well the earth circled the sun again :0 i am grateful that this year wasnt the worst i have lived through, and im glad for all of the people i was able to help, even if it isn't really enough yet

i have no reach on this blog. there is really nothing i have contributed to the tumblr economy. i don't really have the energy to engage in fandoms or rly even blogging, i think the godfather war has stripped me down to the bare minimum of a person.

i am not and have never been a mentally stable person. the first activism i ever did was environmental work, and doing that for the amount of time you do for the results you get is something that really erodes a part of you, as every environmentalist can tell you.

at least hardship breeds innovation :) when i started putting up posters i really didn't think it would go as far as it has, there were like 5 campaigns i was boosting, which has now increased to over 40, to varying results.

if you are compelled to, you appreciate my work, whatever, please donate or share Haya Jouda's campaign. i obviously share every campaign that reaches out to me (unless it's unvetted) but my priority is mostly based on the amount of time since the last donation, and this campaign has been stagnant for a shameful 21 days.

i generally do not post asks or rb campaigns because i have like 70 followers on this blog and they are generally broke as shit! the way i boost campaigns is by putting up posters.

my current goal is for none of the campaigns i post to go more than 24 hrs (although 12 would be better) without donations, which is only achievable by putting them in a good spot and remaining organized to see who has the greatest need.

i have a pretty big backlog on this project rn :(, but i am also talking to artists in other cities who can help once the holiday clears up. I am incredibly sorry to anyone whose campaign was impacted negatively by my posting, specifically the Kouffa family, the Atila family, Nour and Dina Aboalresh, Jaber Al-Haj and his family, and Yahya Al-Habil and his family.

I take responsibility because i encourage people who have ample documentation to reach out to me, as they are always quicker to investigate some gfm than others :( i posted Mohammed Ayesh's gfm one time (hoping to boost Gaza's most known vetter of these fundraisers) and he was "under investigation" for like a week from gfm because vicious people do vicious things!

However, the boosts that other campaigns have seen directly after i posted them, and the fact that people desperately need help and this genocide needs to come to an end, encourages me to continue the work :)

It is uncomfortable to go a night without sleep. it is uncomfortable to come home with purple toes. it is hard to bike hours in the middle of the night. but it isn't dangerous for me in the way just living in Gaza is. when our inaction puts others in danger we can't even imagine, then it is a basic responsibility to act!!!

Please be as patient with me as you can, I am one guy in a city about 10 times the size of Gaza, much of it difficult to access without a car and cold as fuck in the winter. I will be as steadfast as possible in spreading the support for Gaza through the US, where people are already wildly unsatisfied with their government and largely unsupported in any way, especially as they cut more and more social services and infrastructure.

you must understand that if a cracker from the US in 2024 is homophobic then that's a personal flaw but if someone from 1953 in the Soviet Union was homophobic then that shows the depravity and barbarism of communist regimes and the authoritarian and regressive nature of their governments.
