dahee looked up and saw the woman and for the moment she was mesmerized by her voice, surprised at the gentleness despite her clumsiness. she should have expected that everyone in the show was going to be gorgeous and it made her heart skip a little beat because of how kind the other seemed, offering assistance. dahee wasn't about to let a gorgeous woman help her carry these to her apartment, and so she put the box down and shook her head. " no, thank you. i just need to rest for a bit and i'll be fine, " she responded slowly, scratching her nose that had began to feel itchy from the dust on the box she was carrying. " you live here as well? " she asked, gesturing at the apartment building. " i swear i would have noticed you. i'm dahee, by the way. i live in 803 . how about you ? "
Viviane was making her way into the apartment as she looked around the place for some time. The new place she had got as a result of this show looked rather nice and she certainly enjoyed the sight before her. It was a nice quaint place with a lovely view and she didn't mind the show so much though she was certain she was the eldest one there. Viviane was minding her business when suddenly something she heard something falling. For a moment she was puzzled before looking around and finally spotting the younger girl. She looked at the box on the others hand before looking at the stuff on the floor. She heard her words and gave her a gentle smile before finally responding to her. "That's alright. Do you need any help with that ?" She asked gently.

garam felt as if she was caught in a spider's web, unable to break free and waiting to be devoured. and she could feel black widow's eyes on her, hot, memories pouring in waves in her mind of soft hands against bare skin. she hugged her jacket closer to her body, glancing down then back up to the woman she had just approached. soojin. that was her name. garam should at least remember her name when she was being a good shield. the woman's smile was genuine too, and garam tried to match her energy. she always tried her best, especially when she could see a distraction not too far away. back then it was her who stood in front of aeri, her hands on her waist and aeri's around her neck. they slow danced, laughed at how terrible garam was at it, but that was then and this is now, and garam wished with all her might that soojin would be enough to keep her from running away.
the music was low enough that garam could catch some of the conversations around them and flinched when she heard the word girlfriend come from aeri's lips. she knew the other deliberately danced close to where she was. aeri played her game very obviously with her, and yet she couldn't do the sane thing and that was to not be affected. " should we dance too? " she asked soojin, interrupting her talk about her job. " it seems that others have started and you look like you'll be a good dancer. " shyly, soojin nodded and wrapped her arms around garam's neck as she was taller. garam's hands naturally rested on her hips which started to sway with the music. it felt wrong. so wrong. but what can she do but play her own game against aeri's? cry? not again. never again.
˚₊‧꒰ა . — ˗ˏˋ ✮ ˎˊ˗ — ˖ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ —— aeri had wanted to enjoy the party. she’d wanted to dress up nice, do her makeup nice, dance and flirt with girls and get their attention. maybe go home with one - or find a secluded spot on the rooftop away from the cameras to get up to some mischief. all of that had been the plan until garam. why was it always garam? even when aeri was invested in someone else, her mind would always go back to her - it was infuriating. tonight at the party she looked like a princess, but she certainly didn’t feel like one. when she first laid eyes on garam that night, it felt like her stomach tied itself into knots. she didn’t let herself seem phased – staring back at the other with a piercing gaze. an expression that almost read, so what are you going to do? she looked so fucking good. she couldn’t help but think obscene thoughts when her ex was dressed that way – and no doubt garam knew it. ( perhaps her gaze even flickered down to garam's lips for a very brief moment. ) she’s trying to make me jealous, she thought. she mentally threw a few insults garam’s way, hoping that somehow she’d be able to read her mind and be offended. “why don’t you dance with me?” the pink-haired girl quickly took the hand of the nearest girl who seemed to be on her own. aeri was lucky that love was drunk enough kind enough to oblige without question. she pulled love a little closer to where garam was standing, pressing her body against her and throwing her arms around her neck, putting on a show. “you’re really pretty. you really don’t have a girlfriend?”

