matthewmorgenstern:
The ‘honey’ was enough to throw Matt’s focus off for a moment, it made his cheeks go even brighter red and he had to clear his throat to buy a little bit of time to regain his composure. Bad enough he had fucked up by whipping out his mother’s Yiddish terms of endearment, but he was honey now? Matt’s eyes widened as he processed that and tried to follow what she had been saying about this top secret time travelling operation. He had, theoretically, been told, but when things were clearly outside of his wheelhouse Matt had an unfortunate tendency to zone out a tad. A lot. Maybe. “Well thank god for that, because I sure as hell don’t. Elisabeth. Els. I don’t remember anything about ‘hey, we might all get sent five years in the future. The whole city, it looks like, including Matty and…” A thought struck him then and his mouth fell open ahead of him having any words to fill it with. It took a solid thirty seconds for him to find them, in which he also noticed that people were passing by the office with varying levels of concern wafting after them like perfume. Not unimportant, but not as important as this. “Els, where is Genevieve? Have you seen her? Is she safe?” Matt asked hurriedly, all pretenses of respecting hypothetical lines between their relationships in the present day gone to hell in a hand basket. The sort of hand basket where he took her hands in his own and looked down at her earnestly, trying to mask just how deeply rooted that worry was on a day to day basis. He’d seen Matty, he’d spoken to Matty, he’d passed half a dozen coworkers, but no Jenny. “You’re the smartest person I know. I trust you, but is she okay? Are you okay? Please don’t ask me if I’m okay, I’m a shit liar.”
The endearing terms were new. New to them, at least, though it seemed that no one else thought anything of their Commander throwing them around toward anyone other than her daughter like they were a regular part of her vocabulary. Which...it seemed they were now, and to Matt. Elisabeth was still processing that, and all the implications that the rings on their fingers meant to them in this time. Now wasn’t the time for that though, not when she was still figuring out everything else about the year they’d been pulled into, and not when other people who thought this was just a normal day were passing by her office, unable to help but peer in on whatever it was she and Matt were doing.
Elisabeth bristled just slightly at her full name, a little more static sparking off of her fingertips in a reaction that obviously hadn’t changed in the future. “Yeah well, none of us anticipated that we would all get sent into the future, or I might have brought it up. The R&D team assigned for the mission ran all of the tests, the risk was so low that is was practically negligible.” Except for some outlying reason, that negligible risk ended up being the result.
One brow went up when Matt went oddly silent and his mouth dropped open, though the other soon joined it as he took her hands in his and looked at her with barely leashed concern. And Elisabeth was well aware of the nosy employees passing by her office, some lingering longer than they should — Matt could feel their emotions directly, but for Ellie their curiosity and concern drifted to her on the air like extra charged particles. So she did what she knew would really throw him and stave off that panic from overflowing, what had always worked before. She closed the distance between their faces and pulled him into a kiss, going as far as freeing one of her hands to place it on his cheek.
There was the added benefit of earning their privacy back too, as those nosy employees scrambled to keep from actually getting caught snooping. “Jenny’s fine,” she assured him. “She went out of town before we performed the time travel, so it doesn’t seem like she was affected.” In fact it seemed she was out of town in this time, too. Which was most likely a good thing. “I’m fine too.” Even though she was being pulled on and attacked on all side by people pushing for her to do something about H.A.M.E.R. for good in this future. “I’m not going to ask if you’re okay, I know you way too well. We’re already working on a solution to this mess. The faster the team figures out exactly what went wrong, the faster we can get everyone back to our right time.”

