No family or a friend would react harshly to what you enjoy in fiction unless they are abusive to you and want to guilt trip you

i was in the community in 2018 and i remember seeing the same exact content like this in 2019-2020 didn’t even know most were darkships or comships

and i remember people would say ship or scroll if you dont like

and creators defending themselves when they use to make gacha ship videos

i’m not a darkshipper but i remember when the gacha community was a ship and let ship community yes some of us may find it cringe but most of us had scrolled

i also find it funny back in 2022-2023?? i was heavily against proshipping while i was in heavily in a community that was a “ship and let ship”

(i still use gacha now)
