Toyota Corolla FX-GT, 1984. A high performance version of the 5th generation AE82 Corolla for the Japanese market fitted with the 124PS 4A-GE DOHC 16 valve engine that was also used in the first generation MR2. This was the first Corolla generation to use front wheel drive for most model variants

What a difference 50 years makes juxtaposition of Volkswagen Passat Variant, 1973 & Volkswagen Passat Variant, 2023. The new 9th generation Passat has been revealed for the European market. VW has sold more than 30 million Passats since the introduction of the Italdesign B1 however it has been withdrawn from the US market and the range has shrunk from the original 3 models to the single station wagon Variant. It will be built along side the closely related Škoda Superb and VW's Bratislava plant using the company’s MQB Evo platform. There remains a Passat saloon based on the MQB platform for the Chinese market.

Porsche 914 Fifteen Eleven Design, 2023 (1975). The classic & prestige arm of UK-based WRC team Mellors Elliot Motorsport have revealed a restomod 914 fitted with a Porsche Cayman 3.8S 6-cylinder engine and 6-speed transmission. Modifications include carbon fibre panels, Reiger coilover suspension and a Brembo braking system. The 3.8 litre engine has been reworked to offer between 380-400BHP, coupled with steel internals, forged pistons and a Life Racing ECU and power management system. The cars will be specced to individual buyer's requirements with pricing starting at starting at £350,000 ($442,512).

GMC Hummer EV EarthCruiser, 2023. EarthCruiser have produced a carbon fibre pop-top, solar panel and added a bed, a sink, and more batteries to create a sleep-over version of GMC Hummer. It is capable of up to 7 days of off-grid camping. Sales will begin next year with EarthCruiser taking $100 deposits to secure your conversion kit

Gateway Bronco LUXE-GT, 2023. A restomod 1970s Ford Bronco that has been bought up to date using a Ford 5.0 Coyote V8 with a 10-speed automatic gearbox and two-stage shift-on-the-fly all-wheel drive system. The body has been reinforced with a new ladder chassis, there's also anti-lock brakes, electronic stability and traction control. The Gateway Bronco has been developed in Australia with 2 years of testing behind it and will be built at the rate of 25 cars per year. Gateway Bronco has bCeen operating for 7 years and claims to be the highest-quality builder of vintage Broncos, having earned an official license from the Ford Motor Company

Ford Mustang GTD Prototype, 2023. Billed as the ultimate road-going version of the Mustang, a new special edition that borrows technologies from the GT3 race car. It will be powered by a purpose-developed supercharged 5.2-litre V8 that is targeting 800hp, making it the most powerful factory-produced Mustang ever. It comes with semi-active suspension and Brembo carbon ceramic brakes. Pricing will start around $300,000

Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.3 Coupé, 1969, by Pininfarina. A one-off designed by Paolo Martin based on a W109 series that was built for a wealthy Dutch customer and was displayed at the 1970 Paris Motor Show. Pininfarina "recycled" the design for the Rolls Royce Camarge. The Mercedes was sold recently for $1.2-million

Fisker Rōnin, 2023. A folding hardtop "super GT convertible" that will be a new halo model for the Fisker brand who it goes on sale in 2025. The electric supercar will be based on a new aluminium space frame chassis, with integrated battery cells that will provide a range of 600 miles (966 km). Details of the electric powertrain have yet to be revealed but it provides over 1000hp and 0-60mph in “approximately 2 seconds” with the focus on driver enjoyment rather than autonomous technologies.

Lamborghini Countach LP400 S "Cannonball Run," 1979. Chassis number 1121112 was originally delivered to the Lamborghini distributor for Rome, Italy, SEA Auto, who almost immediately had the car exported to the United States of America. Hal Needham. the movie's director, decided the factory original Countach wasn’t quite wild enough for the film, so it was modified by adding a new front spoiler with additional lights for night driving. In 2021 The Cannonball Run Countach made history by entering the Library of Congress National Historic Vehicle Register.
