyone who might wander down here by chance, would definitely want to get a tetanus shot after.
Or maybe even three.
So then what was so important down here that merited it to be this guy’s go to point as he fled from her? It really didn’t make any sense. Unless of course if it was a…

When Leo spoke, the beast turned it’s head back towards him, opening it’s mouth to let out a whine before it stretched wide in a yawn, soon closing it’s mouth and shaking out the fur on it’s neck and licking it’s lips tiredly.
Of course it wanted to see inside! If the beast went inside it’s home, he’s be curious too, right? At least it's what it would think, though Leo had a lot more impulse control than it did.
Looking at the door a moment longer, it turned away from it, showing it did understand it wasn't supposed to go in, even if it didn't like it. Now looking at Leo, it tilted it's head, wondering what he was doing out of his food filled home anyway.
It wanted to get in. Leo couldn’t have that. The others were in there, he had left the lair to breathe for a reason, there was too much happening. The beast was much too big to try to hide.
As a result, he just stared at it and sighed, contemplating his thoughts.
"…you really want to see what’s behind that door, don’t you?"

A child with a KRANG?! Were they kidnapping children now instead of using robots as rides? What a downgrade… maybe they were running out of materials. No matter, the kid needed to be rescued!
The beast came out of hiding, hurrying over towards the child and captor with a low growl, showing no fear of either. They were harlmess! At least it seemed… If it could disable the Kraang and grab the kid, it could run before the alien could pull any weapons out.
Mr.Pinkey slid back into her backpack, as Mila skipped about, and wandered the big underground tunnel. The little turtle hummed to herself as she explored, but couldn’t see any sign of life, or anything that could tell her there was someone living down here. ” Hey, Mr.Pinky?” she called to her backpack, the Kraang poking it’s head out for a moment, and acknowledging the girl with a single grunt. ” Can you give me one of the water bottles we packed?”
A pink tenticle reached over to her, handing her one of the small children’s water bottles her mom has in the fridge especially for her, and her pet. ” Thank you!”

Feeling the prodding in it's side, the beast's paw came out of the dumpster to wave her away, as if shooing a fly or dog. It didn't want to be bothered while looking for food.
When the prodding continued, it rolled it's eyes before pulling it's head out to look at her with confusion. She wasn't phased at all by it's appearance. It didn't make sense. It was a giant beast that terrified most, often confused with a bear. Wasn't it scary to her?
Hearing their predicament, the creature looked from her to the dumpster, then back to her. It could come back when she was gone or just wait until she was done if that would get her out of it's fur. Standing up, it walked over to the other side of the alley and laid down in the shadows, obviously just waiting for her to leave.

The scent made it so curious, watching the human carefully as she turned over, seeing that she wasn't reaching for anything in her jacket like a gun. Tilting it's head, it wondered about these 'friends', licking it's snout in thought. Odd friends for a human to have, but maybe she was nice to 'freaks' and 'monsters' like most people called it.
When she motioned towards her camera, it's ears pinned back and it let out a menacing growl towards the blinking light. That usually meant they were recording, right? So this human was trying to find proof of it to take to other humans? No wonder she was being nice and smelled so strange, she was a hunter of some sort?
Not willing to be found and experimented on or put down, the beast swiped at the camera, knocking across the tunnel. Now looking at her, it wasn't as calm and curious as before. She had become a threat.
Forgotten Subways || closed || Subway-dweller
"I wonder if it’s just a really big dog… It’s not hurt anyone yet, so I don’t think I really have to worry about anything with observing it," her voice stayed calm, steady even as she spoke only loud enough for her mic to catch her voice as it hung near the camera. She examined the fur still between her fingers, rolling it around and seeing that, though it was course, it wasn’t wool, just very thick hair. She hummed a little to herself, "The claw marks I’ve seen on the walls aren’t man or machine made, they’re organic but easily twice the width of my hand, so the claws would have to easily be about.. Maybe four times as long as my own fingers? I want to say that’s where the sloth-like features of the rumors came from…"
Rrrrrrrrowrrrlllllll….
She tensed up suddenly, “…. And I think I’m screwed,” she mumbled, feeling the ground under her shake just a little from the creature’s stomping behind her, a large maw shoving into her spine she actually almost fell over, hands shooting out she pressed her palms on either side of the ground to keep herself from flattening against the ground. Though she was royally scared shitless, she had enough of her wits about her to keep perfectly still and not make any sudden movements. If it was a bear, there was always playing dead, but she was pretty sure that was a myth anyway.
"E-Easy," she spoke quietly, "I’m not gonna hurt you," she kept her hands firm on the ground, but soon the creature was nosing and snuffling at her furiously, much like a rather large dog, like she had theorized in the first place. She couldn’t see who or what it was behind her since, well, it was behind her, one, and two her phone had fallen to the ground. She didn’t want to grab it and turn it to blind the creature adn thus piss it off; that was not how she wanted to see what its claws looked like, buried inside of her and leaving her a bloody, torn up meat mess on the ground.
"You smell my friends, huh?" she carefully, slowly moved around so she was facing the creature, only barely illuminated from the blow glow of her phone screen, and slowly she held out her hand to it, "See? Nothing in my hands. I’ve only got that," she pointed at the phone, "This," she pointed to her camera, obvious from the tiny red blinking light just near the lens, "And a recorder. I like to explore and learn about things," she wasn’t sure if it could understand her, but something felt different than just some beast at a zoo.
It felt like it might be intelligent, like perhaps it had some sort of understanding, considering it had snuck up on her like it did instead of thrashing her around or just avoiding her. The stomping reminded her of when she was younger and she was cornered by a skunk. They would stomp their feet repeatedly to show how fierce they were in warning, and then spray you if you didn’t run fast enough.

When the turtle approached it, the beast turned and hissed, unsure of how friendly it was despite having helped it. Looking him over, it saw he was totally different from anyone it had ever seen before. No wonder humans were chasing him.
When he spoke, it took a step toward him and nodded, soon sniffing at him curiously, trying to figure out exactly who and what he was. Some sort of alien? Mutant? Undiscovered species?
It's eyes were wide with wonder at him, nearly touching it's nose to his as it sniffed.

Leo watched with wide eyes as the beast attacked the Foot soldiers. Why was it helping him? Staying completely still, frozen by shock, the terrapin did not move until all the soldiers had been either knocked out or chased away. Moving out of the shadows, he approached the creature cautiously.
"Thank you" he breathed, overcoming the initial shock.
