Whack!
“Oi!” Feliks peered at Toris from beneath the hand shielding his face from the sun, rubbing the side of his smarting forearm against his knee.
Both of them were sitting in a field of tall grass, grass that reached above their heads. When sitting in this small clearing, the grass shielded their sight, blocking the world around them and making them both feel as if they were the only ones who existed…
…That is, until Toris realised that Feliks had to get his idiocy from somewhere and he remembered the stout, impressive castle they both inhabited, a little more than three kilometers away from where they currently sat.
He’d just had the rare pleasure of catching Feliks off-guard, drawing his sword from his scabbard with only a flash of light to indicate his intention and whacking the other’s arm with the blunt, flat edge of the blade.
Toris now shrugged at Feliks’ wounded pride, which honestly seemed more slighted than the blow to the arm.
"You cheated," he remarked then by way of explanation, moving Feliks’ queen back to its true spot and putting him back in check. Feliks wasn’t very good at chess, but that didn’t give him the right to cheat.
Normally Toris wouldn’t care - usually if a game was not going well, Feliks would just make up some silly rule and make himself win. Toris had to put his foot down at some point, though… after all, where would they both be if they engaged someone in combat and Feliks didn’t know what to do? You can’t cheat in war.
Feliks grinned, having watched Toris’s face become more and more brooding. “Oi,” he said good-naturedly, “Are you gonna do your move within the next week?"

And how often are you NOT in the right mind then?
What do you mean by this line of questioning, Pilka?
In wartime, especially in this last eighty years, gender has not been an issue in the enlisting of soldiers, and it has never been an issue between us countries… of which some are female. My personal likes and dislikes are naught compared with the needs of my nation and people, and if I need overcome my own discomfort, I shall for their sake.
It also depends on the magnitude of the issue. I probably wouldn’t smack them, but I also wouldn’t treat them any different than I would a male that made me angry. “Angry” being a loose term, as anger can be defined by a twinge of annoyance up to a boiling rage that can only be sated by vengeance.
Please keep in mind that this isn’t wartime, and it is oft the case with many countries that the border between being in your right mind and persevering is very thin during those times.

[his brow knits together] I know German well enough. It has been a while, is all... [when he realises how cross he sounds, he sighs] I apologize. It's been a long drive. I am glad you've been well. Not many can say the same.
stiprus also dropped by for a visit.
I did not. My German isn’t as good as it used to be, I’m afraid, and some of the signs were… quite strange. I should travel more, but I’ve been too busy for travel that hasn’t been for business.
Have you been well?

You can tag whoever youd like! And they tag who they want to, and they tag who they want to dont you know how to play, sir?
[he muses in thought] Well, I may have heard of this game before but I haven't really gotten into detail with its rules. I will follow them and tag someone promptly.

Dissolving
When a nation dissolves, Toris finds that if he doesn't mention it, the thought of his own death isn't eminent. However, it's like a storm cloud, and even if you ignore it it's still there... it's just a pretty sore topic that I think most nations in general turn away from in terms of light conversation.
