i haven’t seen too many posts about this but i loved the Kal and Leshwi interactions throughout the series so far! i hope they at least become friends bc i dig the mutual respect and compassion they share

One of my very favorite Kaladin lines is in Chapter 39 of Oathbringer when he and Jasnah are arguing about fighting the parshmen. Dalinar tries to calm them both down and says that, unfortunately, wars always end up hurting some people on both sides who don't even want to fight, "nothing new."

And then comes the line!

"Maybe," Kaladin said, "that should make you reconsider those other wars, rather than using them to justify this one."

He said that. To Dalinar Kholin! And other assorted Kholins!

The first time I got to this part, I had to pause for a minute to absorb the awesomeness. If only Kaladin's dad could have seen him in that moment.

Their Favourite series was Warbreaker so I tried my hand at a Poster featuring the sisters in a bit more of an Art Nouveau Style. Some poor soul asked about queer characters in the cosmere and there were many people who Did Not Like This.

we all know the Kal and Moash contrasts through and through but i personally love the Szeth/Moash contrasts. Szeth’s all white outift and outlook versus Moash’s all black worldview and uniform really exemplifies just how different their attitudes are to killing. Szeth views it as a burden and feels the shame is his rightful punishment, while Moash takes any chance he gets to offload his feelings just so he can kill mercilessly and thoughtlessly.

The spades suit for the Stormlight Archive card deck. House Kholin represent! It took me a few tries to really nail down Adolin, but I’m happy with how he turned out. Can’t wait to actually hold one of these in real life!