Elisabeth didn’t remember going to bed. What did remember was standing on the observation deck of one of the training rooms, watching to make sure everything went right with the time travelling experiment. She remembered the chaos in the moment that the Chronokinetic Metahuman had realized something was wrong, that they were being overwhelmed right before it all went to shit. And then she’d woken up in her bed, at home. Nothing had seemed terribly out of the ordinary either, which had been so far so good...until she’d spotted the ring on her left hand. Where there most definitely had not been one the day before.
When...had they gotten married? Because, despite her best intentions not to, there was only one person she could think of that she could’ve let put the band around her finger.
Though she’d always been an early riser for work she had woken up much earlier than usual, and with that first shock there had been no chance of getting back to sleep. So Ellie had spent the extra time going through her home to find whatever else was different, before heading back to the office. Which had also looked mostly the same, until she’d gotten inside to find some differences, and then reached her office.
It was her office, all right, but before she had been able to stop herself she had asked a passing campus staff to confirm. She wasn’t going to forget the odd look they’d given her anytime soon.
At least by the time the rest of C.A.R.M.A. was awake and into the day, she had put together enough to figure out the when of this situation, and determine through some subtle questioning that it wasn’t just those of them who had been in the training room that were affected — it had been the whole damn city, it seemed.
It was well safe to say then that she was very much distracted — attributing it to the stress of the latest video conference with the Pentagon, whenever anyone asked her — and not overreacting when she jumped at the hand that settled onto her shoulder and ushered her into her office, only to just barely keep from shocking Matt. Matt. “Oh thank God.” It was murmured out of relief when she caught on to what he was going on about, but then it hit her: she didn’t tell him that they were doing the time travel exercise yesterday. Shit.
At her thought the lights to her office flicked on, showing the walls were indeed barren of any switches, which she hardly noticed now as she held her hands up as if in a peace offering. “Matt, honey, it’s alright.” She paused, sticking on the word, and realizing the term of endearment he’d also used, and had to push through her own flushing skin. “I do know what’s going on, actually. At least for the most part.” A lot of from yesterday to now...2051...was still a bit of a question mark. “Do you remember that time travelling operation I told you about, that I said was to be kept between you, me, and those involved in the operation? Well, we did it. And it worked, a little too well it would seem.”
@storiesof-mnemosyne
It was the ring that had tipped him off first, then the yoga clothes and a shoulder brace that he didn’t remember needing. The morning had only gotten weirder as he moved through his condo, and bumping into his niece in the hall had resulted in a solid hour of exploration to figure out just what they were doing five years in the future. Well, what they had done. The why was still entirely outside of his understanding, but a string of text messages at least had the decency of telling him he was needed at work. So he dressed, in clothes he didn’t quite remember, and he foundered around clearly renovated halls at work until he found Elisabeth. Whom he had married, apparently. Matt wasn’t sure what to do with that information but blush a little and clear his throat. Pray this wasn’t just one giant wish fulfillment exercise for wishes he didn’t admit to having. “Just me! No zapping, Ellie. Shit.” He said quickly, laying a hand on her shoulder. “I don’t know what the fuck is going on here, but you’ve always been smarter than I am, so I thought maybe we should uh…” A group of trainees was squinting at them both from down the hall and Matt ushered her into the closest office, thankfully her own though it looked vastly different. No light switches, or at least things he could identify as light switches, and he spent a solid minute looking before giving up and turning to her. “Elisabeth, ahuvi, I don’t know what the fuck this is but apparently we got married?” A blush colored his cheeks and he hated himself for it. “Which I mean, um, you could do better probably but not the operative point. Do you know what’s happening?”

FUTURE EVENT BIO: AVALON NIGHTINGALE
Age: 33 Status: Alive / Metahuman Affiliation: Civilian (Former Nephilim)
Avalon split from the Nephilim alongside Jaden and Scarlett within the year after the faction reformed, and in a rather explosive and dramatic split on her end, no doubt — but could anyone have expected different from Wrath? If she had any doubts prior to their humiliating defeat nearly eight years ago, she definitely had them afterward and still harbors great loathing for the former leader for the events that brought about her (temporary) death, Jaden's imprisonment and the Nephilim's individual suffering.
A deal was struck between the girls and Commander Sinclair, twisting the parameters of their involvement with the Nephilim and exchanging their continued help for their freedom. So long as they keep out of trouble, they have been free to do as they please.
The three started up a private detective and crime consulting agency together, in order to remain privy to all of the goings-on (both known and under-the-table / seedy) in Pansaw and to uphold their own image. Ava utilizes her abilities as well as her technological prowess to great effect with various odd jobs and cases, acting as a literal eye in the sky and everywhere else.
While she remains very independent as far as affiliating with any one faction, being loyal only to Jaden and Scarlett, Ava has been more involved with cases and leads related to H.A.M.E.R. be in directly or indirectly. She will assist C.A.R.M.A., the Hero Squad, and the Rebels fairly readily where needed on missions or in general, claiming a desire to see the end of the anti-Metahuman extremist group out of pride in being a Metahuman herself and wanting to keep Pansaw and the world safe for Metahumans and humans alike. Which is true, for herself and Metahumans at least.
Though no longer part of the Nephilim, she still remains in contact with some of its members and her former allies, mostly Mari.

