I have grieved the end that has not arrived yet, but at least I am ready for it. I am sorry for how I have been these last few years.

Why Do I Stay?

You don't really know the real me. You haven't known me in so many years. Why do I stay? I think I find comfort in knowing that you're here. I can't see life without you, but I also can't see it with you. I can't win in my heart.

Craving You.

The hunger is back.

My heart begins to rumble, hungry for something in you.

You look at me like you haven't seen a bit of food in so long.

My fingers bite at your skin, your hand tastes my neck.

You're starving too.

We feast together until we're finished, making sure every crumb is picked up, every plate is licked clean.

Our meal is finished, we clean the table, do the dishes.

I am full.

My stomach begins to ache, I do not know if this is our last feast together before the end.

Maybe we can do this another day, same time and place?

I don't want these dinner dates to end quite just yet.
