It's the way that Blitz has other places he could be, friends and family who want to spend time with him, who would be better company because they're not dealing with devastating loss and untreated depression

Blitz has every opportunity, every excuse, every reason to leave Stolas there and enjoy the party. And Stolas is so used to his distress and sadness being treated as a mere annoyance that no one wants to see or hear about. But Blitz isn't annoyed, and he doesn't tell Stolas to just get over it.

Blitz chooses to spend time with Stolas, chooses to be there for him even when he's depressed, even when he's feeling his worst. He looks at all the heartbreak and messiness Stolas is dealing with and still says "yeah I wanna dance with you, and hold you, and maybe make you smile just for a moment"

As well-tailored as they were, Blitz's clothes were still uncomfortable as fuck, and he started shedding them as soon as they got into Stolas's apartment. "Fuck, that was an ordeal," he said, shucking off his jacket and starting on his shirt buttons. "No wonder you hate those things." He unbuttoned his cuffs as he waited for a reply, but Stolas said nothing. Eventually, Blitz glanced up and found Stolas's gaze fixed on him, on the unbuttoned collar of his shirt. His face was too flushed for the temperature-controlled environment of his apartment, his lips slightly parted as he gazed across the room. Stolas had seen him in more revealing outfits before, but then, there was something about stripping out of his formal wear that definitely suggested a state of undress where simply choosing to wear less clothes would not. "I usually do hate them," Stolas breathed, after an unnaturally long silence. "But I confess, it was rather difficult to focus on my distaste, with your mouth on me like that." Blitz felt his own face heating up. "O-oh yeah?" Stolas bit his lip, casting his eyes towards the floor, then nodded. "You really looked so handsome tonight. It was truly all I could think about." His heart was hammering in his chest. That gentle blush, and the sound of Stolas's quiet gasps and moans, still lingering in his ears? Fuck. Maybe that's what drove him slightly insane, what compelled him to add, "You know, that's not the only thing I can do with my mouth."

WIP Wednesday!! Thanks for the tag @blitzwhore !! I also have something horny on the docket but I'm afraid it's not as fun 😔 I've been in my horny-angsty feels and I've got a piece in the works to explores those vibes a little bit! It's not quite a comic but it is a series of images with text so I guess it's technically still a comic? Either way, I wanted to share a sketch of one of them!

Happy WIP Wednesday to all who celebrate! Somehow, my brain has blessed me with infinite inspiration and chapter 7 of You're Perfect (And Everything in Between) is already 8k long (!!!) after a mere, like, 2 weeks of writing. (Seriously, it took me circa 2 months to reach 8k with chapter 6 😭). So here's another snippet! The silliness continues 😂

As soon as they were alone, Stolas trotted up to him, his smile bright and flushed and cute.

“Hi,” he said as he offered Blitz the box. “Um—I hope this isn’t too much. I just… The bus arrived earlier than usual today, you see, and I had to make time before your break, so I thought…”

With no clients or nosy employees in sight, Blitz pulled him down by the collar and silenced him with a kiss. He couldn’t help it; not at the sight of those adorable, red-hot cheeks, and especially not when he realized Stolas was wearing the same embroidered button down he’d been wearing when they met.

It earned him a surprised moan, and he took the chocolate box from Stolas’ hands and placed it on the counter before dragging the flustered man by the hand towards his booth.

“Ooh,” Stolas gasped as he followed, the sound hoot-like and adorable.

“Sir!” came Moxxie’s dismayed voice as they walked past his working area, “please don’t have sex in the workplace.” 

Blitz backtracked a few steps just to give Moxx the middle finger through the door. “You ain’t the boss of me, bitch!” he bellowed, and ignored the growl that followed in favor of guiding Stolas the rest of the way to his booth and putting his hands all over that delightfully tall body of his.

Giggling at his idiocy, Stolas allowed Blitz to pull him down into an open-mouthed kiss.

Just as Blitz was properly getting into it, though, Stolas drew back and straightened, putting that addictive mouth away from his reach.

At Blitz’s pout, Stolas offered a devilish smirk and raised an eyebrow at him. “Why the long face, Blitz?” he teased. “You weren’t actually thinking of having sex in the workplace, were you?”

“Pssh. Of course not!” Blitz crossed his arms defensively. “That would be highly inappropriate of me.” He raised his voice in an exaggerated way, projecting it towards the hallway and making Stolas giggle in bursts. “I would neeeeverrr… do it with the door open.” And as he lowered his voice for that last part, he kicked the door shut and pressed his back against it, bringing Stolas down to him again and urging him to crowd Blitz into another kiss.
