I've tried to ask you this in some daydreams that I've had but you're always busy being make-believe

And do you look into the mirror to remind yourself you're there? Or have somebody's goodnight kisses got that covered?

When I'm not being honest, I pretend that you were just some lover

Now I can't think of there without thinking of you, I doubt that comes as a surprise

And I can't think of anything to dream about, I can't find anywhere to hide

And when I'm hanging on by the rings around my eyes And I convince myself I need another And for a minute it gets easy to pretend that you were just some lover

When I'm pipe and slippers and rocking chair, singing dreadful songs about summer -

will I have found a better method of pretending you were just some lover?

I just finished my first book for this year. It was The Memory Police by Yoko Ogawa. Maybe I'll upload and document all my reads here. I kinda also want to write my review on it in here but I already have a notebook where all my thoughts about the books I read are kept :) It just feels more legit haha

Yknow, I usually get sad when it's time for me to leave my job. My last working day here is on 3rd of March, but I can feel the sadness creeping in already. I don't why I'm sad tho - maybe because I had high hopes for this company when I got in. I should've set my expectations (very) low though 😅

I'm gonna miss my workmates here :'( the office staff (we were only 3, now down to 2) and the production team! (the seamstresses, and our quality control personnel) </3 they were all very kind, and helpful in their own little ways. And they were funny too! I have learned to love working with them, and spending time with them. I appreciate their talents and skills so much! They can make swimwear, activewear, dresses, coordinates, etc., even dolls!

I really do hope they know that they're a part of something bigger. They're not just seamstresses. Maybe I should tell them? Hehe

I havent gone outside to meet with friends for a short while now. I actually dont feel the need to, as of now, and I actually don't want to. Not now. No qualms. I guess I'm just holding space for the major changes that's happening in my life currently, and respecting its process. I feel at ease, I feel at peace 😌

I have thousands of pictures and videos from our Dubai trip and I don't really know what to do with them. I kinda want to keep them all for myself but I also want to post them. I'm just really happy, and elated that we got to travel (finally!!) as a family ❤️ I'm really really grateful!!! Thank you God!
