Stacy's Sisterš„
bada x fem reader
disclaimers: suggestive, curses, smoking, lowkey age gap.
a/n: this is for fun purposes only, i don't mean to defame or disrespect bada & her personality. enjoy āØļø
Summary: Agreeing to hang out at Stacy's place got you all excited. The minute you lock eyes with her sister, Bada Lee, who you've seen a couple of times before, your legs go weak, like you might just crumble in front of her. You've got this major crush on Bada, and honestly, she seem to find you quite cute.
based on mad tsai's song:
WC: 1.2K
The sun dipped low in the sky as you stepped into Stacy's welcoming home, you just came back from uni and now it's finally time to get some rest. She welcomed you warmly, leading the way through the cozy living room.
As you rounded a corner, there she was ā Bada Lee.
Leaning against the wall that separated the living room from the kitchen, Bada held a cigarette between her fingers, the smoke curling upward as she exhaled, creating a hazy atmosphere; her street pants were slightly pulled down, revealing a glimpse of her Calvin Klein underwear. She sported an oversized button-down shirt over a stylish black cropped top, and her hair was artfully arranged in a tousled fashion.
Stacy's older sister exuded a somewhat distant expression, giving off an intimidating aura. Yet, there was something undeniably attractive about her presence.
Her gaze at you traveled from top to bottom, and she slyly nibbled on her lower lip.
"Bada! I told you not to smoke inside home!" Stacy sighed, looking at her own sister.
"Tsk... don't be annoying," Bada complains as she stubs out her cigarette and lets it go. "Happy?"
"Nope, the smoke smell is still here. Oh Lord," Stacy remarks, shifting her attention to you. "Don't mind my sister; she's always like that." However, your focus stays so fixed on Bada that you almost doesn't hear.
"Erm... it's fine; my brother's just the same," you reply, offering a sheepish smile, now avoiding eye contact with Bada.
"Hey, I'm hungry. Go grab something to eat," the tall girl asserts, looking at her sister.
"Not today! You can go if you're starving that much. I don't know what your lazy ass wants."
"The usual. Go on, brat."
"You're sounding more bothersome than usual..." Stacy grumbles and takes my hand. "Come with me? I'll show you our neighborhood!" she invites, with a smile.
Suddenly, i feel another person holding my arm, preventing me from taking any step.
"She stays. Go on," it was Bada, saying with an imperative and impatient tone.
"Ugh, the hell?! Can't i even hang out with my friend? If you mess with her, i'll kill you, Bada."
"I'll take good care of her. Now go, go," she says, giving a slight grin, while waving for Stacy to leave.
While Stacy reluctantly steps out to grab some food, Bada maintains her grip on your arm, her touch exuding possessiveness and warmth.
"Such a stubborn," she comments, her gaze intense.
Feeling unsure of how to respond, you softly ask, "Hey, can you let go of my arm...?"
Bada seems to catch onto your hesitation and, with a slight smile, she releases your arm, the touch lingering for a moment longer than necessary. "If that's what you want."
The girl smoothly slides her fingers to snag a cigarette from her pocket, taking and lighting it. Again, the bitter smell permeates the air.
"Can't you smoke somewhere else...?" you mention as soon as you smell the sour aroma, trying to keep your cool and not show nervousness.
Bada edges a bit closer, staring, "No" she replies, before exhaling a puff of smoke toward your face. "Bothered?" Her gaze remains fixed, teasing your unease, which, no matter how hard you try to conceal, she could sense from afar.
You immediately cough as the smoke aggressively wafts through your nose. "Don't you think trying so hard to seem like a 'bad girl' might be a bit clichƩ?"
Bada lets out a brief laugh, but the intensity of her gaze doesn't waver. As you take a step back, she inches forward, nudging you against the wall with a subtle firmness. In a swift motion, the cigarette falls, but the smoke mingles with the tension-laden air between you two.
"What do you think you know about me?" she murmurs, her voice now a whisper echoing in your ears, sending a shiver down your spine.
Faced with silence, Bada lightly trails her finger along your chin, lifting it slightly to meet your gaze. "Cat got your tongue?" She chuckles, keeping her eyes on you.
Avoiding eye contact once again, you look around, regretting ever opening your mouth.
"Look at me."
With no response, you continue to glance around, avoiding looking directly at Bada.
"I told you to look." She holds your chin with even more firmness, making you inevitably meet her gaze. "Good girl."
As the tension lingers in the air, Bada's playful smirk remains. The lingering touch on your chin keeps you rooted, now lowering a bit down to a tight grip on your waist.
"You know, i've seen you checking me out a few times. Not that i mind," she adds, a teasing smirk playing on her lips.
Your cheeks flush, and you stammer, "I- I don't know what you're talking about."
"Don't lie to me," she says, bringing her face closer to yours. You can feel your heart skip a beat as she places her hand on your nape, gently caressing, teasing you once again.
"Tell me how much you want me," Bada says, still caressing you.
You gaze at her lips and into her eyes, desiring them more than anything, but struggling to articulate just how much.
"If you don't say, i'll stop," she warns, abruptly ceasing to caress the back of your neck and pulling away.
"Wait!" You pull her close again, and now your faces are mere inches apart. "Don't. I really... want you."
"Now, wasn't that easy?" she teases, her eyes locked onto yours.
The room feels smaller, the air heavier with anticipation. Bada takes a step even forward, your lips are on the verge of touching. The once gentle caress on the back of your neck turns into a firm and dominative grip.
