the only reason i’m addressing this is because i have gotten multiple anons of people calling me names because apparently im running some expose account

i haven’t been on this app,

if someone can tell me how to prove what accounts i have ill happily do it,

if you go on to that expose page you can see that they’re saying that they are every person’s name that comes up.

expose pages go against literally everything i stand for on this app, i saw @bernardsbendystraws ‘s post about it as soon as i woke up and i reblogged it because i 100% agree, expose pages are some of what’s wrong with the tumblr fandom.

expose pages should be if someone did something genuinely wrong like kill someone or whatever the fuck, but making a page to just shit on people and say what you don’t like about them is NOT “exposing” it’s hating. and it’s not “fun” for anyone else but the page

i have been in this fandom since 2021 and you think if i was gonna start an expose page i would’ve done it before now ,

Nothing in this fandom needs to be "Exposed."

I've never gone into any drama with the intention to "expose" people, I've only ever done what I've done to warn people or defend myself. I'm sorry, but accounts being 'annoying' doesn't need to be talked about. Nothing needs to be talked about.

Exposing someone implies that they are significant and I'm sorry, but this is tumblr.com - no one in this fandom has a big following from being their own public figure, they have followers because they post content related to the Sturniolos. We are all fan accounts. Nobody is able to be a celebrity through a fan account.

This is frustrating for everyone in the fandom. Trust me, I get the anger and the annoyance, I really, really do. But, we can't stop these people from posting or making accounts. You can't convince them with words since any logic falls on deaf ears. You can't report their account because this app isn't very helpful. It really does feel like a losing battle and I get that.

However, I do think it's time for a change. A good change that may be difficult. If we wanna build the safe environment and make this a more positive place, that needs to come from us building, not us trying to tear others down - even if they are in the wrong. And I am beyond guilty of this. I will sit there, angrily looking at all the dumb shit instead of finding good people sharing good content and interacting. I truly am part of the problem, but I want to be part of the solution.

It's gonna be hard. I, out of all people, truly do understand how hard it is to block. You feel like you're missing out. What if you get talked about? What if your friends get talked about? What if you just...miss something? I get it. It's hard to let go because you're scared, but at this point, something needs to change.

If we think about it, blocking this account and feeding it no attention is the best way to proceed. Even if they still spread shit and do gross things, we can build a positive side of the community, one that doesn't feed into that garbage - lift people up and focus on the good things getting better.

People will realize it's a lot more fun to be reading, interacting, creating, and just being a good person. Those who don't can suffer from their own actions, being miserable, and that's fine. But it won't be me and I refuse to let this cycle continue personally.

I love this app. I'd love it a lot more if I felt like I got to meet new people and build connections, bouncing creativity off my friends, sharing ideas and just getting excited. That's what I want, so that's what I'm gonna do and strive to achieve every time I come on here.

So yes, that account will be getting blocked from me. As will other expose accounts. They don't get my energy or attention anymore. I hope you can understand why and I hope we can all be apart of a solution rather than focusing on problems.
