There's a lot of footage, bloopers, and photos underway. 👍

All of Orlok's stuff was shot, so that's a relief. Usually I could shoot everything in one night but dealing with my fatigue and general ineptitude after being away from this costume so long, it took a while to get my shots. I would say about 70% of the material is done, and I will need another night to shoot everything else that has me in it. 

As always, he is a pleasure and a source of immediate comedy. Just ogling at myself in the viewfinder with my mouth agape tends to make me laugh.

It's interesting how much I have changed since the time when most of the past videos were shot, but how little he has changed. A theme of this upcoming story is that Orlok fails to understand change: he's at a standstill, in an echo chamber, existing with all his perspective on how things work frozen in time since he was turned. With him, there really is such thing as inevitability: nothing can or will ever throw him off his track in the long run. And his track is going in a loop. Lol

It would have been cool to do it this weekend but ironically I had my blood drawn for some tests and it made me completely useless these past two days. I really empathized with Ellen there for a moment

I took this photo the other day when testing out the focus on my new camera, and it reminded me of a certain photo of Max Schreck. It probably does not come as a surprise that a few people make comparisons between us when they see that I don’t wear a mask for the cosplay (that was a question I got about him when he showed up in my final film project at university! “Who’s the guy in the mask?” 

Only my mom knew it was me without asking, because “that vampire looks like you. Sorry. You’re my daughter - you can put as much on your face as you want and I could still spot you!” xD

I’m so sorry I’ve been leaving this blog hanging. Some other projects have captured my heart, and I just went with it. I do want Nosferatu to come back under the spotlight eventually, though.

Well that is very nice of you to say! Orlok went missing for months, and then I saw a rat run by, and I’ve been smelling dirt whenever I close my eyes, so I think he may have come back. I will definitely tell him there are people inside the “glowing book” (aka my laptop) that say hello. :)