Bada closes the remaining distance, her lips finally meeting yours in an intense kiss. Her movements are deliberate, each press of her lips demanding and commanding. The intensity amplifies as her lips part slightly, with hunger.
After a breathless moment, she eases the firm grip on you, allowing a brief respite to catch your breath. The air is thick with tension, and you both stand there, eyes locked.
"Fuck, you taste good" she says while biting her lips, now moving toward your neck, nibbling it, leaving a trail of small wet kisses. "I don't think just a kiss will do."
The room was filled with the heat coming between the two of you. Bada slides her arms around you, lifting you off the ground with surprising ease, guiding you towards the nearby couch, and, carefully, presses you against it, positioning herself on top of you.
It feels like your body is burning, you let out a small moan as her fingers trace a path along your skin. As she notices it, her grin widens even more, in a mischevious expression.
She unbuttons her shirt slightly, revealing only the black crop top she was wearing. She looks at you, expecting you to do the same with your clothes, and you comply.
"So pretty... so fucking ready for me," she gazes at you entirely and pulls you into another kiss, your bodies pressed against each other. Things were about to heat up from there.
a/n: and now we go for a time skip HAHA. use your imagination i guess āØļø
"I'm back!" Stacy announces, taking off her shoes as she enters home, looking for you and Bada. "Your food is here, come get it!" She shouts, still waiting for her older sister to respond and leaves what she bought on the table.
You were in Bada's room, glancing at her one last time, your breath heavy, and you close your eyes from exhaustion. Bada wraps her arms around you and yells in response to her sister:
"Forget it. I'm not hungry anymore."
and we're done! try to stop me from writing smoker bada and fail miserably LMAO. tysm for reading until here~ it's my first "spicy" (?š) fic so i'd appreciate any feedback!!! i hope you enjoyed it. š„

Snowfall(ing in love) š
bada x fem reader
disclaimers: short fluff fic just for christmas! please keep in mind that im not a native english speaker, thank you. enjoy! ā¤ļø
Summary: "Sorry, love, i won't be able to spend Christmas with you" are the words you read on your phone from Bada. Your girlfriend mentioned she won't be able to spend Christmas with you, leaving you quite disappointed. After all, it isn't just Christmas; it's your 3-year anniversary together. Frustrating, right? Unless...
WC: 1.2k
"What?!" A high-pitched gasp echoes through the diner.
"Lusher, chill," i utter, covering my ears in response to the shout while attempting to ease my own frustration.
"What do you mean... she won't be here for Christmas night? I mean... She didn't even spend the day with you today" Minah inquires, assertive. It's like everyone got hit by the message i just read.
Bada and i have been together as a couple for 3 years, and through her, i got to know Lusher, Minah, and Sowoen; they've become my close friends since then.
We decided to come to a small diner before diving into the preparations for the upcoming festivities; the year flew by, and today is already December 25th. It feels like time zoomed in a flash.
I was looking forward to this Christmas, as today is the anniversary of my relationship with Bada as well. The issue is that she just messaged saying she can't make it.
Ugh, I'm really frustrated. I mean, i get itāI'm trying to be understanding, especially with her crazy & packed schedule over the past few months. But, come on, it's such a special date and she hasn't even seen me today...
I attempt to shake off the disappointment, taking a deep breath as i glance around at the faces of my friends, each wearing a mix of concern and sympathy.
"Maybe there's a reason she can't make it," Sowoen suggests, trying to ease the tension in the air.
I nod, appreciating the attempt to find a silver lining. "Yeah, she's been swamped with work lately."
Minah raises an eyebrow, "But Christmas, of all days?"
I sigh, realizing the weight of the situation. "I know, it's just... it's our anniversary too."
Lusher, who has been visibly on edge, finally speaks up, "Look, we're here for you. Maybe she's just really busy after all."
I force a small smile, touched by their support. "Yeah, maybe..."
Finishing my drink, i glance at the clock; it's nearly 8 in the evening. Christmas is almost over.
"Well, i must go now; thanks for the company, ladies!" I flash a smile as i stand to hug everyone.
"Already? Hang out a bit more. You can join us for the rest of Christmas if you want!" Sowoen suggests in her sweet and eloquent voice.
"No need! Enjoy it, and tell me what you got as presents later!" I warmly reply.
"If you need anything, hit us up," Lusher affirms while giving me a tight hug.
I give a final wave and leave the establishment; grabbing my keys from the bag, i open the car to head home.
With the snow starting to fall, the road becomes increasingly tricky to navigate. However, it's not a big deal, as i manage to reach my home safely.
Still disappointed about spending this important date alone, i enter the building's elevator, heading to the floor of my apartment. Upon arriving in front of the door, i spot a note.
"Knock on the door 3 times and close your eyes! :)"
"What the...?" I mutter to myself. Had my friends prepared something? Nonetheless, i decided to follow the instructions.
"Knock, knock, knock"
Three knocks on the door, and i keep my eyes shut, waiting for what will happen next.
I can feel the door opening accompanied by a faint, familiar laughter.
"Open your eyes~"
Upon finally opening my eyes, the first sight before me is Bada, with a mischievous smile and an expression of "I fooled you good" emanating from her face. She's grinning, her medium-length hair adorned with pink highlights and small braids. My girlfriend hadn't forgotten our anniversary, after all.
"Bada...? But..." i stammer, slightly perplexed, directing my gaze towards the decoration.
It's as if i stepped into a massive Christmas-themed store; a huge tree, meticulously decorated and lit up, stands out in the corner of the room. Lights and twinkling decorations everywhere, thoughtfully arranged. Paper hearts and garlands adorn the walls, accompanied by lovely post-its stuck with the message "Our 3-year anniversary." The dining table, beautifully set, occupies the center.
