Madara & Izuna HC pt 2

Enton was developed by Izuna to be able to fight more effectively alongside his brother. he didn't really invent it, but he developed techniques to utilize it in battle, as it was generally used for more ceremonial/spiritual purposes. (hc for another day that izuna specifically was raised/trained in a shrine)

Despite being the only Uchiha able to keep up with Madara on the front lines, he was worried that he was holding him back bc his brother didnt want to catch him in the crossfire of his absurdly destructive Katon techniques.

it's original use was to divert Madara's flames away from himself (kinda like a flame cloak). this made the brothers an absolute nightmare for everyone they fought - picture this: the brothers lead the charge and engage with enemy forces, the remaining Uchiha are kind of trailing behind and using long-range attacks. kind of suspicious, but doesnt raise enough alarm for them to not be taken by absolute surprise when Madara whips out the Majestic Destroyer Flame mid crowded battlefield.

bc why would they expect that???? Izuna is right there ffs!! in fact he's in the spot where most damage would occur!!

but when the flames subside and charred bodies litter the battlefield, Izuna is standing serenely in the middle of it, unharmed, smug smile on his face

Izuna later teaches the flame cloak to a bunch of their best warriors, and opposing the uchiha now neccessitates having a lot of suiton experts wherever Madara is bc you never know when he's going to spit out a piece of Actual Hell. which just makes everything worse bc you need a lot of suiton experts in general for the uchiha and devoting such a large portion of them to just Madara means the others get to go crazy with the arson.

but ofc bc he's a menace Izuna isn't content with just the flame cloak. one battle, Madara is preoccupied (in all likelihood in a deadlock against Hashirama), and their opponents breathe a sigh of relief that at least Izuna's range isn't all encompassing. His techniques are concentrated and powerful, yet have much smaller coverage. if they are careful, they can dodge his flames.

and they do, expertly weaving away from the flames' path and charging towards Izuna. Except the flames swerve course and strike them from behind.

You cannot dodge Madara's Katon because of its sheer scale and power, and you cannot dodge Izuna's Katon because the flames will hunt you down.

also why Tobirama never dodges Izuna's katon. like that dumbass ball moves in a straight line relatively slowly if ur a fast ninja, why waste chakra putting it out? bc it will chase you that's why. hc he invented so many homing suiton jutsu just bc of that, and that's a huge part of why he could hold Izuna back through a skilfull combo of sensing the flames' trajectory + homing suiton. hate u to the point of invention.

endnote: Enton:Kagutsuchi is a unique MS specific variation of Enton that allows the application of Enton to Amaterasu, only accessible by the Itachi-Sasuke MS pair.

Getting the sharingan? No problem. But one tomoe is overrated, why not directly two.

Oh, "sharingan sharing" is clan-exclusive? Too bad. Also, never asking that sharingan back? And, the two sharingan can "harmonize" (the italian translation use a similar word) and let Obito and Kakashi share sight, hearing and mind? Yeah, Obito absolutely has no feelings for Kakashi, no way that is the reason for him to make a self-destructive choice, what a foolish theory.

I really like Itachi’s character and I also tried to make him look younger bc the drawing is set during the Uchiha massacre and it always annoyed me how old Itachi looked. The massacre would be so much more tragic if Itachi actually looked and sounded like he's 13.

I would have been so pissed if I was itachi when I awakened mangekyo. Like shisui had cool eyes that could make ppl do what u want (amazing for a brainwashed pacifist) and then he got the Mindfuck Torture eye and the Burn Everything Forever eye.
