Hey there, Lasya! I didn’t see anything in your cards that points specifically to romance, but this next year looks like a big transformative period for you, which is easy enough to guess -- turning 18 and coming into adulthood can be considered a major event. For a lot of us, it's the first time in our lives we're able to make lasting decisions about the paths we want to take, and the first time the effects and consequences of that are ours alone to absorb. Your Clow card and the overall theme for this period is the Snow, which symbolizes new beginnings, peace, and purity. It's a clean slate on which to begin writing your own story.

The Emperor here is in the position of success that will come easily for you. You're ready to write that story and take a more authoritative role in your own life. Certainly none of us are at our absolute wisest at 18, but all things considered, you have (or will gain over the next year) a very clear idea of what you want going forward, and a natural, almost effortless way of translating that into outward actions to achieve your goals. With this card, you're still at just the beginning of your journey, but already you're laying down the groundwork for the empire you'll end up building for yourself.

For success that will come, but only with conscious effort on your part, I drew the World. It is one thing to have big dreams and high expectations -- a good thing! -- but know that even if you fall just a little bit shy of them, you're still further along than you were. Don't rob yourself of that victory with an all-or-nothing attitude.

The Ace of Pentacles here is further advice for achieving the success of the World. It's a reminder that again, you're just at the beginning of your journey, and so much of what you're doing now will take time to pay off. Aces speak of new opportunities and potential, but the suit of Pentacles is one of slow and steady growth, not instant gratification. So don't stress if your life doesn't look exactly the way you envisioned it right out of the gate, there's no rush here, and it will come with time.

In a nutshell, over the next year, you'll find outward success in taking more control of your life and actually making things happen instead of just thinking about doing them, but inner success and satisfaction will come with a shift in perspective, in realizing your outward life doesn't have to immediately be a 100% perfect reflection of your ideals in order for you to be successful. Hi HLO! I hope you won't mind, I recently came into a Clow deck that's begging to be used, so I pulled from that as a sort of oracle card in addition to your 3 tarot cards as a way to sort of pick up on the main theme of the reading and tie it all together.

I went ahead with your first question (since it doesn't specifically ask to delve into K's perspective, it's a-ok by me!) and looking at the cards I pulled for that, I'm picking up a lot of positive energy just starting to develop, either in a fairly new relationship or a new phase in a currently existing one.

Starting with the Daughter of Cups for where you're at currently, I'm seeing that despite the appearance of resting neatly on the surface, there's a lot of paddling going on just out of view, emotion hidden underneath. The call here is for you to find new ways to express these feelings outwardly, in a healthy way, instead of keeping them out of sight. Typically Daughters (or Pages, in traditional tarot terms) in this context would be seen as an encouragement to jump in with both feet; they still have a lot to learn about themselves and the world, and experience is the best teacher here, which you can't get if you don't take action. As such, there's an opportunity hidden in the message of this card: a chance to explore new angles and facets of this relationship and as a result, connect with a previously unknown or overlooked part of yourself.

This is further emphasized by the 3 of Cups. Threes are the number of first moves, and tell me that whatever shape or direction you want this relationship to take, it falls on you to make that happen. If you embrace the Daughter of Cups energy, which admittedly requires risk and vulnerability, this card indicates friendship and emotional support are waiting for you on the other side of that. If you feel like there is something lacking here, one possibility could be that K feels along similar lines about the relationship, and is waiting for you to speak up first and open up a dialogue.

If things progress in this way, you'll arrive at the 4 of Wands, a period of stability where things just seem to sort of click into place. In the process of being open and honest about how you feel, you'll be laying the foundations of something that has the potential to be long-lasting if you want it to be. In the imagery of this card, we see a spark contained by the four wands, concentrated and consciously directed energy, a controlled burn. Now is the time to be deliberate about what you want out of this relationship, fire can only be contained for so long before it burns past the wands holding it in place, and the choices you make now will determine the shape it takes once it breaks loose. To put it another way, right now more than ever, you're the one steering this ship, and it's important to point it in the right direction before the wind catches the sails and takes over, the wind here being outside influences that might make it more difficult to correct course later.

It really all boils down to this question: Would you rather take control and decide what you want at the risk of not getting it, or would you rather let someone or something else choose for you?

