Client Challenges
After watching the implementation video, challenges may arise with clients when it comes to adapting to social media platforms that you may not be familiar with, never used, or learning about tools that were there, but were just discovered. In my clients case, I do not think it will be that difficult to implement such changes into his business. The best part about the situation is the fact that my client has basically laid the foundation of how his social media platforms should operate, but in real life and way before social media was even thought of. Mass collaboration existed between my client and the partners or people he has worked with all his life. The only thing left to do is to transfer all those network connections into the social media spotlight within the platforms of his choice. Although explaining how everything will collaborate together when platforms are fully functional will take time, and demonstrating how my client will be able to spectate the results of his platforms will take some getting used to as well. Overall my client is excited about the new changes being implemented into his business and the future looks very bright.

Do or Die Content & Opinions
Inside the idea of innovation and technology today, anyone with wif-fi can post and interact with others on social media platforms. This implies businesses drawing in viable substance. This is basic in solidifying your situation in a market among potential contenders. Having quality substance takes into consideration the capacity to make dependable and confiding bonds involved with clients. These perspectives all join to advance a positive online network or stage for all included. As indicated by the Hootsuite modules, it guarantees that your substance lines up with the business systems and spotlights on the blueprint of organizing, making, and appropriating. Arrangement of existing techniques is basic since it gives content makers a rule and a feeling of estimation with respect to how their substance ought to be made and appraised. The coordination alludes to actualizing content schedule with the end goal of predictable and sorted out posting. The idea of posting implies it must be imaginative and connecting with for clients. The conveyance channel alludes to how the post will be shared dependent on the sort of substance and to who you are endeavoring to reach. Associations must consider these angles as it is their obligation as online network hosts to keep up and advance a solid and dynamic condition. This is finished by correspondence, advancements, and drawing in content. An online stage have must have a feeling of association and consistency so as to guarantee content is precise and modern. By and large, if associations don't pursue the possibility of objective arrangement or courses of action, they are neglecting to address the issues and wants of devotees, which brings about an ineffectual online stage.
I like to believe that the creators of my favorite PC game League of Legends, Riot Co. has done an amazing job with their social media postings and content that keeps the community updated with new releases, deals, events and merchandise. This brings the community together for great debates on whats best or worse, what needs to be done, and what possibly is in store for us in the future of the game. Also their social media platforms encourages people to come up with character designs, art work, and comic con events for cosplay.

Issues with people and Social Media
Social media has been and will steadily become dominant in our society and people will increasingly cause more issue. Indeed there are issues with cyberbullying and other harmful motives that individuals can make through internet based life stages. Be that as it may, the principle issue is identified with protection, this may not appear it on the grounds that a rupture of security is truly not known until it is past the point of no return.
A major worry on all levels are is the rupture of protection identifying with individual information. Web based life stages will attack their client's security by gathering that information without them knowing, this is then given to organizations so as to demonstrate pertinent promotions to individuals. The issue with this is individuals accept this is a break of security. While it might appear as a rupture of protection, this is done legitimately and the client's have acknowledged these terms. Individuals take a gander at this as an awful thing, however on the off chance that nothing was followed, at that point we would not utilize online life stages in view of the irregular advertisements that could never be applicable to every client.
The issues took a gander at by organizations ought to be this equivalent issue. They should collaborate with these internet based life stages and put forth a valiant effort to kill the battle against the information following and providing. This is really something worth being thankful for, this is something beneficial for clients themselves yet additionally for organizations. Organizations set aside a lot of money in showcasing and publicizing since they would now be able to demonstrate advertisements to important leads rather than somebody with zero potential enthusiasm for the business' items. The second issue organizations need to tend to is the endorsement of misrepresentation organizations' advertisements. I myself have been casualty of a phony business posting an advertisement on Facebook and acquiring one of their items. Fortunately I utilized PayPal so I got my cash back. This is a risk to organizations since they are missing out on shoppers and potential customers in light of the fact that the notoriety of the items has been pulverized given the misrepresentation.

