Peter put his hands up, hearing Ned’s panicked breathing behind him. Peter was never more thankful that Michelle hated Star Wars than in this moment, thinking that if he could be glad for anything while staring down the barrel of a gun - at least he only had one person to watch out for.

He didn’t have his webshooters, a dumb decision on his part even if he’d reasoned that nothing terrible could happen at the movies.

Peter really should stop testing the universe at this point.

Between having a reckless superhero for a best friend and dealing with his own family’s vast array of issues, Ned gets used to being everyone’s support system.

Ned the Dumbwaiter

Peter gets horribly sick on Halloween night and his very overwhelmed Guy In The Chair attempts to take care of him. But when both boys find themselves in over their heads, Tony takes over.

Poison Apple

“I-I think something’s wrong with me.”

Ned gives a short laugh. “Pretty sure we established that when you puked in a corn maze. You’ve got like, food poisoning or something.”

Peter shakes his head. “No, not that.” He takes a few short breaths. “Chest feels weird. Kinda hard to breathe.”

Or, a field trip gone wrong leaves Peter and Ned wandering through a seemingly endless corn maze. This would be bad enough, but when Peter starts getting seriously ill on top of that, it all goes to shit.

my Passed Torch AU is what’s required the most “research” so far, if rewatching Iron Man 3 scenes and analyzing the way other writers characterize a much older Harley Keener is considered research

my favorite part about the writing process is when the pieces for a prompt just fall into place

as writers, I think we’ve all been guilty at some point of sitting down and churning out a story becuase it needs to be finished, but there’s nothing quite like connecting all the dots in your head, loving the story, and then getting to build it into something other people can enjoy & be a part of

hi, I’ve been just barely functional these past few weeks & can’t really find the motivation to get on this app most days

anyway... I write for Marvel, mostly. I’m definitely open to other fandoms, but inspiration strikes randomly (as I continue to write, my ao3 might offer better insight into what I’m into). + I’ve been doing this, rather inconsistently, for about 2 years
