I love Rogue One for many reasons, but a high ranking one is definitely this scene. Equal parts poetic and just hilarious.

This guy dedicated so much time, resources and suffering into this death machine, only for it to kill him so indifferently.

Doesn't matter that he was a high ranking loyal imperial.

Died the same as all those rebels it was designed to punish.

Reminds me of the "hurting the wrong people'' phrase. If you design something that's meant to bring mass suffering and death, don't be surprised when it does exactly that I guess.

But it's also bloody hilarious, because after the constant bickering between Tarkin and Krenic, it's hilarious to think Tarkin targeted him specifically. The laser CLEARLY hits the top of the tower where Krennic is first. When you have a weapon with the blast radius of a nuke, you don't need to aim that precisely. BUT HE DID.

Like, he whipped out Find My iPhone and punched the exact coordinates for Krennics Apple Watch into the Death Star targeting system. AND has taken full credit for the Krennic's project.

I love the characterisation of Luffy and Boa here.

I’d have to say this is pretty close to my ideal relationship between these two characters.

I really like the idea Boa’s infatuation is more childlike and innocent. It’s all those bottled up feelings from her childhood, that she didn’t get feel back then, finally catching up to her.

Also, is Luffy trying to dodge marriage because he’s aro/ace, or just trying to get out of responsibility/ having to share his food lol. I can see both with him honestly.

How funny that she never considered that.

I imagine Gangle has some strong feelings about Jax and his bullying, feels only fitting that she’d make some vent art.

I also just love how much of a anime nerd she is.

And the attention to detail on the bizarre scaling of the world.

This is probably one of the most infuriating comics I have ever done. I had to go for a more "sketchy" style since doing all the slides in my usual super-clean-line art style would have taken a lot of time. I also did the colors very opaque to give a more serious tone.

Note: if you pay attention to the scale of the room and everything on it, you'll see that it is HUGE. Made on purpose to try to be consistent with the atmosphere of the show. I also did the plushies and figures kind of inaccurate to show how she may not remember quite well how the actual characters looked like.

Someone ask @gooseworx if this was out of character for Jax or if he legit would do that lmao.