A carefully selectedd playlist fills the room with a variety of songs, from "Understand - Keshi" to "double take - dhruv."
Honestly, i'm mesmerized by everything, unsure whether to admire the decoration or Bada. I am on the verge of tears; i truly didn't expect all of this.
"Merry Christmas and happy anniversary to us, my love." Bada wraps me in her long arms while planting small kisses on my cheeks and nose.
We linger in the embrace for a few seconds; her hug is so comforting, i wish i could stay in it forever.
"Did you like the surprise, sweetheart?" she asks casually, holding my hand while pointing to the post-its and other messages.
"Of course! But hey, you didn't have to fool me like that... I was hurt!" I playfully punch her shoulder, and she just laughs, as it probably didn't make much impact; after all, I'm not one of the strongest.
"But it was worth it, wasn't it? Lusher, Minah, and Sowoen helped me organize everything."
"They're in on this? Oh, I'll end those girls the next time i see them," i say, jokingly, surprised by the revelation. I really thought they weren't part of this.
"Hey, they made all of this possible ~ without them, it would have been dull," she says, still laughing at the situation. "Let's eat; i prepared everything especially for you."
She gives a swift kiss upon my lips before arranging the table. Bada had meticulously prepared various dishes, and from a distance, i could spot a cake that seemed to be green tea-flavored.
"It looks delicious!" I exclaim, my mouth watering.
"Before we eat, i wanted to give you this," she gazes at me intently and pulls a medium-sized box from her pocket. "You can open it."
"What is it?" I inquire, fixing my eyes at the present, opening it.
Inside, i find a beautiful necklace with a small diamond pendant, accompanied by a polaroid photo of us from our last Christmas/New Year's trip.
I love you, truly. You mean everything to me, love. I am the happiest person in the world when you're right next to me. Christmas after Christmas, year after year, we'll be together. The youngest days of my life are when I'm with you," she confesses genuinely, and i truly feel that every word she utters is sincere.
Once again, tears stream down my cheeks. I am at a loss for words. My veins feel like they might burst from sheer happiness. I feel so grateful to have someone so kind by my side.
"Bada... I don't know what to say... I really love you so much," i articulate, my voice choked and trembling, admiring everything she has done for me not just today, but throughout these three years we've been together.
"Hey, don't cry," she rises up and rushes to hug me once again, that warm sensation returning. She caresses my neck with one hand while gently wiping away my tears with the other.
Outside, snow is falling; i can hear some neighbors enthusiastically wishing Merry Christmas as the day seems to end, and fireworks are lighting up the whole sky.
"Season after season, i shall be here for you. Merry Christmas, my lovely princess," Bada whispers in my ear, and our lips meet gentlyāa tender and soft kiss filled with affection on that festive Christmas night.
[š] thank you so much for reading! i hope you liked this christmas special. merry x-mas and stay safe everyone <3 kisses from ste~

[š] thank you so much for reading! i hope you liked this christmas special. merry x-mas and stay safe everyone <3 kisses from ste~

i feel like crying this is so cute š
the date
genre: fluff
warnings: nothing really
word count: 2k
synopsis: you and bada go on a date after her victorious volleyball game
*part two of ābada has gameā
You should definitely thank Lusher for dragging you to that volleyball game.
As you and Bada exit the school, hand in hand, your heart begins to flutter at the thought of the date you were about to go on.
Even though you had just met Bada today, you were excited to get to know more things about her.
You make it out into the parking lot, walking shortly to your car. You open the back door for Bada and she throws her duffel bag in. You settle into the driverās seat, Bada closing the back door and joining you in the front of the car, buckling herself into the passenger seat.
āSoā¦ Where do you wanna go for our date?ā You ask.
āHm, well, itās starting to get late so wherever we go, we probably canāt stay out for long.ā Bada answers.
You nod in agreement as you start the car. You glance at Bada, curious about where to take her.
Suddenly, you remember the new Japanese restaurant that had opened near the mall.
"I know this Japanese restaurant that serves really good food," you say, turning to Bada. "What do you think about going there?"
She nods, āThat sounds good.ā
"Great!"
You smile and put the car in drive, pulling out of the parking lot. You make small talk for most of the drive, asking Bada about her interests and hobbies. She asks you about yours, and you find yourselves laughing and joking around.
Eventually, you pull up to the restaurant, parking in the lot out front.
You both exit the car as you make sure to lock it. Bada walks towards the door to the restaurant and opens the door for you, nodding at you to go through first.
āOh, thank you!ā You giggle, a small blush heating up your face.
You enter the restaurant, taking in the atmosphere. The place is cozy and intimate, with wooden tables and chairs strewn about. The walls are lined with Japanese art and pottery, while the floor is a sleek mahogany.
A waiter approaches and takes both your orders, leaving you to chat as you wait for your food.
"So," you start, "what made you interested in volleyball?"
You chuckle, trying to get rid of your nervousness.
"It's a long story," Bada answers.
āOkay, well, we have time.āĀ
āWell, I started playing in middle school. Or really, I was forced to play.ā Bada laughs, scratching the back of her neck. āI had so much energy as a kid and my parents couldnāt handle it, so they signed me up for volleyball.ā
āObviously, at first, I didnāt really like it. But then, I met Tae and Seoyoung and they made it fun for me.ā Bada smiles, happy while talking about her friends.
āOkay, it wasnāt really that long.ā She mutters to herself but you canāt get over one thing she said.