Online Community Growth
Ch 4 examined the significance of creating a dream for a specific community, which reflects successful standards for empowering people. The text clarified that a dream articulation gives people focus that will gear them towards a realization. To make a legitimate vision, one must comprehend when network joint effort is applicable, apply a comprehension of your association's objectives/culture, and specialty/circulate an authoritative vision for network coordinated effort. Inside a network, it is critical to figure out where network joint effort is increasingly appropriate. It functions admirably in networks that have group cooperation, autonomous clients, decent variety, and development.
Ch 5 discussed building up a great strategy to deal with community collaboration. This system is significant for growing a specific social group. All groups need a reason to be dedicated in order to contribute to working with other individuals. A goal or purpose creates incentive for the individuals. The text additionally discussed the No, Go, Grow Model. No=the choice isn't being advanced, in any case, with the Go+Develop=the choice moves into a portfolio. The portfolio is the primary result of an association's locale cooperation technique. This truly facilitates the reason for a gathering and further the capability of a gathering. These are the compelling rules that help to grow a gathering via social media even further.
Hootsuite has been a very helpful guide as to how to create and manage an online community and has showed me how to further my growth through specific modifications and tweaks to appeal to my audience. Well established relationships with the help of positive influencers can help an organization achieve greater appearance and overall increased networking output. Just like in any economy where business thrives, your loyal customers are you greatest asset. To create and online community requires heart, work, and most of all dedication. These things do not happen overnight, but with a little bit of consistency and the right minds it may just possibly happen.

“Legal” side of Big Data
The vast majority know that user data might be in danger due to big data in our society as of today. In spite of this, organizations and buyers likewise should be informed. Inside the business range, organizations are responsible for their own data, however and that of their clients now and again as well. The video referenced hacks to organizations, for example, Target that brought about data on clients and the business being taken. Organizations should know about potential dangers on their huge information since they are attempting to ensure their clients. In the event that a business is dependent upon a hack or loss of security, they could be losing their upper hand. Hence, organizations must know about where they are putting away data and what powers they have set up so as to counteract any dangers. It is fundamental for a business to perceive who approaches the very information that could hurt them. Having a superior program and strategy set up will help expel a portion of the hazard that accompanies huge information.
Inside the consumer perspective, they should know consistently when engaging with all technology and software's. Their information progresses toward becoming in danger by essentially surfing the web. Sites and web stages will attempt to persuade clients to give more data information with persistent easy steps and convenience and empowering the associating of gadgets. This may appear to be helpful, however buyers are not constantly mindful that they might be willingly giving out their cell number email address or photos. Customers must figure out how to turn out to be increasingly private on the web through being particular of their decisions. An inquiry history or a membership could open a shopper up to hacks from an assortment of sources.
The idea of big data may appear to be useful on the surface due to the fact that it takes into consideration comfort of capacity and makes suggested look through calculations. In spite of this however, organizations and shoppers the same are opening themselves up to a risk in light of the fact that not all gatherings mean well. So as to discover an exercise in careful control in enormous information, clients must turn out to be increasingly proactive in their web lives. By executing countermeasures such as background checks or researching a sites trust. Organizations and buyers must explain their concurrences with different gatherings to best comprehend what is in question. By having a superior comprehension of agreements, working on policing of records, and being proactive, everybody turns out to be less powerless against the dangers inside huge information.

