Anti-Anxiety Orb
Find a place to stop for a moment and imagine a thin thread of cool, electric-blue light coming down from above and entering your body through the top of your head. Imagine this thread is expanding within you and pushing out all the stress and anxiety. See this light expanding until it has become an orb around you and your are fully cleansed of the anxiety and protected from further psychic disruption. To seal the spell, say this chant to yourself:
Anxiety banished, stress cast away; Calm returns, here to stay.
The key to this is starting with the thinnest thread so that as it expands it pushes out all the anxiety, leaving you calm and refreshed.

Sometimes I wish instead of describing myself as 26, strawberry blonde hair, 163cm tall, I wish I could describe myself in songs, in minor chords, in the melodic singing voices of others. Or a single, thick, brushstroke, or a particular shade of green, the feel of the grooves in a mosaic when you run your fingers over it, the way that feet sink and settle when you simply stand in the waves.
I want to describe myself in feelings, not in facts. But it comes across as pretentious, so I can’t.

"You Shall Not Pass" Spell
Inspired by Gandalf’s fight with the Balrog this is a spell for those nights when the space beyond the bed feels crowded or unfriendly.
This spell can be done sitting in the middle of the bed, with nothing but you and your will, or you can use a wand or staff if you prefer. I use my staff and sword when I’m at home because it feels more Gandalf-y to me but if I’m staying somewhere else I tend to just use my hands. You can also either perform the spell from your bed (which is good if you’re low on spoons or you’ve woken up in the middle of the night and don’t want to get out of bed) or you can perform it by walking around the bed (which is best if you want to use the staff). If you normally sleep with a crystal or rock under your pillow, you can use that as an additional spell anchor by holding it in one of your hands as you perform the spell.
And how do you do that, precisely?
Well first you need to channel your inner Gandalf, and I find simply thinking about that scene in the movies works wonders. Gandalf may be tired and exhausted but he knows his innate power, knows he has the strength to create a barrier to prevent the Balrog from passing into his space. Connect to the core within yourself, where your innate strength resides, and allow it to flood your body and fill you with the knowledge that you have the power to control what passes the barriers you choose to make. Once your energy is filling every inch of you, tingling along your skin, you’re ready to begin.

can ppl stop talking like it’s shitty to avoid eye contact or being unable to have eye contact? can people stop making people sound like assholes if they don’t smile back or can’t smile on the spot? can people stop calling people rude for not responding to greetings or simple things in stores? like can we just stop painting this shit as bad.. i literally can’t do anything about it, but that doesn’t mean i want to hurt people’s feelings.. and i am so sick and tired of people brushing this stuff off as people ignoring you, judging you, or being a “rude customer”. i am so sick and tired of seeing people come with this guilting bs on tumblr.

Whites trynna practice hoodoo is so…? Why are you praying to the deceased ancestors of African American people who died under white supremacy, which you benefit from? You really feel entitled to the service of black folks, even in death?

How to learn languages by being lazy
So, today I’m gonna talk about how I learned 7 languages (English, Spanish, French, German, ASL, Libras, LSM) by being lazy as f**ck.
The first thing you need to understand is that you need to put your target language on your routine just as your native language. Then, here we go.
• Listen Just as your native language, it’s very important to listen every single day on the language you’re learning. You can totally do it by listening to a song or a podcast itself.
• Talk Make native or fluent friends in your TL (you can use apps/sites as Lingbe, Tandem, Interpals) and speak to them, sending audios and texts. A great way to practice almost everyday in a really cool way.
• Play Playing games it’s also a awesome way: you’ll become kinda addicted to it, then yay, you’re practicing it everyday in a entertaining mode. This can give you hella vocabulary too.
• Read Reading books (short stories on Wattpad can be great), quotes, newspaper and magazines is a good option as well.
• Watch
I’m pretty sure you love to watch TV shows, TV programs, videos on YouTube, so why not watch all of it in your target language?
You can totally watch your favorite program/tv show dubbed, cool videos and etc.
Tip: if you have Netflix, change the idiom of your profile and pum, it’ll appears lots and lots of movies and tv shows in that language. If you don’t, you can just search on YouTube the movie title that it’ll show.
• Write
Writing a diary (what happened in your day, how you’re feeling…) or stories or poems in your TL can help a lot too. Don’t worry about grammar or vocabulary mistakes, just write, you should do the corrections later.
These are general topics, there may be things that aren’t in your native language routine, so you can also modify this.
I hope this helps you guys, any doubts you can totally ask me! Greetings from Brazil! :)