āTae?ā You question, an unpleasant feeling rising in your chest.
āTatter.ā Bada answers and you sigh in relief.
Was that jealousy? No way, I just met her.
āDonāt tell her I said this but I think Tatter has a little crush on Seoyoung.ā Bada leans closer to you and whispers, a giddy smile on her face.
You lean in and whisper back, "Oh really?" you murmur with your mouth right next to her ear.
She giggles slightly in response, her cheeks turning a cute pink.
"And why's that? Do you think she has a shot at Seoyoung?" you ask curiously as you look at Bada, your heart warming at her blush.
"I don't know," she whispers back. "Seoyoung is very reserved around us but I get the sense she likes Tae."
"No way," you laugh in disbelief. "Earlier today, I thought she liked you."
āLusher? Liking me?ā Bada laughs, leaning back in her seat.
āMaybe once when we were kids but not since then.ā Bada shakes her head, playfully grimacing at the thought of getting with Lusher.
āDo you think she likes Tae back?ā Bada asks, propping her head up on her hands.
You brush your hair back, quickly thinking of a flirty response, āI donāt know. I was too focused on you the whole game.ā
Bada lets out a girly squeal, a complete opposite to the way she presents herself. You mentally pat yourself on the back for getting a reaction out of her.
"Aww, are you trying to fluster me?" Bada giggles, putting her hands on her face to cover it.
You chuckle, enjoying the playful game of bantering with her, trying to see how many different reactions you can get out of her.
Suddenly, you feel your stomach growl, the scent of food wafting in the air.
At that moment, you realize that your food is finally here. The waiter places the dishes in front of the two of you, the smell almost making your mouth water.
"Dig in," Bada says, quickly starting to devour her meal.
You smile and start eating as well.
"Wow, this food is really good." you say, your mouth full of food.
"Mm, the chef is super talented." Bada replies, her mouth also full of food, a slight amount falling out.
You chuckle and wipe the food away from her face with a napkin, noticing how adorable she looks with her cheeks full of food.
The two of you continue eating, continuing to chat and laugh as the time flies by.
Eventually, you finish your meal and look across the table to see that Bada is nearly finished.
"All right," you say, "I have a big question for you."
Bada lifts her eyebrows.
"Do you want to stay out longer tonight? Maybe we can stop by a cafe or go get ice cream?"
Bada smiles widely, nodding excitedly.
"Sounds like a plan." She says between bites.
You smile and reach across the table, clasping your hand around Bada's.
It's a simple gesture but it feels so intimate to you.
Bada looks up at you with a small smile.
That warmth you felt as you first saw her rushes over your body as you stare into her gaze.
The moment stretches, the two of you lost in each other's eyes.
Suddenly, the moment is cut short as the waiter awkwardly shuffles closer to the table and pulls away your dirty plates.
You and Bada laugh at the waiter's clumsy entrance to your romantic moment, each of you feeling an endearing warmth for each other.
You look around the restaurant, noticing that it is nearly closing time.
"We should get going soon," you say, glancing at your watch.
Bada nods, finishing the last bit of food from her plate.
You pay for the meal and make your way out of the restaurant together.
The two of you walk out of the restaurant hand in hand, the night air nipping at your nose.
You glance over at Bada, noticing how cute and soft her hair looks in the dim moonlight.
"It's been a great night," you say, trying to ignore the blush that has appeared on your face.
She smiles warmly, squeezing your hand. "Same here, I had a lot of fun."
You walk back to the car, pulling her into an embrace as the two of you make your way to your vehicle.
You both sit back down in your car and you turn to Bada, āIce cream?ā
She nods excitedly and reaches over to casually place her hand on the inside of your thigh. You gulp quietly, shifting in your seat. You start the car, trying to think about making it to the ice cream parlor and not Badaās hand on your thigh.
Her large hand spreads across your skin, her thumb starting to rub back and forth across your leg. You squeak in surprise and she rips her hand away.
āOh! Iām sorry! I didnāt mean to make you uncomfortable!ā Bada gasps, placing both of her hands in her lap, gripping the fabric of her sweatpants.
āNo, itās okay! Iā¦ liked it.ā You cough, hesitating before adding the last part of your statement.
"W-what?" Bada stammers, her voice a small whisper and her cheeks a deep crimson.
You take a deep breath, trying to stop your heart from racing.
"We should just... get some ice cream." you say, trying to get the topic of conversation back on track.
Bada looks up at you, a small smile on her lips as she shakes off her embarrassment.
"Okay, that sounds good. I'd love to try a new ice cream place." she says, brushing her bangs out of her face.
You nod and back out of the parking lot, heading toward one of the many ice cream shops in your town.
As you drive, the two of you fall back into comfortable silence, enjoying each other's presence.
After a few minutes, Bada breaks the silence. "So... you liked it when I touched your... thigh?" she says, glancing over at you for a moment before looking back out the window.
Luckily, the light turns red and you stop at the light, shifting in your seat, suddenly nervous all over again.
"I-uh... well, I mean, it was... uhm..."
You search for the right word to describe the feeling you got when Bada touched your thigh, but you can't find any.
Suddenly, you feel her hand brush against the hairs on your leg again. Your breath catches in your throat for a moment, your whole body burning as you glance over at her.
She looks back at you, the moon's light illuminating her beautiful face. Her cheeks are still bright red, but her lips are upturned in the smallest little grin.
You stare back at her for a moment, unable to say a word as your heart races.
Finally, you manage to say, "I... I liked it. "
She smiles and scoots closer to you, still holding your leg.
