Many bikers are familiar with the issue of trying to find visually attractive bicycle lights. They often are impractical with specific supports to install, are unwieldy, and give no attractive satisfaction. The wear and tear leads to broken parts and frustration among users. In addition, there is a higher risk of theft, since users often leave them installed on the bike when it is parked.
Stilform has designed an invisible alternative that does not look like a light at first. Great importance was placed on visual integration with the bike grips. The system is hidden in the interior of the handlebar and can be easily pulled out whenever it is needed. The LED lights then present themselves and turn on automatically as they are moved out. Magnets hold the lamps in different positions. In both active and inactive modes, the lamp will have a stable position during riding because of the magnets. MagVis is an enclosed system that is safe from theft. It contains a battery that is chargeable via USB cable. For charging, it can simply be removed from the handlebar.

The idea behind CLOSE is to take center stage in every room. Closely intertwined with its environment, the lamp is constantly looking for a companion: a shoulder to lean on in a mutual relationship. The minimalist design necessitates that the lamp never stands isolated from other objects and, therefore, CLOSE flourishes within the company of others, providing her with a strong pillar of confidence.
Consisting of multiple pieces, the lamp allows for compact packaging and its plug-in system guarantees user-friendly and easy assembling.

The world is at a turning point. In 2030 probably 60% of the world population is going to live in cities. The number of spatial compact megacities is increasing.
We are convinced that bike sharing spots will become highly popular and certainly lift up the comfort of a living in cities. Humans are spending a lot of energy into their daily life and technology gives the possibility to turn this energy into electricity.
With our concept the energy of a person who rides a bike is used to generate electricity to charge batteries. Subsequently this will charge technical devices in their carried backpack, without a single cable.

This design was made for the tool manufacturer Gedore. The screwdriver is typically squarish shaped. We integrated the simple logo in the screwdrivers cross section. That separates the screwdriver in a soft grip surface and a hard body. The core is of a very hard material which holds all parts together. Furthermore it indicates on the top side which blade type it is e.g. a flat-blade or cross-head.
CHOP
Our aim was to simplify and optimize the cooking process. We recognized a lot of needless or uncomfortable movements which we wanted to eliminate concerning to the everyday workflow in every kitchen around the world.
The chopping board has three integrated bowls, which allow to collect the cut ingredients. The bowls can be removed with its ingredients to put them into the pan or pot without lifting the whole chopping board. We strived to create a beautiful product with sustainable materials.

”We believe there is nothing more creative than a pen and a blank sheet of paper. This cosmos is reflected in the design of our writing utensil. The bush parts are seemingly levitating over the shank and hold in position by balanced forces. Shifting the bush parts back and forth emerges or hides the ball pen cartridge. In order to realize this intuitive design, we have put in question every detail and function of writing utensils. The result is a unique mechanism based on magnets, which allows the pen to have different appearances in the writing and the idle position.”

Rescue Board
Open waters claim many victims. Lifeguards frequently have to fight in rough seas and strong currents to get to the drowning. The time slot to save a drowning is minimal. The way to the victim and back can cost valuable time, energy and even a human life. For this purpose we have developed a rescue board to speed up, simplify and modernize the process of rescue. The rescue board is operated by two electric motors via jet propulsion system. The batteries can be recharged on a solar powered docking station. After the duty, the boards can be placed and locked at the docking station.
The project is funded by donations and driven by voluntary contribution. Hover-Rescue promotes the use, research and development of new rescue vehicles.
Together we are working on ResQ – the first of its kind which is a functional, cost-efficient and useful surf rescue system, powered by an electrical engine. Both parties work voluntarily up to the maturity phase.
Pendant Lamp
With Infinity, Stilform is striving to bridge the gap between science and design. Inspired by the minimal surface theory devised by the mathematician Alfred Enneper, who defined the infinite surface with the help of a mathematical formula, a spatial feeling of infinity is produced in a limited space through the wave forms of the lamp. This is achieved through the different impressions of the lamp from various perspectives. In doing so, the curved surfaces create an interesting play of lights and shadows.
The seemingly endless form integrates into almost every type of living environment. This allows the light to be used in living spaces with different interior designs and still be shown to its best advantage.