FUTURE EVENT BIO: FELICITY LOCKHART
Age: 32 Status: Alive / Metahuman Affiliation: Hero Squad (“Nebula”)
Felicity earned tenure with Pansaw University and became one of their top professors in the College of Sciences and Medicine.
She continued teaching and working at Knight Life in the evenings and on weekends, and maintained her vigilante persona Nebula and has remained an active vigilante and member of the Hero Squad.
As H.A.M.E.R.'s activities started to rise Felicity found it increasingly difficult to maintain teaching, working with Hope at Knight Life, and vigilantism. Not to mention it put her in a precarious and frankly dangerous position, should her carefully maintained secret identity be compromised between the three obligations. She went on an ~~indefinite~~ extended sabbatical from the university a little over two years ago so that she could better focus on working with C.A.R.M.A. and the Rebel Army as Nebula, not Felicity.
Having always been financially responsible and more of a saver than a spender, Fel had enough put back to enable her to maintain her lifestyle enough, though she still continued working at Knight Life with some of the other Heroes. She took on more of the financial responsibilities and helps more with the distillery than any front-of house and bartending that she used to do; Felicity Lockhart, after all, is out of the country for travel and continued study as far as the world knows.

FUTURE EVENT BIO: BRIDGETTE O’HARA
Age: 32 Status: Alive / Metahuman Affiliation: C.A.R.M.A. / Rebel Army Allied
Bridgette has committed herself fully to C.A.R.M.A.'s Research & Development division, putting her education and her skill with technology to use. She constantly maintains and upgrades C.A.R.M.A.'s many softwares, programs, and security/surveillance systems with the help of her Techno-Empathy, and unofficially leads the group of white-hat hackers C.A.R.M.A. employs for these very purposes. In the last few years she worked with Alice Rybak, helping out at the former Rebel Leader's shop and also working together to develop an extensive AI surveillance program that C.A.R.M.A., law enforcement and emergency services use — they named the AI Oracle.
When H.A.M.E.R.'s threat to Metahumans prompted the Rebel Army to come together again Bridgette did not return to them. Rather she remained with C.A.R.M.A. but is still heavily allied with the Rebels, and involves herself however she can in operations the two organizations partner up on. She otherwise is constantly working to pin down and hack into H.A.M.E.R.'s online presence and any accounts and systems set ups they may use in order to exploit the information at the advantage to C.A.R.M.A., the Rebel Army, Hero Squad, and any active vigilante cells.

FUTURE EVENT BIO: SAMARA RHODES
Age: 40 Status: Alive / Super Soldier Affiliation: C.A.R.M.A.
Little about Samara's life has changed. She is still a senior-ranking agent with C.A.R.M.A. and leads the Assassin/Sniper Squad, but when H.A.M.E.R. really blew up in numbers and threat she took on more and began heavily coordinating her teams with the Covert Ops division. Her years of experience as a Navy SEAL have always given her an advantage, but she has been utilizing all of her previous training when it comes to leading strike teams and planning any necessary black ops C.A.R.M.A. requires.
Three years ago, her service dog Beauregard retired and became her official companion while Samara worked with C.A.R.M.A. and Pansaw's VA to train a new service dog. On their way home from the park one evening Sam was ambushed by four H.A.M.E.R. recruits; early on in the skirmish Beauregard took a bullet intended for her, and she was forced to dispatch (nicely and simply put) the individuals before rushing him to emergency care. Beauregard did not survive the night, and her new service dog had to advance into his full job early. On top of the main reasons for the war on H.A.M.E.R., Samara has harbored a vendetta against them for the death of her dog and is even more motivated to wipe them out.