"I like you," she whispers, her voice barely audible over the sound of the wind on your car.
You take a deep breath, feeling the most intense rush of emotions you've ever felt in your life. You reach over and take her hand, her warmth making your fingers tingle.
āCan we skip the ice cream?ā Bada voices dips into a lower register and shivers run down your body.
The light turns green and you step on the gas, the car jolting with your eagerness. A loud honk comes from the car behind you and you shout, āOops, sorry!ā
Bada laughs and even though you arenāt looking at her, you can feel her eyes raking down your body.
Your mind goes blank as you feel Bada's gaze on you, your heart beating with a primal desire.
You quickly drive to your apartment and park in the lot, your hands trembling as you unbuckle your seatbelt. You get out of the car and run around to her side, grabbing hold of her hand and pulling her towards your apartment.
As the two of you burst through the front door, your lips meet in a passionate kiss.
The rush of euphoria you feel sends a shiver down your spine and butterflies fluttering into your stomach.
āUhm.ā
āWhat the fuck!ā You yell, pushing Bada away from you. You glance over at your couch and find a bewildered Taeyoung lying down, Seoyoung deeply snoozing on her chest.
āOh. Hey!ā You laugh awkwardly, reaching back blindly and closing the front door, locking it.
āHey.ā Taeyoung smiles, her eyes glancing over at Bada.
āTaeyoung.ā Bada laughs, slowly making her way back to your side.
Taeyoung raises an eyebrow as she looks at the two of you, leaning back against the armrest of the couch.
"So," she says, "how was your date with Bada?"
You glance over at Bada and the two of you laugh nervously. Your lips feel tingly from the passionate kiss you just had.
"Oh, it went well." you reply. "Very well."
Taeyoung smirks and you shift awkwardly, looking away.
Seoyoung looks up from her slumber and rubs her eyes, yawning.
āYou might as well just sleep overnight here.ā You suggest hesitantly to Bada, a blush heating up your face.
āOkay.ā She quickly agrees and you grab her by the wrist, pulling her towards your room.
āHey, no funny business!ā Seoyoung exclaims.
āI can say the same to you!ā You shout back before closing the door to your room. Bada giggles and pulls up back into her, tilting your head up for another kiss.
āAnd the first date was a success.ā

Crimson Snow: Mistletoe and Memories āļø
disclaimers: this story contains angst, sad, tension, literally no happy ending feels, drama and it's bada's pov. remember it's a work of fiction, none of this represents what i truly think about bada's/bebe's character or nature! it is meant for fun and entertainment purposes only. also, i'm not a native english speaker and this is my first ever fanfiction so keep that in mind and be nice please. thank you š©µ
Summary: "Old flames, city lights, and buried memories ā Bada Lee, against her own wishes, returns to Incheon for Christmas. Amidst the moonlit whispers and the unyielding snowfall, she's compelled to confront a past she believed buried beneath the frost."
WC: 2.1k
"Yes, mom, i'll be there for Christmas," i muttered into the phone, my voice tinged with a hint of disdain.
"This city gives me the creeps," i ponder.
Incheon is like a patchwork of bitter memories; every street corner bears the weight of choices made and opportunities lost. This place represents a chapter of my life I struggle to bury.
Regrets, disappointmentsāI tried to shove those aside a while ago, or at least attempted to.
Nevertheless, i made a promise to my mother about being there for Christmas. What foolishness it is to commit to something i might not fulfill. Yet, is it too late to reconsider? Can i claim i couldn't secure a flight on time?
Idiot; no turning back now. I wonder how much longer i'll keep evading my past.
"I just wish i don't run into her there," i murmur with a slight tremor in my tone. I knew all too well whom i was talking about.
It's exactly 9 o'clock, my train departs in about 30 minutes. Unfortunately, i'll be in Incheon in a few hours.
"I can't believe you're finally coming back here! I guess i'll have to spend Christmas at your mom's house if that's the case," a sharp, loud feminine voice speaks over the phone; Lusher, a childhood friend.
Lusher has always been with me throughout our high school years and even into adulthood. Despite me moving to Busan a few years ago, we've kept in touch. She always mentions how much she misses me and that i should visit more often, to which i consistently reply, "Maybe someday."
It seems that day has finally come.
"Stop. Don't get too excited; i don't intend to spend much time in this place," I retort, my tone indifferent.
"The entire city already knows you're coming back, Bada."
Briefly, i freeze and fall silent. I only plan to make a short visit to my family, precisely.
"Incheon is wide-ranging; i doubt everyone really knows," I reply, an attempt to reassure myself that my plans won't change.
"Lin knows."
As soon as she counters, i instinctively hang up the phone, my back colliding with the seat of the moving train.
This definitely cannot be happening.
I was praying fervently not to encounter her during my time in Incheon, and i hope it stays that way. Regardless, she wouldn't want to see me after all these years... no, she hates me. I hope she hates me.
It felt like time stood still; i couldn't tell whether i had plunged into a deep sleep during those four hours of travel or if i had ended up in a temporal lapse. I open my eyes, and there's Incheon Station outside the window.
The time has come to face this city once again, with people bustling around, knee-deep in Christmas preparations just hours away.
I step off the train, grab my luggage, and find myself compelled to smile at strangers who somehow recognized me, waving as they passed. Perhaps they did, considering i gained some visibility after opening my dance studio in Busan. Or maybe it's simply because i am notably taller than the average Korean women; either of these reasons would be plausible.
My eyes scan the surroundings, searching for a familiar figure in the crowd. Mom said she would be waiting at the end of the station, my next stop.
