Hi, everyone who still follows me and my sporadic activity!

I switched phones and cannot, for the life of me, remember what email I attached this account to. So, for the foreseeable future, looks like this blog is kaput! I'll be making a new one, and following the people I had on here. This is going to stay up for my own personal records--also bc this is the internet, and we're here for forever, baby. It's been wonderful in this corner of the internet, and I'm hoping to have fun in the next one!

I'm not sure what my new username will be just yet. strawberry--sunrise2 would be funny, if it's available. But I also might do something with the name "velvet". I guess I can just reblog this in the future, and we'll find out?

why is religious Christmas imagery all so joyful and pleasant? where is the inherent horror of the birth of Christ? A mother is handed her newborn child, wailing and innocent. It's good and cool to give your characters a single simple, straightforward, non-urgent, super-achievable goal that shouldn't really cost anything or hurt anyone, make that the driving factor for most of their decisions, and then have the Plot do everything in its power to stop them.

So I rewatched Gravity Falls for the first time after going through a rough start this year, and I remembered a short comic I really wanted to do after the series ended. HERE’S THE, UM, PROLOGUE. I GUESS. 

It’s based on the premise that Stan doesn’t immediately remember everything after the end of the show, and the comic will deal with the consequnces of him remembering Bill some years later. I’d like to continue this - it’s pretty much just my own spin on “bill comes back”, because I’m a creature of self-indulgence and you’ll never take me alive, officer.
