My brothers in Christ you don’t need post after post over analyzing why your ship is destined for endgame while tearing down people who enjoy your ship’s rival pairing. This is why this fandom has so many fucking ship wars (Byler vs Mileven, Stancy vs Jancy, Hellcheer vs Steddie, Rovickie vs Ronance)

I genuinely think some of y’all would have so much more fun in this fandom if you learned to except that someone shipping something different from you doesn’t make you a smarter person with a better understanding of canon.

I need people to stop calling Robin dumb, even as a joke or something. Like, did we even watch the same show?? She’s canonically very smart!! Like I literally saw someone referring to her as a “dumb bitch” the other day and my jaw actually dropped. I think it was supposed to be like in an affectionate or joking way but it still rubbed me the wrong way :/

given how this show has dealt with gender and race I do highly doubt that they’ve been building a nuanced and subtle seasons long arc about a queer couple. like genuinely I don’t believe the duffer brothers have ever heard the words internalized homophobia or compulsory heterosexuality. (not to mention the show has also just been generally lackluster in writing romance, which is fine for a sci-fi show I guess)