FUTURE EVENT BIO: ELISABETH SINCLAIR
Age: 45 Status: Alive / Metahuman Affiliation: C.A.R.M.A. (Commander)
Other than the increasing conflict between H.A.M.E.R. and C.A.R.M.A, the past five years have been fairly good to Elisabeth Sinclair. She remains the stalwart Commander of C.A.R.M.A., and has regained finer control over her powers after the continued years of training. As H.A.M.E.R. became a greater threat, she certainly couldn't have her abilities fighting her for control still.
She and Matt decided to try again and fully committed to a relationship together. They got engaged, and eventually married in 2048. By the time they tied the knot the war against HAMER was already escalating, so they opted for a small, short ceremony and agreed to do something bigger and nicer once things were better again.
As H.A.M.E.R. has continued to spread across the U.S. and started to infiltrate Ellie has become increasingly frustrated and stressed in turn, due not only to H.A.M.E.R. but to the increased pressure that the U.S. government has been putting on C.A.R.M.A. to get control of the situation and put a stop to them for good. The fact that they are all starting to be pressured by the U.N. and other countries is not helping matters.
On top of the seen war with H.A.M.E.R., she has been trying to weed out the double agents that she is certain are working for H.A.M.E.R. and have been working within C.A.R.M.A. who knows how long. And it’s easier said than done, she knows form past experience. H.A.M.E.R. may have gotten into the government too, but so far the C.A.R.M.A. division at the Pentagon remains uncompromised and Elisabeth intends to keep it that way, even all the way from Pansaw. Never mind that she has enough on her plate with just Pansaw.

FUTURE EVENT BIO: DEIDRA VALENTINE
Age: 38 Status: Alive / Metahuman Affiliation: Rebel Army / C.A.R.M.A. Allied
Much of her life has remained the same in the last five years. She is still CEO of LaReaux Industries, still the biggest international tech conglomerate though she took to dabbling in weapons tech again. She is determined to eradicate H.A.M.E.R. and to pour all of her resources, time and energy into defeating them, in order to make the world safe again for herself and other Metahumans — including her children.
She and Kaden started a family of their own; they have a two year old daughter named Erin, and another child on the way. Erin has already exhibited signs that she has taken after her mother as a Metahuman, much to Deidra’s and Kaden’s elation and worry.
As H.A.M.E.R. grew in power and notoriety, Dee came together with Alice and Kara to secretly reinstate the Rebel Army. While she primarily focuses on leading the Rebels she remains firmly allied with C.A.R.M.A. as well.
She reopened the weapons tech contracts that she’d previously closed with C.A.R.M.A., partnering with them and with Kara and Warzone to provide not only advanced high tech to combat H.A.M.E.R., but weapons again as well. She has invented and patented some of her own ideas and brought them to life with Alice’s guidance for C.A.R.M.A.’s use; since she is pregnant and can’t be out in the field like she once could be, this has been the next best thing. If all else fails though, she won’t hesitate to take to the field as a last resort.
She nearly lost her mind when Kaden was attacked and “cured” on a field mission against H.A.M.E.R., and even though they discovered the cure does not work on Super Soldiers she still would not let her husband out of her sight for a solid week.

