Hi! My best friends Dakotah and their partner have been struggling ever since Dakotah was unfairly targeted and fired at her last job back in October. They have been asking for help to be able to secure funds for rent and bills.

She's been job searching for months now and has been mostly ignored with some unsuccessful interviews. She's got one offer at a store, but they haven't gotten back to her yet, and they are, unfortunately, only minimum wage at about 15 hours per week. Her partner is currently working, but he also only makes minimum wage.

I've been helping them with rent and bills as I can, but I am now also struggling financially and am unable to help as much as I have been. They are currently behind about 1 month on rent, but as of today (1/31/24), the company that owns our apartments are claiming they are behind 3 months which isn't true at all.

If you could reblog and/or donate to help them, that would be greatly appreciated. If you are also interested in MTG, she also has a shop online where she is selling her cards as well. Dakotah was homeless for 3 years before for being kicked out due to being queer, and I dont want her to go through that again or have her partner experience it either. Dakotah is willing to show her rent bills if you'd like that as proof as well.

THEY'VE RECEIVED AN EVICTION NOTICE PLEASE HELP

Dakotah is still waiting on even starting her job, and as of today (2/09/24), they have gotten an eviction notice. They are claiming they owe way actually do. I know this is not true for a fact because I literally paid in full for their rent on the months they claim they didn't pay.

Dakotah is currently looking for the receipts to prove that it was paid, and we are hoping that will put off the notice for now. But they are still behind on rent, bills are in collections, and they are at risk of losing access to their phone service.

Please help and reblog this. Im actually begging y'all to help my them. Im so stressed and terrified that they are going to end up homeless. If you can't, please at least reblog this. Like I've said previously, Dakotah is willing to show proof of rent bills if you want that. She also has ca$happ and venmo if that works as well! Anything helps please!
