Week One Day Four
Lunch:
- diet pepsi
- sparkling water
- coffee
Dinner:
- currently planning on “brinner”.
Snacks:
- none yet
I really hope there’s pancakes and/or french toast for brinner mmmmm. with banana. [7 heart eye emojis] My roommate was here this morning, so I still couldn’t weigh myself. That probably sounds weird haha. But living in a dorm, her space is my space and my space is hers... so everything I do she knows about and I’m not trying to deal with that for now.
So. Weigh in tomorrow. I hope.

Week One Day Three
Lunch:
- grapefruit
- big salad (lettuce, kidney beans, cucumber, carrots, raspberry vinegrette)
- 4 mini veg samosas
Dinner:
- pint of Enlightened Cookies & Cream icecream
Snacks:
- two small bananas
OH MY GOD. The Enlightened ice cream is literally THE BEST THING EVER. Halo Top was always kind of meh, for me. But this stuff??? It is GREAT. It doesn’t have the weird texture that halo top has, and it really tastes like real ice cream. It’s only vegetarian though because it is made with skim milk. So today was my veggie day (1/3 for the week)
weight: I meant to check this morning but there were no batteries in my new scale. I went to the store and got some though. So tomorrow for sure!

Week One Day One
Day One 9/22/2018 - veggie day
Lunch:
lots of coffee
Dinner:
- Rice Bowl (brown rice, broccoli stirfry, with some sauce on it.
- Salad (lettuce, baby spinach, cucumber, carrots, mushrooms, kidney beans, raspberry vinegrette, and lemon squeezed on top)
- Burrito Bowl (white rice, roasted veg, corn, guac, shredded lettuce, pico)
Snacks:
- medium / large banana
- medium apple
So today was kind of a lay-in day. I started the netflix original series called “American Vandal” and got so absorbed into it that I accidentally finished two seasons of it today. So I spent all day doing that and didn’t leave my room at all all day and just ate dinner. But I ate a lot at dinner and am planning on the two snacks for later. I won’t be recording my calories here, nor the quantities of food, only what I ate. Because I don’t want to unintentionally trigger someone.
I’m also on this new kick where I’m going to try and eat completely vegan 2 days a week, vegetarian 1-3 times a week, and chicken only the rest of the week.
Still no exercise because my foot is broken.
I didn’t weigh in today and I’m not planning on doing so until monday.

Weighed In Today...
...And it wasn’t good.
It’s been years since I’ve weighed this much, and I’m less than three pounds away from what I consider my “extreme danger” weight. I’m in the danger weight right now, and I don’t like it. I don’t like how I feel or how I look. I’m going to try and start making some better choices until I lose a few pounds. Wish me luck.
Current Weight: 198
Goal Weight: ~140

Food is not here to entertain me. I have books, friends, nature, adventures and my own life to entertain me.
Food is not here to sooth me when I am sad. I have journals, friends, pets, prayer, hot tea, music and showers for that.
Food is not here to pick me up after a hard day. I have tomorrow, and the promise of a new day is enough for me.
Food is not here to celebrate my great days. I will share my joy with others. I will celebrate and appreciate what I have.
Food is not here to fill me to the brim. I do not need to feel full to be nourished. Food is here to satiate me.
Food is nourishment. It’s job is to give me energy to get through the day. It’s job is to give me nutrients, help me get stronger, and fuel my brain. It is not a replacement for real life. It is not about pleasing my brain, it is about pleasing my body. True change starts at the very foundation. Change your relationship.

Hey, you. Yes, you.
Scrolling on Tumblr isn’t gonna get you healthy or fit. Reblogging isn’t going to get you there either. Make a plan. Get it in writing. DO THE THING!!!
Then come back and tell us what you did. Tell us if it worked or if it needs tweaking. Ask people you respect for advice and make it your own.
Be the blog you are looking for.
