saw a couple posts about people wearing 1d merch hugging each other despite being complete strangers in public transportation and there's no better way to describe the warmth and love we have as a community. it's just so wholesome and pure.

The absolute lack of human decency is truly startling these days and is leaving me at a total loss for words.

not sure if listening to the entire one direction discography rn is going to be cathartic or send me into a tailspin but

what really gets me, after the initial shock, is the fact that what i remember as a group of bright eyed, over ambitious kids are now grown adults who are able to navigate the complexity of this situation.

we not only grew up with the boys, but we grew up with each other.

a lot of us have careers, families, a whole life far detached from the one we used to dedicate to a group of five boys (and their families, hairstylist, bodyguards… even a pigeon). and in one moment, simultaneously and instantly, all those memories came pouring and flooding back.

we grew up, but we never left

seeing so many people who haven’t been here for a while . we’re all family and will always be . what we got to experience is rare and precious . hope time will allow us to look back at it with joy and peace again . hugging all of you tight

i did not once ever have a full night’s sleep from 2013-2015. nothing new to say that hasn’t already been said but it was so fucking fun being a one direction fan while they were still releasing albums/touring. can’t even put it into words or describe it. u were constantly terrorized while also having the best time of ur life.