"Bada!" Someone yells my name amid that human sea, resembling canned sardines.
My older sister came to greet me, slightly shorter than me, with a delicate and sweet appearance framed by her impeccably cared-for dark brown hair and welcoming smile.
"Haeda!" i respond, happy to see a familiar face, rushing to hug her.
"Mom couldn't come; she's busy with preparations for the dinner later," she shares, helping me with the luggage. "Lots of people are excited to see you, little sister! We're glad you've come back."
"I haven't come back; i'm just joining you for this Christmas season," I respond seriously, making it clear my stay won't extend beyond Christmas.
"You've always been a bit grumpy, haven't you?" she laughs, teasingly.
Finally out of the station, we settle into a taxi. During the ride, we chat casually and laugh about things that happened during our time apart. I'm trying to have some fun as much as possible.
"So, how's your love life?" she asks, innocently.
Oh, crap.
"I don't really want to get into that," i reply, slightly irritated by the question. The fun and nice atmosphere that surrounded us moments ago seems to have abruptly evaporated.
"Seems like you still think about Lin," she murmurs softly to herself, sighing calmly, yet i hear her loud and clear.
I arch my eyebrows, surprised and bothered by Haeda's comment. I plan to stay silent, but i can't resist.
"Why do you always bring her into everything? It's been years since we last spoke; she was just a kid. Now, forget about it," i assert firmly aiming to put an end to the subject once and for all. The silence in the taxi becomes deafening.
Not even five minutes pass, and i ask the taxi make an unscheduled stop.
"Aren't you going home?" my sister inquires, confused.
"I promised to have lunch with Lusher; there's a cafƩ around here," i reply, still maintaining a slight arrogance in my voice.
"I'll drop your bags off at home then," she understands, nodding.
I step out of the vehicle and grab my phone, immediately calling Lusher, asking her to meet me where i am. She agrees without a second thought.
A short time passes, and i spot a girl of average height, black hair, always smiling, with a high-pitched voice that stands out in the crowd. She runs towards me as soon as she sees me.
"Is that really you, Bada? It's been ages since i saw you. Have you grown even more?" Lusher enthusiastically hugs me, talking without even taking a breath.
"Looks like you're still talkative... and no, of course, i haven't grown more. I'm already 26. Now I'm just going to shrink," i reciprocate her warm hug as we head to the cafƩ.
"Tell me, how's Busan? How's your studio doing? I want the whole scoop!"
"We don't have time for me to give you the full rundown. Overall, the city is comfy, and the studio is doing well," i say, a bit curt; i'm not one to drag out my words.
"That's it? Nothing interesting happening?" she says in a frustrated sigh, still curious about my life.
"I know where you're going with this, miss Lusher, but i'm not commenting on that. I'm kind of fed up with this topic," i respond, making my exasperation clear.
We lapsed into silence for a few minutes until someone finally spoke up; she seemed nervous.
"Listen, i messaged Lin yesterday." She pauses, intending to continue talking.
Lin, Lin, LināI'm tired of hearing that name.
"She seems to want to talk to you," Lusher finishes, taking a sip of her coffee.
"Unfortunate. I've already stated that I'm only here for Christmas with my family," i halt, clenching my fists, wanting to say more but finding myself unable.
"Bada, you know she was deeply hurt after you left." Lusher attempts to ease the situation. "After all, you left without telling anyone, not even me."
"I didn't have to tell anyone. I've said that before; new opportunities arose, and that's what happened. Am I to blame for considering my future?" I say, feeling a slight warmth in my body due to the anger this topic brings up
"There's no issue with you wanting to pursue your dreams; the problem was leaving her in the dark out of nowhere. I think you should talk."
"Lusher, i've had enough. I don't owe her any explanations, it's over. I've paved my own way, and she's chosen hers, end of story." Rising abruptly, i toss money on the table for Lusher to settle the bill and i make a swift exit.
I sense Lusher's gaze on me, even though i haven't cast a glance back after leaving the place.
This is why i hate this cityāthe people, the environment, everything reminds me of her. I despise it; I despise being so coward and weak, unable to endure an environment where her name lingers. Tears stream down my face as i silently reassure myself, "The past is the past; it'll be fine."
It won't be fine.
For quite a while, i just roam around the city, immersed in the festive Christmas decorations and the chilly yet pleasant atmosphere. Families stroll along snow-covered roads, little cafes are buzzling with events, and everyone radiates happiness, caught up in the joy of being togetherāwhile i meander alone. I'm the odd one out here.
The city lights gradually begin to flicker on, signaling the encroaching darkness. It's time to head home for the Christmas Eve feast, but before that, i need something to ease my stress.
I head to a nearby convenience store, searching for a pack of cigarettes. I randomly choose any available brand, pay, and head towards a secluded alley.
Turns out, i'm not the only one there; a woman next to me doing the same, and i can't quite see her face. I shake my pockets, searching for my lighter.
"Fuck..." i mutter softly as i lean against the wall, frustrated.
Suddenly, i notice something fall to the ground, accompanied by words.
"Pick it up," the woman, slightly mysterious but oddly familiar, says, tossing the lighter onto the snow-covered ground.
I quickly bend down to grab it. "Thanks," I express promptly, attempting to say something more. "Do you come here often?"
"Sometimes, only when i think about my ex." She pulls the cigarette calmly, allowing the smoke to envelop her face in a thin mist. An ephemeral cloud of smoke slowly wafts around me.
"We're in the same boat," i muse, giving a little laugh at her comment. "Does your ex smoke?"
