Hi @krycek-asks I’m your Stucky Secret Santa and I come bringing (pictures of) custom homemade plushies!

You mentioned you were working on a fic where Steve and Bucky were bearded and wearing plaid shirts so I made that:

And you mentioned that you liked tentacle AUs too so I decided to make them octomers

And as you can see the tentacles have some wreath wire in them for extra stability and are able to hold a pose and hold the plushie up!

And you can get a detailed look at the shirts (the real challenge of the dolls) and see them hanging out with my fish Zuko!

Wishing you a very happy holidays and if you have some aesthetic adjustments you’d like to have made, please let me know, at this point it’d be an easy fix!

Hi everyone! The Steve/Bucky Secret Santa is nearly over so I wanted to make a post with all the details and specifics of what posting your final gifts will look like. 

Posting begins on Dec. 25th at 12:00AM MST. You have until Dec 31st 11:59PM MST to post your gift and reveal your Secret Santa identity to your partner. The deadline has been extended to reduce stress around posting. If you still need an extension, please let me know as soon as possible and make sure your partner is aware as well. 

Do not forget to tag your partner when you post your gift! Use the hashtags #sbss and #stevebuckysecretsanta so I can add it to the blog.

Below I’ve detailed the formats in which you can post your gift. 

Fan-fiction:  Include the title, any warnings, word count, and a brief summary. You can post your fic to the Ao3 page as well if you’d like to do so.

Artwork: Along with an image of your piece, include a title (if you have one) and any warnings (if your piece is NSFW, crop the image you post and include a link to the original).

Graphic/video edit: For graphics, include a title (if you have one) and any warnings (if your piece is NSFW, crop the image you post and include a link to the original). For videos, include a title (if you have one) and any warnings. 

Playlist: Include a title (if you have one), a list of the songs and artists, and a link to where you can listen to the playlist if you’ve posted it somewhere else.

re: the posting of gifts on tumblr, are fic writers required to post their entire fic on tumblr? or is a link to the ao3 page sufficient? [mine got really wordy, hence the question - 5k or so might be fine, but, uh, 10k might be a bit much for a tumblr post? DX]

This will also be outlined in the post tomorrow and there will be a link to an ao3 page that all fic writers can use if they’d like to. For posting your fic to Tumblr, I suggest just a preview containing the title, warnings, tags, characters, etc and a short drabble from your fic.

I’d also like to add that sometimes Tumblr loses the asks before they make it to your partner. Send a duplicate ask if you’re worried this may be the reason they haven’t responded yet.