Between two of her best agents still being missing, the media stirring the pot as they so often liked to do, and both the police department and members of the board along with other individuals back in D.C. pestering her for updates and answers that she simply did not have to give, Elisabeth had felt her patience to be razor thin before she even followed Matt into the elevator. The plan had been to get out of her office, at least for a little while, before continuing to deal with this mess. That she ended up sharing the ride with her ex felt coincidental and the time and a cruel irony now.
“No, if you had been paying some attention I wouldn’t have had to resort to demanding it,” she started with a pointed wiggle of her fingers, “and you would know that I was trying to ask you a question.” Not that that question mattered when the elevator bucked and then shuddered to a halt, sending both of them sprawling and a couple of more sparks flying when she hit the floor, along with the gust of wind that was her breath getting knocked out of her for a second.
She’d already gotten her feet back under her and was about to get up when he offered her a hand, which she took despite her brief hesitation and staring at it just a second longer than intended. Although with his next comment she already regretted it a little — and maybe regretted not being a little more forceful in the voltage she had popped him with. “I may not have the best control right now, but my skill with electricity hasn’t changed.” Her tone was a little more miffed and tight than she wanted, and to prove her point she killed the electricity buzzing through the overhead lights in the elevator; she would turn them back on in a minute. “And I too have places to be, so forgive me for not being so sympathetic. I’m sure maintenance is already on it.”
@storiesof-mnemosyne
“God, this is because I skipped the orientation for new employees, isn’t it? I don’t need a sticker and a cubicle buddy for a day, Ellie.” Matt said, rubbing the shoulder that his ex had zapped when he hadn’t responded the first few times to her conversation in their shared elevator. His earbuds he had pulled out a moment before with a yelp, the static electricity giving his ears a solid jolt before he could remove them. She didn’t look thrilled with him, but did she ever? On the whole he tried to stay out of her way, unless circumstances required they both be in the same meetings and then he aimed for ‘detached professional’. He opened his mouth to say something else on his mind when the elevator came to a shuddering stop midway between floors and knocked them both to the ground. “Really? Now seems like a good time for you to fuck up, elevator?” He spat, pulling himself to his feet. It was impolite not to offer her a hand up, but he steeled himself against the rush of emotions that came with touch and offered it anyway. Begrudgingly. “I have a meeting at four thirty, Elisabeth. You sure that your little light show isn’t what’s stranded us here?”

