sometimes it bothers me that all of the married sapphic representation comes in the form of extremely expensive and elaborate wedding pictures at extremely expensive and elaborate weddings surrounded by supportive friends and family
so heres a shoutout to the married and soon-to-be-married sapphics who are poor, who can’t have fancy elaborate weddings and scrape up money to afford to get married at all, who don’t have supportive family to come watch them marry their wife, who have a limited number of supportive friends or none at all, who don’t have wedding pictures or dresses or fancy rings because they can’t or don’t want to. you matter too.
