WHY I LOVE KAKUZU

You know why I love Kakuzu? Sit down, this will take a while. 1. Let’s start with his appeareance: He’s tall. His muscles, hell fucking yeah! And his back, his arms, his hands - oh my! His long black hair, I bet my ass it’s soft and feels like silk in my hands. Black silk between my fingers. And OH MY GOD HIS SMILE - like, he smiles so rarely, but when he does, it’s like rainbows and sunshine in my heart. His grin gets me every time. Then, his eyes. They’re so gorgeous?! I mean, we’ve seen his eyes after he died the second time, without the Jiongu. His green eyes are and will always be so fucking gorgeous.

2. HERE WE GO WITH HIS PERSONALITY We all know canon Kakuzu. He’s cold hearted, greedy and kind of an asshole. I like that. Goddamnid I REALLY LIKE THAT. I really love the bad ones tho. But let’s take a closer look at him: He has been betrayed by Takigaure, his own village. When he was at young age, I’m pretty sure he’s been like all the other shinobi. He was ambitious, loyal and, maybe, a little naive. He held a battle against Hashirama and he fucking SURVIVED. The elders knew exactly what would happen to kakuzu. they KNEW and still send him to kill Hashirama. After losing the battle and almost his life, he has been imprisoned by the village for failing. This must have hurt so bad. This bitter betrayal by his own village, it must have crushed his loyalty to dust! So he took the Jiongu and left, thank god he left this fuckers. Go spread your wings honey! 3. Kakuzu barely talks, except for being mean to Hidan. Kakuzu is 91 - he has seen some terrible shit in his life. Like the drama in his village when he was young, I’m pretty sure that was not the only trauma in his long and painful life. He is, as said, 91. I’m not sure how old he was when he left Taki, but I guess he’s been ~22-25 back then. (Correct me if I’ wrong) So there are 65 to 70 years until today! There can happen so much in this time, I MEAN 65 YEARS ARE ALMOST A WHOLE LIFE! So, here’s my headcanon: Kakuzu had a wife, or at least a girlfriend. He was in love, deeply in love with a woman. He was happy. He had a bae, he had a life. She loved him back, for the man who he is; or, the he has been back then. But then something happened and he lost her. Maybe it was ust a big fight, a breakup or something like this. But maybe she died. Who knows? We don’t even know if there’s been a woman by his side. But if that’s the case, then it broke his heart. Or all his hearts? Have you ever seen a broken man? A man who lost everything he loved and cared about? HE’S BROKEN. And what is the first and most important thing to do when you can’t do this anymore? YOU JUST GO ON. YOU BOTTLE UP ALL YOUR FEELINGS AND BECOME A HEARTLESS MONSTER so the more you know, I bet my ass Kakuzu has a lot of feelings but he just don’t want to aknowldge them. 4. And then there’s Akatsuki! Kakuzu killed all of his partners, but then there’s Hidan. Hidan is young, arrogant and sometimes a little stupid. WHAT A CUTIE AND PERFECT FOR THIS GRUMPY OLD FART! Hidan is very young, childish but also a very good fighter. He’s immortal, perhaps the only reason he’s still alive. I absolutely understand that Hidan is noisy and his rituals sure take a lot of time. BUT both kind of need each other. Kakuzu is very silent and mature - Hidan is big mouthed and like a teenager basically. They’re a ying-and-yang, black and white. Religious and atheistic. Materialistic and spiritually. Killing mindless and head hunting for money. Of course they hate each toher, but they also really like each other. (Just remember Kakuzu taking Hidan’s headband for him) They’re like a married couple, I swear.

Now please excuse me while I lay on the ground crying and sobbing. Why. Why isn’t he real. I’ve been born in the wrong universe. I want to go headhunt with this motherfucker and just be happy with him until we die. ALSO HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO ME I’M IN LOVE WITH HIM FOR 8 YEARS CONGRATULATIONS TO ME