"Since I've known her. She was always cautious so i wouldn't end up like her; nevertheless, here i am," she narrates with a tense tone.
"You shouldn't smoke; judging by your voice, you've quit for a long time. You should stop while you still can," i suggest while lighting my cigarette with the borrowed lighter.
"Look who wants to give me a moral lecture," she laughs, mocking. The whole situation is ironic.
"Pfft, you don't even know me; you probably think i'm a hypocritical smoker," i admit, in a casual tone.
"Definitely."
"Maybe i really am, but I still have feelings!" I laugh, playfully.
She seems serious now, and we stay silent for a few seconds.
"Have you ever thought about your ex's feelings when you two broke up?" she inquires, finishing her last drag before dropping the cigarette on the ground and crushing it under her foot.
I remain motionless, confused, and unsure of how to respond.
"I'm just messing with you; after all, i don't even know you." She lets out a nervous laugh before completely disappearing into the darkness of that dimly lit alley.
"I'm home," i announce, slipping off my shoes and opening the door.
My mother greets me with a smile as she sets the dining table with the help of my father and sister.
"You're here! It's so good to see you, dear," my mother smiles warmly and hugs me. The scent of kimchi fills the air; she must have been cooking for a long time.
"What's that smell of smoke..." She makes a disgusted face, and i quickly plan an excuse.
"There were some delinquents smoking in the streets; the smell must have clung to me," i say cautiously.
"Looks delicious," i observe the meal on the table after greeting everyone present, trying to change subjects. Despite my reservations about Incheon and the memories this city brings, i feel welcomed and relieved with my family by my side.
"Let's eat!" My father exclaims, excitedly, sitting down and preparing to enjoy the eagerly anticipated tteokguk, a unique skill of my mother.
A few minutes were left for the long-awaited December 25th, and the countdown unfolded gradually.
"I'm eager to know what you brought for us from Busan, little sister!"
"Did i have to bring a present?" I laugh ironically, joking. "Just kidding, i'm sure you guys will like it!"
1 minute to the 25th.
"Wow, i can already hear the neighbors starting the countdown," my sweet and dear mother says.
A sound echoes at the door.
"Knock, knock."
30 seconds to the 25th.
"Oh, let me get that!" I quickly get up from my seat and head to the door.
10 seconds to the 25th.
I grab the keys and swiftly unlock the door, while my family had already started the countdown.
"5... 4... 3... 2... 1..."
I can't believe who is on the other side of the door.
"Lin?"
"Merry Christmas!" the whole family celebrates in unison as i stand there, paralyzed, looking at my former love standing right in front of me.
aaand we're done! i don't know if i should make it a series or not since i'm the lazy type but lmk! also tysm for @/kiyaedits for the dividers. i hope you enjoyed this as much as i did, thank you for reading. āļø

How about Bada lee angst based from a song, exile - Taylor swift. Bada in Bon iver pov while reader's Taylor. Sorry if there's any mistakes in my grammar, English is not my first language
Exile
Pairing: Bada Lee x idol! reader
Synopsys: you and Bada meet at the the W party after your break up
Warnings: angst
Notes: i love writing based on songs apparently. ty anon for requesting this and i hope you enjoy!!
ā¦ . ćāŗ ć . ā¦ . ćāŗ ć . ā¦
She couldnāt say she didnāt expect you to be here. The W party meant famous guests and a great chance to networking. Bada would lie if she said a part of her was not happy to see you after so long. But she didnāt expect you to be on a manās arm. And you were ironically enough sitting at the same table just across each other.
I can see you standing, honey
With his arms around your body
Laughinā, but the jokeās not funny at all
You were your ever charming self, paying attention to every word he said, laughing whenever he made some stupid jokes even a middle school kid would find cringe. You were wearing a classic little black dress that fit your body like a glove. You were as gorgeous as she remembered. Of course she saw you everywhere; makeup advertising, promoting your new song, thirst traps on tiktok. You havenāt been in touch for a while but she always kept an eye on you, no matter how ugly things ended between the two of you.
Now you showed up here with that creature. He wasnāt even handsome. It took her utmost control to keep smiling and navigate through all those people, exchange compliments as a possible beginning for future projects. But you were always somewhere in the corner of her vision, introducing your partner to people. Fans on the internet were saying it was just promotions for your new role in a drama. Other people said you were dating for real. She couldnāt tell.
And it took you five whole minutes
To pack us up and leave me with it
Holdinā all this love out here in the hall
She showed her cool self as always, although, as she stepped on the carpet in front of all the cameras, the lights blinded her and for a moment she felt like running. Bada was still in love with you, she was very much aware of it. As she walked to the sea of people, finding familiar faces that brought her comfort, she tried to hide the toll your presence was taking on her mood. You were the one who broke up with her after all, she could find the minimal amount of dignity left in her to look fine at least.
She couldnāt ignore you though. You worked together before and everyone knew you were close. You flashed her a dangerously frozen smile, large and perfect, the kind you had to rehearse for. On the outside it looked friendly and excited but behind your eyes was emptiness. She waved her hand back at you from the distance, faking excitement. Your partner must have known her because he waved too, eager to get to know Bada Lee, the dancer with all the spotlight on her at the moment. You dragged him somewhere else, away from her.
I think Iāve seen this film before
And I didnāt like the ending
Youāre not my homeland anymore
So what am I defending now?
Bada knew she had no right to be jealous. Your relationship was over a long time ago. But the seed of hope buried in her heart gave birth to the thought of talking to you alone. You had broken up several times and made up the moment you stumbled upon each other again. Maybe this could be one of those times when you would realize you loved her more than your ego allowed you to.
