MCU Locations: Sanctum Sanctorum

Address in the MCU: 177A Bleecker St, New York, NY 10012.

According to the MCU, it is located at the intersection of Bleecker and Sullivan Streets in Greenwich Village:

But unlike Avengers Tower, this place and the surrounding area are nothing like that in real life:

Instead of our Bleeker and Sullivan, their MCU versions are our W 4th and W 12th streets:

And the real-life address is 280 W 12th St, New York, NY 10014.

The difference can be explained by the name swapping. The history of New York in the MCU is slightly different from the real one, so it’s easy to imagine that other streets would have received these names under different circumstances.

Distance to:

Central Park - ~58 hour walk, ~30 min drive, 0 min teleportation. Avengers Tower - ~52 min walk, ~20 min drive, 0 min teleportation.

I think she took his slingy? Can’t be sure though. 

I tried redrawing this iconic scene from Multiverse of Madness in the Chris Bachalo / Way of the Weird style. Way of the weird will forever be a staple and the foundation carrying my Doctor Strange obsession, I freaking adore those comics. Easily my favorite run in the history of ever and I will never not praise it because it’s so underrated. 

Anywho, it’s nowhere near as flawless and whimsical as Chris Bachalo’s works, but I think this will be a fun thing to redraw in the future if I study his style more so- attempt one (maybe?).