Machines and Programs Shape Society
When it comes to Social Media and the News, I like to believe they are very much best friends and will continue to be forever. With multiple social media platforms people are able to portray and manipulate a controversial event of topic however they please. What makes this worse is having the same information cycled through every individuals social media timeline depending on who and what content they are associated with. Overall what we see and when we see it is determined by Algorithms, Advertising, and Exposure.
Social media relies heavily on algorithms that select and prioritize what content we “might” want to see while attempting to maximize our engagement with that specific content plus our time. This has tremendously limited the amount of information that we as users are able to see unless shared or heard about from another person. After reading this article the crazy part is how these algorithms make these decisions on their own, by personalizing content and tailoring search results to reflect our own interests, or that what we like to believe. Also I don not agree with the algorithms having the power to exclude information on certain news and political matters that truly need to see the sunlight. The excluded information could be the determining factor on two sides seeing an agreement or flipping both perspective views.
Advertisement has become quite aggressive as the years go by and social media has not made it any easier on us. social media has made it extremely easy for business to target ads to specific groups of people due to the buying and selling of user data. But this is exactly why social media is free because when we sign up we actually pay with our personal information on our profiles and through the content we like, post, and share. Adding to this, content that goes viral and actors who target people are misleading and easily taps into peoples emotions. Depending on the content that goes viral, this can lead to “click baiting” and potentially can conflict with any individuals morals or views.
Last, but certainly not least is the topic of exposure. There is a common practice among the human population to share information or content that aligns with their existing beliefs. As a great example from the article of an election scenario, people will only be selective towards the information because of their ideology being aligned with the content they are subscribed to. When on board with a specific candidate, people will choose to only see the positive despite what other facts or opinions may float around.
-A great example would be the election of 2008 when Obama was running against John McCain. Reporters went to extreme lengths to find dirt on Obama. The one emphasized the most was his major old habit of smoking in late 20s early 30s. Those people who liked Obama did not care what habits he has or currently was working on, they still voted for him despite all that was being said about him.
Overall this is my opinions and feelings on the subject and ultimately believe that the algorithm system be tweaked to not heavily filter content so that all may be seen by the public. Majority of the human population do not care about the exposure of information they give out on the daily, but if i had to give a recommendation of an action, i’d say to stop indulging on social media with your personal content and business need to stop selling personal info of society around to other businesses and rely on true advertisement, because at the end of the day people will gravitate towards what they like or want.

Consulting of Social Media
The most important qualities I believe a social media consultant should have are knowledge of social media marketing, having the ability to align yourself with business goals, producing results efficiently, the willingness to learn on the job, adaptability, passion for consulting, and a clear understanding of the industry your working for. As a consultant you must have at least the basic understanding of social media networks and how they function to know which platform will best suit that business. Posting content and gaining followers isn’t enough, but knowing how to tie business objectives an goals with social media will guide you towards the right strategy approach. A good consultant will have a great online presence, with a good number of followers on their network and with the social media game changing constantly with new apps being produced constantly, a consultant must be willing to learn how they function and can benefit someones business.
If I were a social media consultant to myself, I honestly have no clue on what advice to tell myself, but I do have a clear goal in mind of what I would like to do. Since I love gaming, working out, and cooking, I thought about becoming a streamer and a physique model. So the advice I would give to myself would be to collaborate with the platforms of Instagram, Snap Chat, and YouTube/Twitch to post videos/pics of my workouts, delicious meals that were cooked, my gaming experience and overall life around those areas. My younger sister has an Instagram page of vegan meals she cooks and she also like to workout, so collaborating with her could increase my follower base as well and help promote my own social media presence.
So far I have established an Instagram page and Snap Chat has been running for awhile, but have yet to start on the YouTube and Twitch platforms. In the near future I must setup those other platform accounts and begin creating content of that part of my life, since I have good amount of followers on my existing accounts.

UNBELIEVABLE DATA MINING
After watching the Data Brokers video, I have come to realize the excessive amount of power that is held among the company we rely on and trust today. As mentioned in the video, a very small percentage of consumer know about the information that is being collected about them when they surf they internet from site to site and through their smartphones that track our every moment through location on a daily basis. During my time in high school i began to realize when downloading simple gaming apps or social media apps when they were emerging as the new big thing, that a small message would appear before the initial installment stating that this app will have access to your private information such as gps, photo gallery, and contact lists. I consulted friends after awhile to see what their opinions were on the matter and they brushed it off saying that this is just for adding friends faster or for uploading pictures directly from your phone onto your game easier, but i had a feeling that this was not the case. This can give the wrong impression of who someone may actually seem to be or could lead to stalking issue not only from companies, but from potential hackers as well. Abusing such power can very much lead to the lost of trust from a mass number of consumers and create a type of fear that we are constantly being watched 24/7 (which we already are, but people fail to realize the extent of the problem). Like the chairman and CEO of Epsilon said, “People fail to realize that the internet is one big advertising and marketing tool” and it hides behind sites who has multiple companies that are in our default browsers extracting data based on the sites we have been. Its somewhat terrifying to know that we are not only being watched by our own government, but as well as multiple companies as well. This needs to come to a halt and information that we are willing to give out should be enough for companies trying to reach their potential target markets.
As for the internet itself, business models use this to surveillance user or consumers through their highly effective advertisements. As a great example in my case of being a gamer, everywhere I go whether it be YouTube, Instagram, or online TV streaming sites there is an advertisement for mobile games or console games in the coming months. This is all thanks to the past games i may have downloaded or the sites such as Game Stop where I go to purchase games may have had an effective impact of many these companies. These business use this to their advantage by continually throwing the type of ads a specific user may have interest in to lead them to collect more data on what type of person you might be. Companies call it effective advertising, but I like to call it stalking.