garam couldn't believe what was happening to her. it had been a while and surely that was enough time for her to move on and be less affected. but her conversation with aeri awakened feelings that made her feel sick in the stomach and messed with her self-confidence she tried so hard to keep together. so for tonight she dressed to make herself as eye catching as possible, clad in one of her favorite oversized leather jackets, a bright pink tube top, pink denim jeans and knee high black high heeled boots. when she arrived at the rooftop garden, she locked eyes with one of the other women and was about to approach her to introduce herself when she caught sight of someone from the corner of her eye. she glanced long enough to recognize the petite stature looking absolutely ethereal from what she could see and swallowed the lump in her throat. " i'm garam, by the way, " she quickly said, focusing on the woman who was offering her a drink and smiled. " should have known pretty girls would show up here. "

dahee let out a worried sigh, placing the box on the ground and studying the other woman's foot as if she could see if she had been injured when she was wearing her shoes. her comment made dahee smile, relieved that she wasn't angry at least even if it was justifiable. looking up, she reached out, thinking that the other would fully lose her balance but thankfully nothing of the sort happened. great first impression, she thought. " i look...? " she asked, surprised by the comment. self conscious, she reached out for her napkin and dabbed it on places she could feel sweat forming due to the humid weather. " i'm sorry... i swear i look more presenta-- oh. you would? " dahee smiled apologetically, shaking her head and picked up her box. " how about you uhm... accompany me instead? i'll pay you back for almost ruining your foot and thank you for the offer? i can make us some coffee or tea. i'm dahee, by the way. you are? "
𝑾𝒂𝒔 it a squeak or a groan (a mouse or a foul-mouthed sailor) that could be heard from Yinhae after that pinch on her foot? She couldn't remember. in fact, Yinhae also couldn't remember if it hurt as soon the person who wheeled over it turned around with such a concerned face. Maybe it didn't even feel like anything. Good day to not have her toes out. "Oh," Yinhae jumped. "It's fine, it's fine. I get mistaken for a pole sometimes." Yinhae pressed her weight on that not-so-injured foot and almost stumbled sideways. A pole, Yinhae? "Let me help you with that. You look," Yinhae studied the shorter woman's visage for a few seconds. A few seconds long enough to make it awkward, sadly. "I would love to help you." She wasn't limping, right? Nah. Yinhae extended a hand towards the box. "Let me take this one?"

dahee breathed out a relieved sigh, her smile wide and bright in comparison to the other's. she loved meeting new people and this was exactly one of the reasons why she signed up. " i probably should have done the same, but i'm a bit sentimental when it comes to my things so i bought quite a few knick knacks, " she said with a sheepish smile and placed the box momentarily down on the ground, taking out her handkerchief from her pocket to dab away the sweat on her forehead. the woman in front of her was pretty, and she wanted to make a good first impression however she was caught at a not so ideal time. " will you really? " her eyes widened in surprise, smile growing. " maybe i can treat you to something after. i only have... one box left inside the car. " raising her hand, she pointed at a sleek black sedan she recently bought. " how about you carry this and i carry what's inside the car? this is much lighter. " without waiting for an answer, she jogged towards her car and pulled out a bigger box that covered her face and locked her car, walking towards her. " beddings, " she explained, laughing. " let's go? "
"I'm fine! You're carrying the whole world in your hands." A small smile tugged at Jihyo's lips as she stepped back from the other woman. "Though, now that I think about it, I should've brought more stuff with me." She twirled a loose strand of hair, raising an eyebrow playfully. "I only brought the essentials, figuring I could just pick up anything I needed on the go. Maybe I'll swing by home on one of our days off." Jihyo had the reputation of rushing into situations without making a solid plan. She considered this trait an essential part of her carefree lifestyle. Would her attitude result in her burning through cash? Probably. However, she'd allow the future version of herself to solve all future crises. Her gaze shifted to the boxes. "Need any help getting your stuff inside?"

