First time watching this show so these posts are my reactions to the stuff that happens.

Ok I’m on S3:E6.

WHAT IS IT WITH YOU AND WALKING RED FLAGS. FIRST SHANE NOW THE GOVERNOR.

I DO NOT like the Governor or *ahem* Phillip or Mr. “I don’t tell anyone my name.”

Wasn’t Andrea like some lawyer or smth, I thought she’d be smarter??

I am glad to see Merle however, interested to see what happens to him. I know he wants to find Daryl so, what lengths is he willing to go for that? Guess we’ll see.

I’m not sure how I feel about Michonne either, trying to get a read on her character but it’s hard. She’s got a cool weapon tho. 🤺⚔️🗡️

And despite what anyone says, Daryl is great at baby names.

The Walking Dead

Another post about my current hyper fixation. This one is my thoughts on Shane.

K. At first, seems ok. Saved Lori and Carl from the apocalypse, what a guy right? 🙂Kind of liked being in charge which was annoying but whatever.

Him and Lori are a THING??? 👀 UHH, girl your husband just “died”, moved on a little fast don’t you think. Shane, you needed to back off. Slipped into the family a little too quickly and easily, raising some red flags there buddy.

The way he was when he saw Rick, alive and well, looking more disappointed just made me go uhhh something’s not right here.

And watching as things just kept getting worse between the former partners, BEST FRIENDS, just broke my heart. When he almost shot Rick, I was on the edge of my seat cause I couldn’t believe it.

When Shane sacrificed Otis, my heart skipped a beat I WAS NOT EXPECTING IT. Like when the episode started with him shaving his head and he looked pretty bad, I had a bad feeling but didn’t think he’d do what he did. Come on, OTIS HAD A FAMILY AND YOU MURDERED HIM IN COLD BLOOD. Seeing Shane unravel after that, I give a lot of props to the writers. Man literally descended into madness it was so heartbreaking but at the same time I didn’t really feel bad for him because he just was so horrible.

Don’t even get me started with what he almost did to Lori at the CDC.

All in all, Shane, you kinda got what you deserved. You may have felt like a jilted lover, but that does not excuse the BLOOD ON YOUR HANDS. And I wish you could see how devastated Rick is over having to kill you.

Anyways, that’s my rant for today. A few episodes into Season 3 now, let’s goooo. I know more heartbreak is on the way🥲

I know I primarily post about Star Wars, but I’ve got a new hyper fixation- The Walking Dead. Kept seeing reels and stuff and had a week off from work so decided to binge watch.

Just finished Season 2. My thoughts so far-

DALE! NO NO NO NO NO NO NO HIS DEATH HIT ME THE HARDEST HE WAS LIKE THE DAD TO EVERYONE.

WHY DID HE HAVE TO DIE THINKING THE GROUP WAS BROKEN.

Also, I went into this preparing to be a Rick fan, but-

Kamino. A beautiful planet in the outer rim. For people who liked rain, at least. It rained almost every day of the year and it was rare that it wasn't thundering outside. But, for all it's thundering storms, there was the calm city of Tipoca. It was the main city and was the starting place for the cloning of one Mandalorian, Jango Fett.

Mara Jade Skywalker

Star Wars Legends

I'm emerging from my Star Wars art block to draw my queen, the most badass, the woman so out of Luke's league but he somehow still managed to land her, the perfection that is Mara Jade.

I love her with my whole heart you guys. Always have, always will. She's one of the reasons Legends is my Star Wars in my heart of hearts.

She isn't canon anymore and New Republic is an era I haven't touched yet so I struggled. I struggled with colour palette. I struggled with background. I struggled with corners. All of it. So finally I said fuck it, let's just have some fun and this came out.

hot artists don't gatekeep

I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.