The hardest part was finding out you were seated at the same table, across each other nonetheless. She was well aware that death stares at your partner would be obvious. So she looked at you instead. Elegant and delightful, you looked around carefully, making sure you greeted everyone around the table while maintaining your graceful posture. Badaās stare softened, remembering seeing you after schedule, when you would throw away your high heels and devour the biggest portion of instant ramen she had at home. Carefree and natural, loud and dramatic, full of life. Thatās how she knew you. And she knew that behind the meticulously planned behavior you displayed, you were still the same girl she fell for. But you werenāt together anymore.
Ā Taking another sip of champagne, she quietly went backstage to change her outfit for the performance. She had to let go of these regretful thoughts that didnāt fit at all with her dance tonight. She had to be powerful and charming, deliver what the people liked. What you liked.
I can see you starinā, honey
Like heās just your understudy
Like youād get your knuckles bloody for me
You noticed Badaās eyes were lost lingering on your figure. You were used to people staring at you, especially when you were the main attraction in an expensive outfit at the top of the guest list. But her eyes always unsettled you.
It wasnāt a surprise for you that she was here. After all you had friends working at W who generously updated you with the full guest list before the event. But by the time you found out she was going to be here too it was too late to talk to your manager and go without a partner. You had to promote your upcoming drama in every way possible. But you wished you could have been here alone in front of her.
You noticed, of course you noticed how she was staring at him, questions popping in her head. You knew her better than you knew yourself. And maybe thatās why you werenāt together anymore. Had it not been this time and place, she would have started messing the poor man up out of jealousy. But he had no fault. He was a young guy with a dream of making it big, having just landed the role of his life with you.
Second, third, and hundredth chance
Balancinā on breaking branches
Those eyes add insult to injury
You looked back at her a couple of times across the table, trying to hide the hurricane of feelings in your chest. How many unresolved issues you had? You stopped counting long ago. Her eyes were cloudy and lost, at times it seemed like she was looking through you. She never tried hard enough to make it work, and loving each other like crazy was not enough to fix things. Or was it?
She seemed happy and excited to be here, you followed her at all times form under your lashes. You were proud of her for winning the competition, but any more than the simple congratulatory text you had sent her would have pushed you back in the same cycle. Breaking up and making up like none of you could make up their mind for good.
I think Iāve seen this film before
And I didnāt like the ending
Iām not your problem anymore
So who am I offending now?
Although you were at work, although all eyes were on you, although you havenāt spoken in months, although she never listened to your complaints, she was looking at you like you belonged to her. Like you betrayed her by showing up with someone else. You wished she would just look the other way so it would be easier for the both of you. Instead, you had to play this stupid game of looking like the total opposite of what you were feeling, deciphering each otherās body language and fake smiles, pushing through the shock of seeing each other in order to portray the role you had to play.
When she performed she was breathtaking like she always was to you. Her facial expressions, the way she would enjoy the song, play along with the audience, her flirty looks for the camera all of those things melted your heart once again, after months and months of trying to lock it up.
I think Iāve seen this film before
And I didnāt like the ending
You cheered for her. You had been supporting her all this time from afar anyway. But you could sense the shift in your heart and recognize the same pattern that always led to your making up. You swore to her on the night you broke up that it was the last time. You simply couldnāt work out. With every time you went back to each other your issues grew deeper and deeper the more you avoided talking about them.
You quietly excused yourself to the bathroom after the performance, a perfect moment to disappear unnoticed. You took a good look at yourself in the mirror. Perfect, without a single trace of the pain you felt inside.
So step right out, there is no amount
Of crying I can do for you
You had ran out of tears long ago. You only needed time to breathe, a break from the theatre play you had been performing tonight. You could go back makeup untouched, voice cheerful in any minute. Because you werenāt going to cry because of her.
I couldnāt turn things around
āCause you never gave a warning sign
Bada was taken over by the people requesting pictures and sharing impressions on their performance. She saw you watching, she was sure, but where did you disappear now? She never knew what you were up to, what you were truly feeling or thinking. You knew so well how to hide the ugly aspects of life that you hid from her too, even unintentionally. She couldnāt know you were in the bathroom almost crying because you never looked the least affected by her.
Your partner showed up in front of her, as he had been waiting in line to get the chance to exchange some words of admiration. Bada greeted him politely, like any other person. He seemed to know nothing of your history.
Now Iām in exile, seeinā you out
You appeared out of nowhere, grabbing him by the arm, apologizing once again for disappearing. As close as you were, the closest you had been the entire night, you felt like an invisible wall separated the two of you. It was your cue, your turn to tell her how amazing she was on the stage. Your lines were already thought and well aligned with the social script like always.
āI canāt wait to watch your new drama.ā She took you by surprise, and you lost your composure for a moment. Your partner laughed and thanked her. You wanted to reach out and grab her hand run away right then.
Now Iām in exile, seeinā you out
But there was this wall between you, separating what you had been from what you were now. Ā
āYouāre as good at dance as I remember.ā You chimed in, earning a shy smile from her as she looked to the ground, thanking you. Thatās all you could do. āSee you around, Bada.ā You said, your voice taken over by the nostalgia you had been feeling the entire night. The words weighted heavier than you had planned in your head and you wondered whether it was a mistake.
āIāll be around for sure.ā She said. The other members of Bebe called for her to take a group picture. With awkward smiles and lingering eyes that yearned for each other you both turned around, tending to your own business.
