Once the door was fully opened, Mack stepped aside to let the shivering man in. "You should get a bigger coat then," she said, shutting the door. Once he was inside, she dragged him over to the couch, draping a blanket over him once he sat down. "Is that a little better?" She asked, sitting down next to him like she was before, legs crossed, computer in her lap. "I could turn the heat up, if you'd like."
Late Night Project - Will + Mack
Will didnāt really know what his intentions were with Mack, but when she opened that door, his face lit up. Maybe it was just because he was able to go inside and get out of the cold, but the sight of her sure did make him happy. He realized she was wearing sweatpants and that she managed to look absolutely adorable in them. āYeah, I am,ā he said with a shiver as he stepped inside. āSorry I didnāt get here sooner,ā he said.

For some reason, Mackenzie believed she'd had some kind of instant connection to Will. They kissed on the first day they met, for God's sake, he had to feel it too. But Mack just couldn't bring herself to believe that he felt it. She had merely a shred of hope when he asked if he was still welcome to help her with her project. Of course she wasn't going to say no, she wasn't dumb. Mack tied her hair in a pony tail, sitting Indian style on her couch with her laptop in her lap, go figure. Just as she settled in, there was a knock on the door, causing her to let out a groan. She stood, trudging over to the door, her too-large sweatpants dragging on the floor. "Come in," she said once she opened the door. "Aren't you cold?"
Late Night Project - Will + Mack
Will somewhat rushed home from his date with Hunter. It wasnāt that he didnāt want to hang out with her, he just knew that Mack needed help and he didnāt want to show up too late. When she gave him the okay to come over, he threw on a hoodie, grabbed his laptop, and walked out the door. He drove to Mackās house hoping he was turning on the right roads and wasnāt going to get lost. When he finally got there, he sighed with relief. He got out of the car and walked to the door, holding his laptop. He felt like a total nerd. He knocked on the door and waited for her to come to it while the chilly wind nipped at his skin.

Kiss me, you idiot. What do you mean, what do I mean? No. I mean, I don't think so. I'm not a doctor, but -- I don't feel depressed.
Oh, okay. Um, Iām not sure what to do. What do you mean? Are you depressed?Ā

I never said I didn't want you to, I said it'd be weird because we just met. But that doesn't bother me. It's not, I've felt this way for a while now, so.
I wouldnāt object, but Iām guessing you donāt want me to now. It is my fault.

I was going to tell you to kiss me, but that would be weird, since we just met. So, no, not really. And it's not your fault.
Iām sorry, beautiful. Itās my fault you feel that way. Is there anything I can do?
