Steve does not have the best character arc in the show you can't call it an arc when he makes a 180 shift in season 2 and then continues 2 seasons being in love with his ex and having multiple failed relationships with high school girls (gross). If anything Max and Hopper have the best development cause they change and grow every season.

i stopped maintagging the majority of my st stuff shortly after joining the fandom because there was so much hatred and toxicity that i didnt feel safe using the main ‘stranger things’ tag. i’ve only been using character and ship tags for almost my whole time being here so that there was less chance of someone taking offense to me posting about what i enjoyed and coming to harass me. ive never felt the need to do this in any other fandom i’ve been in, and it’s honestly really sad. i really hope people in this fandom can do better, because fandom should not feel like this

listen i'm not pro ao3 censorship bc slippery slope so not naming names but i find it nauseating that there's erica/eddie ship fics even if they're aged up they met at 11 & 20 how someone sees their s4 ep1 scene together & comes out of it seeing sexual tension is unfathomable & fucking disgusting

my dream season five is something designed in a lab to anger as much of the fandom as possible. i hope the fan favorite characters die meaningless deaths. i hope they make the most disliked ships canon. i hope the writers lose touch with the characters so badly that by the end of the show they act as shells of who they were at the beginning of it and it goes uncommented on because they've all become caricatures and there is no one left to comment

I truely, genuinely, don't understand Byler. Mike is a pos that doesn't pay more than surface level attention to Will and honestly? Will deserves better than that. It's ok for it to just be an unrecipocated love story and for Will to then grow and realise he's better off with literally anyone else. It's wild to me that this is such an unpopular take in the fandom.