" have you not seen how it jumped?! " dahee asked dramatically, standing behind the other woman as if using her as a shield. bugs were the bane of her existence due to her irrational fear. she was happy that the spider was being handled but she almost wanted to throw it away. dahee grimaced at the question, eyes wide looking at the woman in front of her, completely believing t. " fluffy?! i don't think the apartment complex allows pets so ha. not gonna happen. can't you just... let it go? please. before it jumps again. "

" it's... " garam paused, recalling the youtube videos she watched before taking on this task. " it looks much more... not this sticky. but at this point i think we should just start all over-- " garam turned to look at the ingredients she bought earlier, realizing that she used almost all of the flour already. they would need to go out to buy more if they wanted to continue and that didn't sound too appealing. " we may have to... buy more ingredients, " she said, shoulders slumping. but a brilliant idea formed in her head, a small smile on her lips. " maybe we should buy some ice cream as well because sweets always solve everything. what do you say? my treat. " she was already removing her apron, walking towards the sink to wash off the dough off her hands with a pleased hum, excited for the sweet treat.
eyeing the batter stuck to her fingers, xinyue shrugs as it she rubs her fingers together and its transfers from one finger to the next. the blonde wasn't a back in her own right, but she wasn't going to give up the chance to try something new. though she had the distinct feeling that there wasn't much they could do to save this batch. " what is it supposed to look like ? isn't dough supposed to be sticky ? " xinyue really had no idea what they had done wrong. " maybe we can add more eggs or water or something else to it ? there's gotta be a fix for this ! "

" okay well, " garam started to say, face turning sour due to her patience slowly reaching its limit. but she figured that she should be thankful for the assistance so she plastered on a polite smile. when in doubt, kill them with kindness, right? " next time remind me to make you a sourdough donut with vegan glaze or something like that. " sourdough starter was difficult to make and she was in no way capable of being that patient. for now. despite her efforts in sounding polite, there was still an edge to her voice, but she focused on answering the question. " it's on my phone. in case it's locked the code is 181818. " looking at the mess she made, she took a deep breath and decided to clean the area, perhaps it would calm her down. walking towards one of the cabinets, she found a kitchen towel and soaked it in water, using it to wipe the kitchen surface. " do you usually not eat food with calories or do you have anything against donuts? "
"How do you expect me to know what this is supposed to look like?" Nayoung hated messes, specially in the kitchen, and wasn't sure how she had agreed to cook with her fellow cast member. Well, actually, she knew — she was trying to seem more approachable, and the woman was interesting enough for Nayoung to think it might be a good idea. "I mean, I’ve never made a donut in my life, it’s way too high in calories for me anyway. Why don’t we go over the recipe again—where did you put it?" Nayoung tried to soften her tone to sound friendlier, tossed her hair back dramatically, and started searching the room, hoping to find the recipe and fix the mess so they could be done with it quickly.

someone had to find this amusing and remind her that this was supposed to be a fun activity that she will learn from and use in the future. but as the minutes passed by, she grew increasingly insecure and even wanted to simply throw everything away. honey's presence was appreciated, and when she saw her obvious attempt at not laughing, her worried expression turning into amusement. " gone rouge? are we on a secret mission to totally ruin this kitchen? " she asked playfully, walking over to the sink to wash some dough off of her fingertips. it was a hot summer day and she was sweating from all of this. once she dried her hands, she put it up in a ponytail using a hair tie she had and listened. " but... why does it have to be slowly? " sighing, she leaned against the counter and looked at the other. " should we just throw everything and order actual donuts made by actual professionals who know what they're doing? "
honey stared at the flour covered chaos, her eyes widening slightly as she tried to keep from laughing, but a snort escaped anyway. she had never been much of a baker, but she promised herself when she joined the show she would try new things. "oh, wow… yeah, this, um, yeah" she mumbled, awkwardly tapping the recipe with her floury finger. "i think… i think we may have gone rogue somewhere?” she laughed as her eyes scanned the list, before she glanced back up at garam, a sheepish grin spreading across her face. "uh … i think we skipped the part where we were supposed to add the flour, like, in stages? not, you know, all at once…" ୨୧

beads of sweat trickled down dahee's forehead and cheeks flushed not from the blush she wore that day but from running around all day transporting her remaining items from her previous apartment. she was so engrossed in what she was doing that she unfortunately lost her balance carrying a box filled with her smaller items. thankfully, the contents did not spill out but she did feel something underneath her foot. she turned, jumping in surprise and smiled at the stranger, hoping that she won't get scolded or yelled at. " i'm so sorry! i didn't see you there, " she exclaimed, bowing to apologize while keeping a firm grip on her box. " i've been carrying boxes all day and i get so into it that i didn't pay attention. are you okay? "