Bridgette O’Hara • 27 • Female (she/her) • Metahuman • Omni-Empathy • C.A.R.M.A • Research & Development
BIOGRAPHY
As the younger of the two O’Hara children, Bridgette has never wanted for anything. Though her family never has been overly wealthy — her grandparents having moved from Ireland in their youths to start new lives and a family of their own — her parents always worked hard to make sure they lived comfortably and she and her brother got what they needed. Their goal always was for Bridgette and Teagan to have an even better future than what their parents had given them.
What no one ever knew was how wealthy the family actually was, or even how they accumulated that wealth. The Metahuman gene always ran strong within the O’Hara’s, and this was no exception with Bridgette and her immediate family. Though they relied mostly on the hard work of her parents, Bridgette’s father also utilized his power of Game Manipulation and Business Intuition to work the Stock Market; he was always careful, playing smart and legal. Bridgette’s parents were as practical as they were crafty, as they lived well under their means and made sure that Bridgette and Teagan never became overly spoiled, at least in the materialistic sense.
Rather, Bridgette was spoiled with the amount of attention she received; her parents and especially her grandparents doted on her, which in turn might have influenced how her own empathic abilities manifested once she came of age. This caused a rift between Bridgette and Teagan despite her best efforts, given how independent Teagan was compared to his younger sister and how much their family expected of him when they seemed to treat Bridgette differently, always encouraging her to try new things and explore her skills and abilities freely. He blamed her for the misfortune that nearly cost the family their lives.
Because no matter how careful they were, how normally they tried to live, C.A.R.M.A. still somehow discovered them. They came late in the evening around dinner, forcing the family to flee while Bridgette’s grandparents kept the agents from pursuing; they didn’t make it, and Teagan never forgave Bridgette for it. They moved west, promised shelter and assistance by a family friend who had moved out to Pansaw, California years before.
About a year later Bridgette began hearing rumors passed among her classmates and other college students of a group of Metahumans lurking in the shadows of the city, opposing what some people thought to be a now corrupted C.A.R.M.A.. Against her parents’ will she started seeking them out, even going as far as to hack computer databases and even the city’s surveillance systems in her many attempts to find the elusive Metahuman group or anyone she thought might lead her to them. Through her stubborn will she managed to track someone down who got her in touch with the group. To say Manny recruited her would not have been the exact truth, given that she insisted on joining their cause the moment he confirmed his affiliation with the Metahuman army.
When the Nephilim laid siege to Pansaw Bridgette started out providing surveillance and support from the computer room with Baymax and Alice’s other bots, but when the Rebels and C.A.R.M.A. joined forces to combat the Nephilim together she eventually took to the streets herself with burgeoning power and what combat training she had. In the aftermath of the battle and the destruction she lent her powers and her technological expertise to C.A.R.M.A. and the city, and eventually accepted an offer to come on to C.A.R.M.A.’s research team once the alliance between the organization and the Rebel Army was solidified and the new Metahuman Rights Act passed. In the years since she has been helping to rebuild and maintain C.A.R.M.A.’s cyber systems and security, assisting with the development of new programs, software and technology, and serving part-time as a (unorthodox) counselor when needed. And when she isn’t at work she can often be found at Alice’s shop helping her out and otherwise providing her services there.
With the events of the Madhouse Tournament and H.A.M.E.R. making themselves known to Pansaw and the world though, Bridgette is on high alert, and has picked up extra combat training with the agents. If history is going to take on a new face and try to repeat itself, she is going to be more prepared than the first time.
POWERS
OMNI-EMPATHY: Also known as Panempathy, Bridgette is a highly-advanced Empath with the ability to sense and feel a supposed infinite number of emotions across the earth, potentially farther. She has all of her abilities, which have expanded and evolved beyond what they were previously even into offshoot abilities, and has even gained some new subpowers. She can attack someone in a personal and emotional way, since she knows exactly what emotion is flowing through someone else, and can use this knowledge to play against others. She is also capable of reading emotional imprints left in the environment or on objects. She is capable of manipulating the emotions of others by overwhelming a victim with emotions, suppressing the emotions of herself and others, and sharing them. She can also extend her empathic power over Pansaw, maybe farther, and to those she has an emotional link or bond with.
WEAKNESSES
Bridgette cannot turn her ability off, even if she can learn to mitigate its effects, and the constant mental strain can have effects on her physiology if she is not careful. She is more susceptible to mental breakdowns, and requires pacing and proper concentration to off-set those breakdowns. It is still possible, sometimes more so now, for Bridgette to be overcome by others’ emotions and to act on them. May experience headaches often. She cannot handle large amounts of emotions at once as it can become overwhelming. Defenseless against beings that have no emotions, such as robots or users of Apathy. Bridgette can not heal physical wounds, she can only take away physical pain. The stronger an emotion is that someone feels, the more intense it can become for Bridgette. Empathic Healing requires physical contact. She can detect and receive emotions from others for sure citywide and possibly much farther, but she can still only hit a target with Empathic Inundation within her field of vision, and it only works on one target at a time. When creating empathic illusions, if she is not focused or becomes distracted and emotionally unstable the illusion may not manifest clearly, or may become distorted and fail. Users of Psychic Shield or have Psychic Immunity are resistant and impervious respectively to Bridgette’s abilities and can block Empathic Inundation and her other abilities.

