A funny “not all men” moment in class today

I wanted to have a bit of a social experiment in my class today.

I wrote the word “Men” on the left side of the whiteboard and “Women” on the right.

I split the classroom up between the two genders (there were no students in this class that identified otherwise).

First, under the word “women” I had the boys describe women. The words the boys used in order were “thots, deviants, devils, train wrecks, dirty, stupid, sensitive, moody, dramatic, no self respect, satisfying, hoes.” Keep in mind, the girls in class were watching and making comments to themselves and each other but they were visibly amused above all else.

When it was the girls’ turn to list adjectives under “men” they were only able to list the word “disloyal” before the boys in my classroom erupted into protest, shouting “that’s not fair!” and “not all men!”

Okay, being white is a no, no nowadays (even though I’m latina...but my skin is pale as fuck because of my sickness). Why can’t fucking ALL races be represented? THAT’s the ONLY thing I DON’T get!!!(???). You clearly DON’T watch movies....there are A LOT black people represented?! What about Blade??? I LOVE Blade! (not because he’s black, but because he is a cool dude!). What about Karate Kid (also one of my fav. movies). What about Men in black? Or all the movies with Will Smith in it?

But hey, I get it you all! Whites can’t be diverse. Just blacks can be diverse. Something NEW learnt :)

@Otayuri....yea, you CLEARLY can’t do that with JUST a friend (all my school mates must be gay then and me too). I mean, I also like the shipping but only in my fantasy (and don’t demand them to be more than friends just because I want them to).
