I was supposed to practice drawing and sketching but I was like “hey why can’t I draw this random person on Pinterest as regulus,in the rain, watching dragons having fun”. ( chapter 8 my heart ) this fic is so good like every fic they post, go read it if you haven’t already !

Anyways my English is pretty bad but yeah here it is. Now it’s finally the weekend and I’m off to see some friends.

Study Date - Jegulus - TTPD Server's Microprompt Challenge - wc: 314

"Just one date?" James asks desperately, wide eyes so sincere that Regulus almost accepts.

Almost.

"No," he mumbles instead, frowning. Because he knows that James Potter, campus-renowned player and football star, can't possibly want to actually date him. The other boy obviously just has some fascination with the idea of wearing him down before leaving him alone. So it's much easier to turn him down before he gets hurt. "I have to study, Potter. I have a huge exam on Monday."

There. That should be enough to get the other boy off his back. Turning and moving to stop away, he's surprised when a hand grabs lightly at his wrist- enough to stop him but not enough to trap him there.

"A study date, then?" James pleads as Regulus eyes him again, and the suggestion makes Regulus pause.

Because he's never, not once seen James Potter in the library.

"You want to have a study date?" he asks suspiciously, even as the more hopeful part of him swells with something akin to joy.

"Sure. I- I'll quiz you. Read to you! Sit there quietly and stare out the window while you study," James says nodding as grinning. "Anything you want. I just want to spend time with you, Reg."

And the way he speaks causes Regulus to smile softly. Because it's so genuine, he believes him, even against his better judgement. "I'm studying geography," he warns, making sure James knows it's not the most interesting of subjects.

"Perfect! I love rocks and stuff," James grins.

Chuckling, Regulus doesn't have the heart to tell him he's probably thinking of geology. "Meet me in study room four tomorrow at one. And wear something comfortable, we're going to be there for a while," he warns with a smile.

Of course, as it turns out, they don't end up getting a lot of studying done the next day, but that's a different story.
