Introducing my fake Casper the Friendly reboot (loosely based off the plot of the 1995 with darker tones/themes inspired by the original cartoons from the 40s)

A scene in which Evander, the main villain attempts to convince Casper to make a deal and Casper (being, well, Casper the friendly ghost) remains totally oblivious to Evander’s very obvious evil plan

This fake screencap/redraw was based off of There’s Good Boos Tonight, which is one of my favorite pieces of animation of all time and something that I watched a concerning amount of times as a kid but anyways if you’ve never seen it and also need a good cry then I’d definitely recommend checking it out on YouTube

Just a kid in full early 1900’s attire exiting a mausoleum, nothin to see here

(for context this is based loosely off the plot of the movie from 1995 but with darker themes inspired by the original Casper cartoons from the 40s- in this hypothetical show, Casper makes a deal with the villain so he gets to be alive again whenever he wants, but only during daylight- but the deal has a few catches, one being that he has to go to the cemetery every time get his body back ((which has been repaired with magic of course)) and has to make sure that he returns it back the family mausoleum before sunset- It’s like a library book but with resurrection! :D )

Before November comes to an end, I’m sharing some last minute fall vibes with some art for my Casper the Friendly Ghost redesign/reimagining (headcanon/backstory edition <3)

I haven’t made anything in a while so here’s some thumbnails that turned into some color tests for a Casper related piece that I never finished but at least it still accomplishes the goal of being depressing!!! (Also yay for more Ferdie Fox!!)

It’s been like 100 years since he died- and- *sniff* he never fully processed the fact that he’s a ghost and that his childhood was cut short until now and-*sobbing*
