my cat is incredibly sweet and wants nothing more than to be within a 5 ft radius of a person at all times, gently chilling in your orbit. he is also VERY, VERY DUMB 

it’s a slow morning so husband and I are reading, not making much noise. meanwhile, Barold goes downstairs to use his box and when he comes out, he starts yowling like his lil heart done broke. husband goes to to the top of the stairs all worried like, “Barold, what’s wrong?”

kitty zips back up the stairs and just oozes onto husband’s feet, purring high-powered lawnmower style. the realization hit us both at the same time…

this. boy. this itty bitty kitty boy. 

he couldn’t see or hear us for ten continuous seconds, forgot. we. were. home. and immediately burst into tears !!!!

my current favorite is probably my cookie run kingdom pirate au!! I still have so much to expand upon with characters and world building, and I haven’t even gotten to the plot yet 😭 

a close second would have to be ghost fire au I think - I really enjoyed making it and inflicting emotional damage in my friends’ dms xD /silly I hope I can have the energy for it again one day!

jokes aside, off the top of my head! big fan of a lot of solar @/betweenland’s aus, especially their the crafting dead au (ouhhh i am tearing chunks out of it /silly), arctic oscillation (northern desert) au (very normal about it), and black sheep come home au (collab with @/fluffypapaya!)(i will read the newest chapter eventually i prommy)

also a big fan of astro @/astronautbean’s aus!! the cowboy au, some pirate aus, the fashion au is also a collab of sorts with her and a couple of other ppl in the scenario shipping discord!! ummm @/thesparkledash’s fallen ancients au, @/moxijunk’s north au, @/little-luna-llama’s starry dreamers au, @/kindatiredtho’s kingsman au, and @/konoharft’s bulletproof hearts au

I honestly don’t have too many au ocs but my favorite would have to be crunchy salt cookie (time adventure au)! she was created as a one off character but she has lore now lmao

probably the reception they’ve gotten? like in general? aside from some unfortunate happenings from my earlier aus, my recent aus have gotten a lot of love that I wasn’t expecting! also getting fan art was a first - tyyy to everyone who drew art for my aus i really appreciate it <3

I love when a character wants to be someone's dog so so bad. Dont mean it in a sexual way (although that can also be a part of it) I mean like. Let me be your loyal companion let me stay by your side give me a purpose in exchange for endless unconditional love let me stop being a person love me like it's my only use. Love me like that's the only thing I was made for. As you can tell. I'm normal.
