being a fan of like real life bands is way funnier than anything else because whenever they say something weird and ur like "why did he say that" you have to remember theres no author or anything who made them say that. they said that with their own free will

there’s a difference between guardianship and having a support person who helps you with legal, medical, and financial decisions. As a disabled adult, I am allowed to name a proxy to make decisions for me. I am allowed to bring rental documents to my parents or to support workers and say “help me understand this.” I was allowed to have a support person in the room when police were interviewing me as a victim of a crime. I was allowed to sign documents giving my sister medical decision making power in the event that I cannot make decisions. none of this requires a guardianship. A guardianship would say that I legally cannot make my own decisions. With my set up, I can get the help I need. I can also say no if I want to. I can choose who helps me, for example I want my sister to make medical decisions with me because she is less transphobic than my parents, and I want a peer support worker to help me with my disability benefits paperwork because they’re more experienced with the system. A guardianship wouldn’t allow that. A guardianship would say “here’s the one person who makes the choices” rather than letting me go to my team for help. Or like. If I want to make a decision on my own and experience those consequences, I can. Guardianships take away that choice.
you don’t need a guardianship to get help with making decisions.

the insane experience of missing a fictional character . like you can always go back and reread the book , replay the game , rewatch the show or movie , you can always go back & see them , but you can never experience them & their story for the first time again . its absurd to miss them because they'll always be there , but you'll miss when there were still new things for them to say .
for a small time they were real & growing and changing and you hung onto every new word, but now all they can do is repeat the same story forever&ever & they're not real anymore because you know everything they're going to do. & you miss them. its fucked man...
