Simblreen Treat #5

Because I'm late and definitely did not spend this day rushing to make a treat before midnight. But obviously that means no time for porchlights, so here's the public release. I had this on the list of "weird basegame things I may or may not do someday", and seeing as it was the one I could realistically cram in a day, here it is.

What does this do? It gives your Sims a way to obtain the 5 cheaper reward store traits (Always Welcome, Gym Rat, Observant, Speed Cleaner, & Inspired Explorer) through gameplay. I'm of the sort who prefers traits being obtained intuitively and/or through gameplay rather than via a currency, so this seemed like the best way to go about it.

If I have more time, I might add all basegame reward store traits to this, not sure yet. Also honestly depends on whether y'all think this was a good idea because I'm not even sure if it was a good idea and I am a clown who created this treat at the last possible moment.

The second weekend (28th - 30th October) is finally here! Here’s your chance to find my treats if you haven’t last weekend! The treats are the same as last weekend!

4 ghosts are roaming around my page, guarding the treats! (3 main treats and 1 bonus treat I hid before the event) They will stay there for all three days constantly! If you hunt down the ghosts they will reward you with a yummy treat! 🍬 Need a hint?

If you are unable to participate in the event, no worries, I will release everything after the event ends! 🎃

This year I also decided to take part in Simblreen. I changed the format of the event in comparison with the last year, making work on the bugs, so this year everyone will be able to find gifts on my blog. Thanks @trillyke for allowing me to use her idea!

All you need is a little patience and look for gifts yourself on my blog or in the tabs and buttons. You need to find a pumpkin 🎃 and click on it, then you will find yourself in a secret place with a treat! Every day of the event there will be two pumpkins hiding in different places with treats that will be active for 24 hours. The next day, two new pumpkins will be hidden in a different place. Use the desktop tumblr, not a mobile version.

Weekend 1: October 21: two 🎃 hiding around my page (gift #1-2) October 22: two 🎃 hiding around my page (gift #3-4) October 23: two 🎃 hiding around my page (gift #5-6)

Weekend 2: October 28-30: all previous pumpkins are hidden around my page at the same time through the whole weekend, try to find them all!

When the event starts and the pumpkins are ready for you to find them, I will announce this in a separate post "The hunt has begun".

❗All treats will be released to the public after the event. Please do not share links to hidden treats, they will still be posted after the event.