For your Clow card, I drew the Power, the keywords for this card being "development" and "a wish fulfilled". I think to sum everything up, and to answer your question in shorter form, I think it's important for you to know that you have more power in the outcome of this relationship than you probably even realize, it's just a matter of reaching out and molding it with your own hands rather than waiting for circumstances to change or develop on their own. Don't count on the universe handing this to you on a silver platter, and I wouldn't hold your breath on K reading your mind and knowing exactly what you want from them -- this one depends on you, but if you can muster up the courage and effort to go after your vision for this relationship, things will most likely work out in your favor.

Hey Teddy! Based on your cards, I'm seeing that you have your own personal struggles that might be holding you back from helping Gene as much as you'd like to, shown by the 5 of Pentacles. The 7 of Pentacles underneath goes further into this, and suggests the root cause might be what's known as compassion fatigue; off these two cards alone, I get the vibe that you have the tendency to place helping others above helping yourself, which is an admirable quality, but you follow it to the point of exhausting yourself, which leads to your feelings of putting up a wall. With the 7 specifically I'm thinking about that old adage, y'know, how some people are flowers and some people are gardeners? The truth is we're all both at different times in our lives, but, at least recently, you seem to be stuck in gardener mode.

Advice comes in the 8 of Swords, which calls for us to lift our own blindfolds; learn to recognize when and where you're overexerting yourself, and consider where you can make time for taking care of you, and where to ask for your own support instead of isolating and trying to fix everything on your own. Going back to the 7, we see this dude working hard on his garden, admiring it but not reaping the fruits of that labor. You gotta pick some of that fruit, which is to say I'm seeing that you have people and things around you that you've built up into what could be a very rich support network, but you're not reaching out because in your mind, you're the one that helps, not asks for help.

Which isn't to say stop trying to help people, or to withdraw support from Gene, but you need to make sure you're not neglecting your own needs. A metaphor for this I heard once is that on airplanes, they instruct you in case of emergency to secure your own oxygen mask before helping someone else with theirs. You have to be able to breathe on your own, or you'll pass out trying to help others.

The Ace of Pentacles here would be the outcome card, which forecasts a new sense of health, both on a personal and relationship level. The better shape you're in personally, the better able you are to help Gene, without walls.

To sum it all up, I would suggest asking yourself in what ways you're not looking after your own care, mental and physical. Sleep, stay hydrated, etc, but also give yourself permission to take a break sometimes from worrying about others. Give your batteries space to recharge, and only then will you be in a place to work on your relationship with Gene to the best of your ability.

Hi A.N., Your cards look positive in this regard! The Queen of Wands represents a vibrancy that draws other people in, and I have a feeling that you might've already caught someone's attention, or will very soon. The advice the Queen gives with that is to embrace your true self, all your quirks and passions, and express it outwards instead of holding it in or putting up a front for the sake of having a wider appeal. Sometimes we tone ourselves down for others because we don't want to seem too much of anything; too excitable, too annoying, etc, but if you want to attract someone that likes you for you, the whole you, then you have to muster up the courage be your whole self first.

The 10 of Wands here further implies a new potential relationship on the horizon, though it will require effort on your part. Tying it in to the Queen's message to be yourself, if you want to meet someone you vibe with, you have to take the risk of putting yourself out there. More specifically, I think this card is telling me that if this is something you want, you're probably going to have to make the first move, but there's a high chance of it paying off in the near future.

To answer your question in a nutshell, I think if you want to get into a relationship soon, external conditions look very favorable, but it won't be someone unexpected that just falls in your lap or that you happen to meet by chance -- you'll have to put in the work to make it happen.

Hi D! The cards are showing me a bit of imbalance and disharmony in this relationship. SJ here is represented by the Page of Swords, while you're the 2 of Pentacles reversed, showing your reservations about the dynamic, your goals and what you want out of the relationship, torn between the choice of staying or going, where SJ  (at least appears on the surface) to be a little more sure of themselves and their ideas. This seems to be the main cause of the off-again-on-again pattern you have going on; when it comes to a difference in opinion, your uncertainty about what you want out of this, when they're so sure they're right, usually leaves you feeling like you're on the losing side. There's a lack of compromise or meeting each other halfway, shown by the 5 of Swords.

Not that it's all bad. The 10 of Pentacles suggests you've built a lot of good things from the ground up since knowing each other, and there's a sense of comfort and stability born out of familiarity with that. However, tens generally signify completion and the end of a cycle, along with this card reversed tells me those good things are more in the past than in the present. Holding onto the idea of them is part of whats clouding your judgment and making you unsure, shown by the reversed Moon next to it.