Avalon: 🎥 Deidra: 💫 Elisabeth: 🌿 Felicity: ❄️ Samara: 🦃
Avalon 🎥 : What are your muse’s favourite Christmas movies?
Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. That she feels a kind of kinship toward Kevin McCallister is irrelevant.
Deidra 💫 : If your muse has powers, do they utilize these abilities into the festive season? How?
Two words: crystal ornaments. Dee has always loves creating things using her powers, and her favorite thing to do around the holidays is make ornaments and other decorations with her powers. And when she makes them, they are as invulnerable as she can be and therefore won’t shatter when they are inevitably dropped while decorating.
Elisabeth 🌿 : How do they feel about Mistletoe? Have they ever used it / had it used on them?
Already answered: see here!
Felicity ❄️ : How does your muse fare in a snowball fight?
Surprisingly enough Felicity can handle her own in a snowball fight, though she’s really only experienced a real snow a few rare times in her life (including the Pansaw Blizzard of 2042). She utilizes a lot of her portal ability and gravity manipulation to help her out. She most likely won’t come out the victor though.
Samara 🦃 : What does their Christmas dinner look like? Is it a huge feast? Something small? Or do they maybe settle for takeout?
Samara’s Christmas dinner is always spent with her sizeable immediate family and any extended family whom are able to make it. It’s a big enough to-do, nothing extravagant and meticulously scheduled, just about what every normal family puts on. And since she isn’t the best at cooking in her family, she usually ends up supplying the drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and a dessert.

Felicity: 💫⛰
💫 : If your muse has powers, do they utilize these abilities into the festive season? How?
Felicity tries not to use her abilities frivolously or in excess (though she isn’t always successful at being so strict with herself), but during the holidays she does like to be a little more lenient. Her favorite thing to do using her comic powers is creating small stars to use as ornaments or string lights, since she can make them small enough and safe to decorate her home with.
⛰ : Have any pivotal events of their life happened at Christmas? A significant memory that’s stuck with them forever?
Felicity has never had anything big really happen in her life during Christmas, for which she is thankful for. Some of her most favorite memories are all Christmas memories, and always involve being with her family and (especially these last few years) with her friends.

Deidra: 💸✨
💸 : Are they generous with gifts? Do they try to get gifts for everybody or the select people they care about?
Deidra has always been a generous person when it comes to money, and during the holidays she is no different. An argument could be made that she is even more generous than normal. She always ends up trying to get everyone she knows something, even if it’s a little something; for her employees it’s almost always a bonus, along with a gift card for a preferred service or shopping place. For friends and family though her gifts are always a lot more personal, and she has no limit on expense. She will settle for no less than the best for those she cares about, and that includes their Christmas gifts.
✨ : Do they go crazy with Christmas decorations or are they more for a lowkey kinda Christmas?
Even saying Deidra is ‘extra’ when it comes to Christmas decorations would be a bit of an understatement. She goes all out, and she loves every second of it. It’s at the point where she hires a decorator to help her with decorations around the house, and they get together to start planning months in advance. It’s almost like a tradition in and of itself, one that her grandmother started and her mother carried on, and still puts on every year. She and Dee work together every year now to do the decorations for both the LaReaux estate and Dee’s place. This will be the first year that Dee gets to decorate hers and Kaden’s new home.

Elisabeth: 🌿💁
🌿 : How do they feel about Mistletoe? Have they ever used it / had it used on them?
Ellie personally has no opinion regarding Mistletoe, though she will tell you all about the origins of the kissing tradition associated with it. Suffice it to say she is kind of indifferent, though she always cleverly happens to avoid it during the holidays. While she’s never used it herself, she has actually had it used on her when she was younger (by her father’s daughter, of course), though there has not been any situation with it since.
💁 : Would your muse work on Christmas if they had the option to?
Never. Christmas has always been one of the most important holidays to Elisabeth on account of her daughter; she has only ever missed being home for Christmas twice, only because she was overseas on duty, and she hated missing such a special time with her family. Others may have no problem working and that is their prerogative, but for Ellie you will find her surprisingly absent from C.A.R.M.A. headquarters and anything work-related on Christmas unless it is a life or death emergency.

Samara: 🎥❄️
🎥 : What are your muse’s favourite Christmas movies?
A Christmas Story and The Santa Clause trilogy. Honorary mention: Die Hard — it is a Christmas movie, you cannot change her mind.
❄️ : How does your muse fare in a snowball fight?
Never challenge Samara to a snowball fight. It’s for the best. It would be unwise and downright stupid to challenge a sniper and super soldier to such a thing, though it would certainly prove epic and fun...for the team she is on, at least.
