Gmail Name Trick

If your school is like mine and has blocked all deadname removers and won’t let you edit your google account, try this trick. It changes your name on gmail. I’m not sure if the specifics, but it does nothing for google hangouts or your google account. It doesn’t change everything, but it makes me smile so I’m gonna share it with you all. Some info is covered to protect my privacy and the privacy of my friends.

In gmail, hit the settings button, located to the right of the search mail area at the top of the screen.

A box will pop up on the right side of your screen. Click “see all settings”

where your inbox usually is will have a full settings page. At the top are different tabs. The 4th tab over says accounts. Click that.

In the second block down, it should have your email address. Look a bit over to the right where it says “edit info” click that

A new window should come up in the top left of your screen. Click the circle next to the blank box and in the box, type your first and last name. Hit save changes. You can delete that window.

Here’s a modern Omega for you guys. This was the most complicated hairstyle I’ve done but my friend sent it to me and I knew it was destined for her. what makes me sad about the bad batch is that the team is also taking another jump in voice acting/voice line style. all of the little bits of conversations flow so much more naturally. they make a lot of nonverbal noises that would be normal for anyone to make. there's a bit less of an effort to have everyone speaking as formally with little variation in tone. the mess hall scene's lines from the regular clones is one of my favorites cause we never see the clones have petty reactions like that, really. wrecker say "ow" a LOT and it's like. i want to hear more of that. why did we never get overlapping speech and interruptions for the first seven seasons of this show.

An open letter to white Star Wars fans:

Y’all gotta stop talking over us. Y’all gotta listen when we speak, y’all gotta boost our voices, y’all gotta stop brushing us off as insignificant because we are small in number. Stop trying to tell us what is and isn’t racism; y’all have not experienced racism a DAY in your life, you do not get to tell me if something is racist when I’m pushed aside for the color of my skin or the slant of my eyes. You don’t get to tell the Māori fans that the clones aren’t whitewashed, you don’t get to tell the black and Asian fans that Finn and Rose Tico weren’t shafted. And y’all don’t get to pretend that half of this crap doesn’t come from fandom racism, because y’all get mad every single fucking time there’s a non white character on screen.

And no. It is not all white Star Wars fans. You don’t need to remind me of that, I’m well aware and I’m not in the mood to hear “but not all white people!” You know what? It might not be all white people, but all POC are affected, so maybe rethink that argument if you were getting ready to type that into my replies. Not to mention, racism is embedded so deep within this fandom that if you are not using your platforms to spread the word, you are contributing. POC cannot be the only ones doing this. There aren’t enough of us, and you know why? Because every time y’all see a POC make valid points about fandom or in-show/in-movie racism, y’all ignore them and harass them out of the fandom. Y’all talk over then, tell them that they’re just being over dramatic, that no, they couldn’t possibly know what whitewashing is, because god forbid someone point out flaws in the media you’re interested in.

I’m tired of it. And I know a lot of other POC in this fandom are tired of it too.