SOCIAL MEDIA 25/8??????
For my Social Media experiment I chose to utilize the 2nd option and of creating 3 8 hour periods where I would try to increase my presence online by dedicating my time to social media usage or other platforms that are along the lines of social media like “YouTube” or “Twitch”. This was going out of my comfort zone from my usual habits so challenges to me are fun. My time frame was set up from Friday 12pm-8pm where i took an hour break between 8pm and 9pm, then 9pm-6am, and finally waking back up Saturday doing 12pm-8pm.
FRIDAY
I woke up Friday eager to start my quest on binging social media and luckily for me my siblings on the other side of the country were already blowing my phone up on SnapChat. So there I was laying in bed replying to my sisters and seeing how their day was going so far in the morning exchanging snap texts, snap videos, and snaps. While chatting with them i would scroll through my whole friends list and watch all their stories which I rarely do and often found myself repeating the same lines, “you so silly” and chuckling. Adding to the entertainment, my good friend Shelby snapped me and boy did we have a fire convo! We snapped about homework procrastination to espresso shots to battling babies( don’t know how we got on the baby topic but we did) and white claw drinks. My eye began to from staring at the screen for so long that I finally left my bed and washed up for the day and this was around 3:45pm. From 4-6pm I stayed on SnapChat and scrolled through the news feed and watching videos related to videos games such as Pokemon, Legend of Zelda, and the new Sonic the Hedgehog movie that looks abysmal on the direction they decided to take the storyline, characters, and Sonic's powers, thus creating a complete disaster. Finishing off my 1st 8hr period, I ventured over to Twitch to watch popular gamers stream their games and rant about their daily lives such as Tyler 1, Imaqtpie, VoyBoy and Yassuo. If you want to troll around I highly advise entering the chat rooms of those streamers as I did, it will be worth your while. After those brutal 8hrs my eyes and fingers were burning and aching so i rested from 8pm-8:59pm and started again at 9pm. Things toned down a bit once 9pm rolled around, so I decided to strictly stick to scrollin and no typing and ventured onto Instagram and Facebook. I alternated between the two platforms so that I wouldn’t lose interest and fall asleep, but ultimately ended up dozing off from time to time for like 3-5min increments, which increased to 5-10min increments once the a.m. began to roll around.
SATURDAY
For Saturday i tried to begin things the same way, but my sisters were busy so I started where i left off on Instagram. I Blew 2hrs on Instagram looking at adorable dogs and cats, but none could top my precious cat. I spent most of this day hanging out with my cousin who’s also my roommate this year, so I ended up documenting our whole day with snap videos. Sometimes he would know when I was filming and the best times were when he didn’t know. I ended up sending the the moments he didn’t know to random people on my friends list who ended up sending responses to his actions and stating that he had to follow through or what decisions he needed to make. I felt like a true film director this day and was satisfied with my results of social media usage, because fortunately for me this went on until 10pm.
In conclusion, I found that having spent so much time on social to have wasted a bit of my day, but some good experiences with other people occurred which made me happy during those times. Will I increase my usage? NOPE. Will I continue secretly filming people? YES.

