So Tumblr is dying soon

I guess haven't been very active lately, but I'm continually saving content to post. It's a bummer that it won't see the light here, but another site will replace this one, I have no doubt in my mind. Tumblr will fail in a couple of years and we'll share a private laugh about it.

Not gonna lie, I'm a little sad aboit all of the niche porn that is being lost. Like SO much niche porn, Christ. Tumblr was the best site for it, hands down. But well, I don't see it ending in any other way, so I won't waste my energy mourning. One thing they got right: there is no shortage of porn elsewhere. What is lost will be replaced. We will live, they will die. That's all there is to it. (Seriously, though: save as much as you can for the sake of pornographic memory).

I resolutely dislike (or at least find unappealing) pretty boys unless they're buried under a thick layer of hair and have that sleazy grungy aura to them.

So I decided to change the name and handle of this blog because it was too generalist. My porn has the common theme of service tops, along with other assorted filth, usually subversive in itself, so this way I'm more likely to attract the right audience.

So welcome to sub(top)version, A filthy exercise in challenging the almost invariable trope of the dominant top in gay culture, in conjunction with shameless, rather dark, uncommon kinks. This has got to be my favorite post in tumblr. Even before I opened an account, I had it favorited, and liked across multiple ones.

To me it's a picture of submission from strength, not weakness. It's a tightly leashed wolf, in appearance domesticated, willingly subjecting himself to another's mercy for as long as it remains respectful of his nature. It's a story of a conflict of shame and need. Melancholic, but not dark. Love-thirsty.
