It was a great experience to work as a United Nations Online Volunteer (UNOV) for the Cameroon Association of Active Youths (CAMAAY), Cameroon.
Remotely, I worked as a UNOV for eleven weeks. Working as a part of an International Team helped a lot in broadening my experience. Our UNOV Team members were from 12 different countries: Bangladesh, Cameroon, Chile, China, Ecuador, Egypt, Italy, Lebanon, Netherlands, United Kingdom, United States, and Malaysia. It was an honour for me to serve as the Team Leader for the International Team.
I must thank Mr Patrick, Director of CAMAAY, for his support.

Build Back Better (BBB) I had an excellent opportunity to participate in the BBB training program conducted by the #UNDRR, #UNOSSC, and the World Health Organization (#WHO). It was very comprehensive and valuable. This training provided various insights for local authorities and urban development practitioners around the globe. I got a broader perspective on ‘risk reduction’ beyond Laboratory Biorisk Management.  Special thanks to the organizing team. Great Job! #SDGs #sustainability #biosafety #biosecurity #bioriskmanagement #COVID_19 #resilientcities

Biotechnology has a tremendous potential to improve human, animal, and environmental health from one health perspective. However, all scientists, laboratorian and stakeholders should be fully aware of the dual-use-associated risks.
We need to promote the awareness and importance of due diligence and know-your-customer practices to secure biological materials, equipment, and knowledge to keep everybody safe.
Thanks to CRDF Global for training me on “Due Diligence & Know-Your-Customer Practices to Secure Biological Materials, Equipment, and Knowledge” through their comprehensive training program.

We need to promote ‘One Health’ for safety, security, and global sustainability. I was enrolled in the “Global Health at the Human-Animal-Ecosystem Interface” course to refine my thoughts on one health and pathogens’ spillover from animals to humans. Today, I have completed the seven weeks program. Thanks to the University of Geneva and Coursera for the #Fellowship.