Before the Internet
I am a millennial born in 1995, so my life is consisted of the best of both worlds with the growing up without the use of high tech items and the transition to the technology age. I used to think that the dial internet was the greatest invention ever with all the new websites coming out such as “Ask Jeeves, AOL, Google, and even the creation of Google maps”. But mostly it was used for my mothers work as a school teach/Admin at Detroit public schools and on the weekends i could play games. I didn’t receive my first cell phone until 6th-7th grade which was the introduction of the Razor and Blackberry which were the most amazing pieces of technology, and looking around now with how far we have come to face timing, truly is amazing.
SOCIAL MEDIA INFLUENCE
Social media used to slightly have an influence in my life due to the fact that all my friends from middle through high school were also nudging me to create a Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat when they all were created in their specified timeline. Truly i was never the type of kid to care too much about followers or posting events happening everyday in my life as it seemed to be such a hassle to keep up with. Having the privilege of viewing another persons lifestyle was interesting to see as i grasped a little deeper understanding of who some people were, but it was not always true. I tended to stay in my lane and would post pictures of my family and I or of a place that i thought to have a beautiful scene that people make want to take a look at, but that was it or keeping in contact with friends i had moved away from (I moved 5 times in my life from elementary-high school) which was nice, but overall i thought social media to be amusing and boring at times and rarely use it anymore unless its to speak with long distant friends and family.
INTERNET AT YOUR FINGER TIPS
The ability to constantly use the internet not only from your laptops/desktop, but your phone is quite astonishing. This means that unlimited amounts of information that you could learn is always in your grasps, which is why people always asked if you have “Googled it”. This helps out in numerous way such as knowing the origins of a country you may want to visit one day, helping out with homework for school, looking up cooking recipes, or even browsing for entertaining videos to laugh at with friends. But with great power comes great responsibility and I say this because there are also a lot of bad you can do with the internet at your finger tips which people tend to abuse on the daily, with hurting others feelings, spreading nasty rumors, or twisting the image of a person or place that you have never personally experienced.
NO ACCESS???!!!!
Well the most times i remember not having access to the internet were before there was even internet to do things on so that explanation would be easy for me. But when not having access to it, I wouldn’t die or cry about it like the many people of the generation behind me does nowadays when they think they are stuck in an awkward situation and are able to just hop on their phone and randomly scroll through social media( when its really not though). I do what I always do, enjoy those who are around me at the time if i know them or take in the scene around me of whats offered or keep to myself. I think not having access to it all the time can be a good thing because the social skills of our society has plummeted drastically due to having tech at the finger tips, but mainly for the generation behind the millennial's, but whats lost can always be found again.
Sherry Turkle
I truly enjoyed reading Sherry’s article before the internet as it brought back some great memories of myself and friends running up to the door of someones house asking if they could come outside and play that day. But I really like the fact that she touched on the notion of how you could create your identity each and every time you would move to another location in the country and basically start a new life. Thats what a truly life of privacy was back then, but nowadays anyone can look up your profile and see what your all about and what your interests are before you are able to explain to them who you truly are and that other stuff being just a small part of your life. Overall i think social media and the internet should be used in moderation and people should embrace the environment around them and stay intact with their social skills so there would be less “awkward situations” between each other.

The Intro by Stefan ft. Stefan
Hey what's up everybody, this is ya host Stefan. A little bit about myself, well I was born and raised in the great city of Detroit and I wouldn't have it any other way. No hobbies at the moment, but I enjoy cooking, sleeping, playing with my cat and sister's dog, video games, anime(if you ain't hip ya better start because its lit), and spending time with my family. Oh and I'm also an ENT major and HSA minor if ya wanted to know and network. My career goal, well i have a few, but the main would be to own and run my restaurant(homestyled, fresh organic non gmo products, locally grown products) and travel the world to digest the many cultures I know so little about. Finally, what I hope to accomplish in my blog is to connect with everyone who is willing to be as open as I am and learn from each other, so nothing to extreme. The company I believe that is great with its use of social media would be "Riot Games"- www.riotgames.com. The company creates an atmosphere that welcomes people of all ages and encourages them to dive into their games and join a pretty diverse community. They are constantly posting updates on new characters, gameplay changes, clothing and accessories, and overall news pertaining to the company. They social platforms they cover are instagram, twitter, reddit, facebook, linkedin, and youtube, so where ever you search you can always find news on this company's actions.
