April Fools Day 2025 Superhero au lore head cannons: Fussy Eaters

CW: mentioned cannibalism and human experimentation. please keep yourself safe.

Fussy Eaters: A group of experiments with bottomless appetites that escaped and swore to consume the whole world to sate their hunger. The only reason they haven’t yet is because they’re picky.

Kanade Yoisaki(Instant Boss): the one who organized the fussy eaters into a group that could actually achieve their goals. She signed up for the experiments to pay for her father’s medical bills and ended up being forced to consume him by the scientists. She swore that she would never let herself or any other picky eater consume humans again. Lives as a hikikomori to stop herself from eating people and posts music under the name K online. She relegates herself to only eating instant ramen. 

Ichika Hoshino(bread eater): Ichika is the Fussy eater who struggles the most with her hunger. She is prone to fits of violence to try and sate her hunger but hates the taste of humans. She can only tolerate the taste of bread. She plays the guitar out in public to find her missing childhood friends. Though she has a large amount of respect for Kanade, the two often end up butting heads because of their hunger. 

Rui Kamishiro(Death Vegetable): the oldest experiment consumed with thoughts of vengeance. He can’t stand the texture of vegetables and has very little qualms about eating meat. He became an Indie film director and used that as a cover to hunt people. He’s currently in maximum security prison after being caught by the cops during a robbery.

N25 Rin Kagamine(Picky): the youngest member of the Fussy Eaters and the person who pushes to eat the world the hardest. She’s the group’s operational leader and takes charge of their crimes. She can barely eat anything other than people. She’s been working on freeing Rui against Kanade’s wishes.

I took heavy inspiration from Evil Food Eater Conchita and Tokyo Ghoul for this group

from here on out, they'll be called the "Picky Eaters" for my own sanity

I like the idea that they use Kanade's apartment as their base of operations.
